"We ordered a large steak calzone ($19), which was generously filled with cheese and meat and had a nice crispy exterior, but it could have benefited from more flavor—some onions, garlic, and additional spices would have made a big difference. It was very large and filling, so we had enough left over to take home a few slices, which reheated well in the toaster oven.
On the other hand, the caprese salad ($10) was quite disappointing and really affected my overall rating of the food. It was bland, consisting of just three thin slices of tomato and three small pieces of mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic glaze. To my surprise, there was no basil at all—I’ve never encountered a caprese salad without basil! It also needed a sprinkle of salt and some olive oil. Plus, it didn't resemble the menu photo, which showed a typical caprese salad with basil.
If we decide to return, I think we'll stick to the takeout counter for pizza, as that seems to be their specialty."
