"This restaurant is incredible! They stay open late and are very friendly. I arrived late at night looking for a few dishes, and they said, "If you can't find what you want, just give us 10 minutes and we'll make it for you." I was craving the margarita pizza, so I decided to wait. I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I loved it so much that I ended up buying the entire meal for my family. The staff was great and the service was impeccable."

"It has been over 40 years since I last visited LA Sicilia, back when I lived on Washington Avenue with my first wife. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was friendly and the prices were fair. Fast forward almost half a century later, the staff may be different but the charm of this place remains unchanged. My vegetarian wife enjoyed the fried zucchini appetizer and the stuffed manicotti with marinara sauce. I, on the other hand, loved the long hots appetizer and the sliced sausage with peppers and onions on a hot sub. Our waitresses, Marbella and Jamie, were pleasant, attentive and deserving of a generous tip. LA Sicilia is a great choice for a meal after a leisurely walk through the Cherry Blossoms in Branch Brook Park or while conducting business in North Jersey."

"Loved the pizza. I only took one star away because I got delivery and it arrived 20 minutes late and cold. Even though it was cold, this pizza still shined compared to many other pizzas I've had. This was the cauliflower crust which expectedly costs a bit more but the size was smaller and it was pricey. Separate from that the meat, cheese, sauce and crust were all good. Very rarely do you find a place where all the pieces are good which is probably why I was okay with the cost. They also made it to my online order specifications- light cheese, extra sauce. I got a meat pizza and all the meat was quality. I don't eat pizza often. Maybe 3 max 4 times a year. This was definitely worth the deviation from my normal nutrition. Yum! I'm sure I'll eat again once more this year."

"Jordan?s is always a great idea. I?ve been going for years and ordering their chicken cutlet sandwich for lunch; solid choice???????? I?ve also ordered their chicken souvlaki platters with fries on the side. The way they prep their fries is justaddicting and I can?t not finish my serving. "I placed a pre-scheduled order that arrived more than an hour earlier than the time I had chosen. I paid nearly $8 extra for delivery, expecting the food to be hot and ready when I wanted to eat. If I wanted to pick up the food earlier, I could have easily done that myself and just reheated it. The driver mentioned that my next order would be 15% off. However, when I called to ask about this discount while placing my next order, I was only offered $5 off, which didn’t even cover the extra expense I incurred. I was quite surprised, considering they have been around for a long time. I wasn't extremely upset, but I was just expecting better service given the circumstances."

"I will never order from this restaurant again. I ordered three grinders and went down the list of ingredients and modified as we wanted. The grinders were delivered as the general item listing rather than made with the modifications we clearly indicated. We could not eat them because of allergies. I called and the manager argued with me insisting Door Dash should somehow be responsible for issuing a refund, even though they had nothing to do with the errors. He carried on arguing and not listening to me at all, speaking over me, only defending himself and not even hearing me for quite a while, refused to either remake our grinders or refund us, and finally hung up on me. I am so livid at the total unwillingness to make this right! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. With fees it was over $60 for three grinders and 2/3 we couldn’t even eat. I have literally never even written a review before but this is wrong."

"So my wife ordered cheese pizzas and she also likes her garlic knots. I love their pizza because it tastes this style of the family home that the big chains are often missing. When I walk in, I have the sense that this place is deeply used in the community. There was a birthday party and some locals came in and knew the names of the cashier. It felt secret and friendly. I'll be back to my next order."

"This Italian deli is my favorite spot to go to, never failing to impress me. Their selection of cold cuts is top-notch, and I always make sure to grab some prosciutto along with their delicious bean and potato salad, fresh bread, and other Italian dishes. The service is exceptionally friendly, with staff who remember your name, which is rare these days. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the products. "Had to run quickly for lunch, only my debit card did not think that there could be a minimum purchase, I ordered 2 regular slices of pizza. Came to $4. 87, the girl asked if I got something else, I told her no, but what the minimum is, she said $6.00. She asked if I wanted a well silk, I said we had a coke. Well, then a Mountain Dew, she said ok take one from the refrigerator got a can Mountain Dew my bill was 8.57. When I said, why so high she told me I had the special! Two slices of pizza and soda! 4,00 for a soda can! I'll never go there again! If I wasn't in a hurry, she would have refunded my money."

