"Upon entering, we grabbed a tray, napkins, and forks—but discovered that everything was sticky and not clean, which forced us to regroup and find some clean utensils. Afterward, we stood in line with a few customers ahead of us, and by the time we reached the front, there was one person behind us. We made our selections, paid, and found a table.
Our plates were plentiful, and we dug in. We both ordered the turkey and dressing with two sides and cornbread, along with two teas and a slice of pie. Unfortunately, the turkey and dressing were barely warm, and after a few bites, we decided it was best not to eat them for safety reasons. The sides were similarly lukewarm and rather unappetizing, and both the pie crust and cornbread were burnt.
We wanted to share our concerns but couldn’t find anyone who seemed to be in charge. The staff was friendly, but they were all focused on their individual tasks.
In summary, for a bill of $40 (including a 15% tip), we left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return. There are certainly better options within walking distance."
