"My daughters had invited myself and my wife to Naples to celebrate my 60th birthday. They had made a reservation at Pazzo for 20.30 and we arrived on time and was shown directly to our table. The restaurant was reasonably full but there many empty tables which on a Friday evening was somewhat surprising. We ordered drinks which came along pretty swiftly and was then asked to order which we did from the rather large and extensive menu. Our starters arrived in a flash, two tomato and mozzarella salads, one Tuscan bean soup and a Caesar salad. The soup tasted as if it had been made from paint emulsion, too much oil made it stick to the back of the throat. As for the Mozzarella this had obviously been pre-prepared and almost frozen making the tomatoes mushy and tasteless. To add insult to injury our main course arrived whilst we were trying to make the most of the appetizers. Needless to say we sent it back and was then confronted by a very put out manager whom tried to explain that this was the way they served paying clients at Pazzo. There was no question of the customer always being right, just eat what's is placed in front of you. I could go on and on but needless to say the meal went back to the kitchen and that was the last we saw of it. We asked for the bill and found that they had the audacity to add a gratuity which was promptly removed. If you want fast food stick to McDonald's, the service is better so is the food."

"Best tiramisu I’ve ever had! DO NOT GET THE CALAMARI! We didn’t think to ask how it was prepared but the calamari was cold, the sauce was hot, and the whole dish ended up a kind of cold mushy mess. Our server didn’t ask us how the food was, and when we did end up sharing how it wasn’t for us, she said, “oh yeah. I normally tell people in detail what it is, but must’ve forgot.” We really wanted a special meal to celebrate. Service: Dine in"

"Many Hotel restaurants are poor. They have a captive audience so they don't have to try very hard. This one is not in that category. I travel to Northern NJ frequently and this is my go to place anywhere near Teaneck/ Hackensack area. The menu is a combination of modern Italian with a few traditional items. The service is always fantastic.(Thank you Leotilde and Felicia) this is one of the top restaurants in the area."

"The service was great ….. I believe her name is Asia ,but was concerned that our amazing server was doing everything from busing to drinks and clean up. She is a keeper, we don’t want to o see her go. Just thinking that more support staff would be helpful. Lasagna is amazing. We asked for a speciality drink which our server didn’t blink an eye, and made it for us. Very accommodating we will be back."

"We visited during restaurant week, but unfortunately, the Gnudi listed on the Chicago website was not available when we arrived. Our server seemed fairly indifferent to our experience. The complimentary bread was definitely the highlight of our meal. The presentation of the meatballs for restaurant week was underwhelming. While both the sausage and the meatball were decent, they didn’t leave a lasting impression. The Wild Boar Pasta was the least favored dish — the pasta itself had the perfect texture and consistency, but the ragu was overloaded with flavors, leading us to ask for cheese to balance the spices. The prices were reasonable for handmade dishes, but the flavors in the pasta left something to be desired. Customer service was acceptable, but if you plan to arrive early or wait for your table, be prepared to stand near some oddly placed eatery stations."

"We attended the Italian wine dinner at Sorrento. $180 pp includes tax and tip Sorrento has been one of our favorite special occasion restaurants for many years. Overall, the wine dinner was excellent food as always was excellent and the service was lovely. My only suggestions for future wine dinners is skip the reception in the front of the restaurant. It was cramped and way too crowded and most of us could not get any appetizers. a very nice waiter did bring us a plate of appetizers which was really sweet but we had to flag him down. There’s just not enough room in the entrance of the restaurant to do a proper reception. Maybe you could do the reception in one of the rooms or just go ahead and seat everybody as they come in. The gentleman presenting the wines was obviously imbibing on them himself, and his presentations were boring and too long. At one point, he essentially told everyone in the restaurant to be quiet so he could present one of the wines. It was totally inappropriate and unnecessary, I would suggest they not have him back again, or if they do, monitor his intake. The portion sizes were huge. I was already full by the third course. I took home my steak.  Overall, a lovely evening. Very romantic just a few little tweaks would have made it perfect. We will definitely be back soon."