"I moved to Bayonne 12 years ago and have passed by this restaurant many times without trying it. Despite other highly recommended pizza places in the area, I decided to give La Guardiola a chance after being disappointed by other options. We were in search of a nearby restaurant with good pizza and wings, and La Guardiola fit the bill. We ordered a Margherita Pizza and Plain Wings, which arrived quickly and were fresh and hot. The wings were large, crispy, and well-seasoned, becoming my new favorite in Bayonne. The pizza was good, though the sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. The crust had a nice crisp to it, overall making for a tasty meal. I look forward to trying more items on the menu in the future, but La Guardiola is now my top choice for pizza and wings night. So delicious!"

"This is a locally owned restaurant with a wide variety of food options. The staff is incredibly friendly; I was warmly welcomed as soon as I walked in. Since it was my first visit, they took the time to patiently explain the entire menu to me. When I requested a few substitutions, they were very accommodating. The fruit served was fresh and delightful. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely return in the future."

"9 out of 10 times, the pizza is outstanding. However, occasionally it comes out very thin and flat, which is disappointing, especially after getting used to the generous sauce and cheese, along with the large, hearty slices that are usually served. The prices are also great. This is likely one of the best places in NJ for pizza and cheesesteaks, and I've tried them in both southern and northern Jersey. The only downside is the older woman at the counter, who is rude regardless of how polite you try to be, which slightly detracts from the overall experience."

"I phoned in an order. When I got there, there was no order for me. The waitress said I never ordered and maybe I ordered from a different Stevo’s, which of course there is none. It was obvious she forgot to put my order in. Mistakes happen but worst yet was that she lied about it. I had left my phone at home so when I got back home I redialed the number I had called to prove I called the right number. The same waitress answered and continued to deny I had ordered. I told her I was a frequent customer and wanted to speak to the owner, Steve. She refused to let me speak to him and hung up on me. I know it is hard to find people to work these days, but if that is the best Stevo’s can hire, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Update after Stevo’s reply correct, I did not order spinach. I asked for spinach and was told by her you did not have it so I ordered without it which just proves she remembered my order but did not place it. The 1 minute call call to your number at 6:11 is logged into my recent call activity so check your phone log and you will see the call was made. But more importantly she treated me poorly when I arrived, insisted it was my mistake, and did not even offer to expedite an order for me. Further more, if you really care about your customers you could take a moment to speak to them when there is a problem rather than them not getting any food and being told instead that you would call them at the end of the night, which you did not. Your denial that your business is responsible for the problem that occurred just proves your lack of care for your customers. Had you admitted your mistake I would have deleted this review, but now no way."

"December 2021: if I could, I would give 0 stars. my mother watched the restaurant of grund on. my family and I have come since I was 1 year old. But I stayed by and brought some food and used the toilet room with my mother and my nephew who is a child. I took 4 extra serviettes and the male owner flips out and comforts me. he says I'm stealing, starting to argue with me and telling me that I'm also going to the load and buying serviettes. he tells me that he has to block the bathroom for people like me and give me two serviettes to teach me a fiction. he said he needs it for his customers and the female cash says the same and that I must return the serviettes, although I have touched them already during the pandemic. I put the serviettes back to question. Overall, I was treated as if I accidentally took a serviette, as if I took from his business without entering. I'll never spend my money here again, I don't recommend spending their money here. they are not treated as a customer, there they are treated as a money provider for the restaurant. 0 stars. By the way, these four additional serviettes are required because the pizza is sometimes oily."
