As a frequent diner goer (top 10% Google reviewer), My Diner is a below average diner in terms of food quality, with many better options in the area. I ordered 3 eggs over-easy, steak tips (medium), with wheat toast. The steak tips weren’t steak tips. It was super tough and zero flavor to it. It’s like the meat wasn’t even marinated…not to mention the toughness of it means they use the wrong quality of steak for “steak tips”. The potatoes that came on the side was extremely bland as well. Overall, the food was bland and flavorless. Was super underwhelming. The staff at My Diner are some of the most friendly diner staff you will encounter, however. The niceness of the staff bumped my rating up to 3 stars, because they work hard and still treated all the customers in a friendly manner. Sadly the quality of food makes My Diner a diner I’d avoid, unless the other diners in Melrose are crowded."