"To start, the ambiance is wonderful for a nice dinner or date night. The food selection is so large, it’s almost too big! We ordered the cheesy garlic bread for our appetizer. Usually not a fan of ordering any sort of bread as an appetizer, but this break was so good, it did not disappoint. We ended up ordering the Pollo Poretti (our waitresses favorite), and to no surprise, it met all of our expectations. The entree was topped with their pesto sauce which was creamy and delicious. The side salad that came with the meal was wonderfully made. I ended up with the Greek salad. The dressing was tasty and had great flavor and the salad was overall just very well put together. If you are not too hungry, I’d certainly recommend sharing a meal (especially if you’re getting an appetizer)! Enjoy!"

"My friends and I were visiting from Philadelphia and were in search of some quality vegan cuisine. We sampled a few appetizers and shared a couple of main dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our favorites were the Brussels sprouts and the Thai-style burrito. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the sous-chef even came out to chat with us, as he was originally from Philly as well. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience."

"We dined here on a Friday night while staying in downtown Houston. When we first arrived the restaurant was bustling and I thought we would definitely have a long wait before being seated, but that was not the case. The staff was able to seat us quickly and within 20 minutes of being the entire restaurant had cleared out. We learned people like to dine here before shows across the street and we just happened to come in right as the show was starting. The theme of the this restaurant plays into the theater puns. I really enjoyed the Tequila Mocking Bird. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with chicken, my partner ordered the filet with fettuccine, and our friend ordered the grilled chicken alfredo. Apparently we were all in the mood for fettuccine. I am a big fan of home made alfredo and was slightly disappointed by their sauce. I can’t say for certain, but I do not believe this sauce is made from scratch. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was fair for the price. Overall, I wouldn’t mind eating here again."

"At the beginning our bartender was borderline rude. As soon as we sat down he asked us if we had been there before to which we both said no. His response was, well, it 's a restaurant like any other restaurant. He probably didn 't mean it the way it came out but it still sounded pretty bad. After a couple of other things I said something sort of under my breath, my bf was sure he heard ... but he turned it around from there as was quite the please guy!!! Bad days happen... Food? Eh! Octopus was excellent! The mussles? I 'll stick to my go to mussle spots. The microscopic piece of lobster frite was tasty I guess. Oh and they charged me for a slice of bread to dunk in my mussels juice!!! Who serves mussels with no bread?"

"I was first at the Farmhouse for a baby shower. I found the restaurant lovely and charming. The host of the shower paid for us to partake in the Sunday brunch which was very enjoyable. Because of the updated, colonial charm, I thought this would be the perfect place to enjoy Thanksgiving. I did not realize we were going to dine in the ballroom. It was not the atmosphere I had hoped for. Plus, they had the room lit very brightly which affected the dining atmosphere. We had to wait almost 40 minutes following our reservation time to be seated. After 35 minutes, I asked the hostess if she had any idea of how much longer the wait would be. Her answer was, I have no idea. As soon as the next table of 4 leaves. I thought that was an unusual response for a hostess and decided to take a quick peak in the dining room. That is when I saw that we would be sitting in the ballroom and that there were 2 empty tables of 4. We ended up being seated 2 minutes afterwards. The waiter was nice enough but appeared really busy. We did have a drink at the bar before dinner that was enjoyable despite the bartender being somewhat aloof. My brother-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed the extended raw bar that was part of the buffet. Very nice! Even though we did not have the latest reservation available, the stuffing, mashed potato chafing dishes were empty and there was only one piece of pumpkin pie left. I hope you know that this is just constructive criticism so you can make adjustments. I am a frequent diner of fine restaurants. I am not a complaining type but wanted you to know so you can make improvements to your lovely establishment."

"This was a big disappointment for Mother 's Day. I made a reservation for 2 for Mother 's day brunch as I have for the last few years so we did not have to wait for a table. When we arrived we were told that our table was a high top in the bar area, a small circular table with very little room for two glasses and plates for a meal. With few options elsewhere at that point we stayed and were then told that we had to have the buffet. My mom had surgery last year and can only eat small amounts of food at each sitting so paying $26.95 for a buffet for her would be ridiculous. After a few words with what I think was a manager they allowed us to order a meal. We were not made to feel valued as patrons by either the hostesses or this manager. The only saving grace was our waiter. I will not return nor would I recommend this for anyone."
