"Tonight, we took some family members to Hokie Smokie for their first experience at the restaurant. Although we had to wait a bit longer for our food than we anticipated, we remained patient, knowing it would be worth it. Some in our group became a bit restless, but our waitress and what I assume were the owners graciously apologized for the delay. In hindsight, I wish I had remembered to be more patient and focused on enjoying quality time with my family and the delicious food, despite the wait.
