"Wow! The hotel is located at Lawrence Shopping Centre. The complex is now under new ownership, and they've made some improvements, bringing in new retailers. This pizzeria has been around for 30 years, as long as I can remember. The restaurant is family-run, with a father and son working on-site, and they are incredibly friendly and personal. Their menu features high-quality items that go beyond just typical pizza. Be sure to try the NY Strip, Vodka Rigatoni, and Panini Sandwiches. There's plenty of parking available, and it's ADA-compliant. They also have two dining rooms suitable for private events."

"Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We have expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"My wife and I have dined at Short Hills several times and have always enjoyed our meals. However, our most recent visit with another couple who had never been there was quite disappointing. We had just an hour before graduation, and our waitress had a rather unfriendly attitude. One of our friends ordered a hot corned beef sandwich, but it was served cold, and the waitress seemed annoyed that she had to take it back to the kitchen. My potato pancakes were overcooked and lacked flavor. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience."

"I ordered BBQ wings, but they accidentally gave me plain wings with ketchup packets instead. At first, I was quite disappointed, but since I actually enjoy plain wings, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, they turned out to be the best wings I've ever had from any restaurant, so I can't really complain. The pizza was fantastic as well. I'll definitely be ordering from here again the next time I'm in the mood for wings. Plus, the coupon deal for a personal pizza, wings, and a drink is a great bargain!"

"First visit here and was very happy with it. Menu was huge...many choices. For a diner, it was was very clean inside. This isnt your typical greasy spoon. Waiter was friendly and the food was very good. I had the Italian Burger with a side of fries. Burger was not a sopping greasy mess but was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. I had a cup of coffee as well. .. waiter brought out a mug of coffee! Even the coffee was tasty...not burnt old jo. Btw the way at the table was a sign advertising bottles of wine at prices that you usually don't see in a restaurant. This place has been here a long time, wish I had come here sooner! As an afterthought.. If the chefs there read this.. add some hot pickled cherry peppers to that Italian Burger for a real winning alternative."

"This spot has been on Ocean Avenue for years, but I only recently decided to check it out. It took me a while to review the menu, as it features everything from breakfast specials to chow fun. I opted for the Grilled Pork Garlic Noodle Plate for $11.95. It was a generous serving with a large heap of garlic noodles alongside marinated pork garnished with sesame seeds. "Went with my husband for lunch. The service was nice and friendly. For drinks we ordered a strawberry daiquiri which was bitter and not sweet (I added some sweet n low and it tasted fine after that) and a Long Island Iced Tea which was strong and had a nice flavor. We had soup and wings for an appetizer. I don’t see why they call them “buffalo” wings if they are just fried wings with no sauce. For $16 it seemed a bit of false advertising as we wouldn’t have ordered them if we knew they were like that. For our mains we had a roast beef sandwich and a eggplant panini. Both were really good. Lots of fries, perfectly rare roast beef which came with a side of mayo that we didn’t even have to ask for. The eggplant panini was delicious with melted mozz and roasted pepper. Overall it was good enough, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again but I wouldn’t avoid it either."

"I love the retro vibe in there, definitely takes you way back. Atmosphere is solid. It’s super family friendly and the space is quite huge. Menu is your typical diner menu, has absolutely whatever it is you’re in the mood for. I think it’s nice this particular diner offers delicatessen options. They bring out pickles and pickled beets for you to snack on while you wait for your food which is nice. I ordered the Swiss steak burger and asked for disco fries instead of regular fries and got Mimosas. My friends got an omelette and the brisket sandwich. We all liked the taste of our food but the one complaint we all had was that it was COLD. Food is seriously cold almost as it it’s been sitting out for quite some time. Also side not my friend liked her brisket sandwich but personally it tried and thought the pickled bell pepper was very overpowering. I would come back but certainly wouldn’t order that. Also I need to try the cheesecake!!! Service was good not great but not terrible. Didn’t have to wait long for anything but never got checked on so it was kinda get up and go flag the waitress down. I will be back tho."

"I like the food, but the seasoning on the fries is not my cup of tea (not bad just not for me). There is an option when you order to have them not seasoned, which I chose for one of them since my husband does like the seasoning. I'll order again at some point and order both fries not seasoned, and if it's right, I'll change my review. The burgers are simple but really good. The Nashville chicken sandwich is really good too."
