"I eat at Speckled Ts all the time, the food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. On this particular night, Groovy 7 was live on stage. .. with bands like that on stage this place is a 10! Great food, great atmosphere, amazing band... appetizer. ... NACHOS ARE A MUST HAVE! Only small complaint is the service slows down tremendously on live music nights. Had the band not been a perfect 10, we would have left early. Overall, i still give it a 9 out of 10. Waitress did her best, and with that kind of crowd and chaos I can overlook the slow service, others may not."

"We’ve never seen such an impressive variety of beers on tap. The staff is exceptionally friendly and ready to assist you in exploring the choices, even providing samples to help with your decision. The atmosphere is laid-back and reminiscent of a classic beer garden. The pit looked amazing, and we wished we were hungrier to try the food. They offer a pig roast on Saturdays, which looked absolutely delicious. Located on Rainer Street, which can get quite busy, the beer garden felt like a serene escape. Highly recommend!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"You know this would’ve been a five star review if not for one thing. Let me start at the beginning. We got there, seated outside and had a beer or two. The beer list is interesting, some different things that we had not had before. Pretty good. The food was better than many. The service was acceptable. The thing that really really put me off was at the end when the check came. Let me preface this by saying I tip pretty generously always! As long as the server is reasonably accommodating, They don’t even have to be great, just reasonable. When the server brought the check, he pointed out a 20% tip is already calculated into the total, as a separated charge aReady included. I was stunned. I paid without complaint, like most I’m sure. But the more I thought about it afterwards, it’s very audacious To put a customer in a position of arguing about a gratuity, in the case where it was not deserved, with the very server who provided substandard service. All in all it’s just a very tacky practice. That along well stop me from going back. Such a shame, because the place does have a lot of potential. And we do like beer!"

"My friend gave me a hard time for only tipping the barista 15%. The interaction was so brief. He didn’t ask about my day or even make eye contact. I didn’t care, I was actually relieved. I wasn’t feeling social anyways. At the same time I didn’t feel the need to tip him more than 15% for less than 10 seconds of his time. Later that day I went to the grocery store with the same friend. At this point I had my coffee and was feeling more social. When we were checking out, the grocery clerk was so friendly. She greeted us with a huge smile and started asking us about our day. She seemed to show genuine interest. When she finished scanning and bagging our groceries, she smiled and wished us a good day. I didn’t leave her a tip and my friend thought that was okay. Anyway, the Laughing Goat made me re-think the way I tip. They also serve delicious drinks."

"I ordered meats from this company this week. This company is located in Georgia and I am located in . I was informed that they would ship my package on a certain day. I called this company two days later to find out my tracking number and the shipping company they were going to use. I had to wait for a manager to call me with the information regarding my shipment, which I thought was strange. I thought they would have reached out to me to inform me of the shipping company and tracking number since I PAID for my shipment upfront without even an invoice or a breakdown of the cost. When I called, they gave me the WRONG tracking number and it was like pulling teeth to find out the shipping company who was suppose to be shipping my order. The order was close to $200.00!!! After numerous phone calls to this meat company, they called the shipping company to find out what was going on. I received a phone call to tell me that the shipping company had changed the tracking number, amongst other issues. To be honest, I did not get a clear reason of why and what happened. I was also told that I could call the shipping company to get information; why should I do that when I am sure that I paid the meat company to take care of that. I work, and do not think that I should have to do that since the meat company is the one responsible for my shipment until I receive it. I was also told that an invoice is in my package. That is not the way to do business, they could have emailed me the invoice like they emailed me the wrong tracking information. I feel like I should have received a phone call regarding my shipment and information as well. After I called the third time, the lady I spoke to was VERY RUDE and felt like I was taking up her valuable time.....some customer service. I will NEVER order from them AGAIN. I would like a formal apology for their unprofessionalism and they need to do better with out of town customers who order from them and pay upfront!"

"South Texan here! If I didn't know any better I would have thought that this was from the Gulf coast. It is the perfect blend of Southern cooking and popular Mexican treats. I was so amused at the concept. I love the decorations, the staff was exceedingly friendly, the prices are fair, especially for the downtown Richmond area, and the food was great. This restaurant is also an LGBTQ+ safe space. The staff are Queer, there's RuPaul music playing in the background, and they have amateur drag shows competitions, movie screenings, and trivia nights on Saturdays. The single tacos are also large compared to a lot of people's street corn tacos. I could have eaten just the fish taco and been fine for lunch, but because it was so good I ate the elote too. I want to see one of these in Texas! Also, if you are doing pick up then you just scan the QR code rather than ordering with an employee."
