"I have ordered from Top Tier Catering multiple times, but today I was very disappointed. Not only was I unhappy with my order, but I was also let down by the owner’s response to my concerns. I ordered a half pan of macaroni and cheese and a half pan of potato salad from their menu. However, I received a full half pan of potato salad for $45, but less than half a pan of macaroni and cheese for $50, which looked dried out. I took a picture and called the restaurant to speak with the owner, whom I had previously praised as a young Black entrepreneur running what seemed like a successful business. He confirmed he was the owner, and I explained the issue: I had received less than half of the half pan of macaroni and cheese. When he asked if I had ordered the large pan or the half pan, I confirmed it was the half pan. He then said that was correct. I then asked if it was normal for the half pan to be only half full, as it was clearly less than half of the pan, and he again insisted that was the correct amount. Meanwhile, the half pan of potato salad was indeed full. I expressed that the quality of the macaroni and cheese did not justify the $50 price and that I would not order it again. His response was simply, “That’s fine.” This indifference to customer satisfaction was very disappointing, especially since I have used Top Tier Catering multiple times, including for my granddaughter’s sweet 16. It’s truly a shame."
