"I used to be a long-term regular customer for Tuscany for about 6 years. I loved the food, atmosphere, and the staff. I also enjoyed the former male manager who was always friendly. His positive demeanor added more joy in the dining experience. A lot of customers liked him as well, and we were all friends with him. However, I learned that he resigned in early 2016, and this middle-aged (somewhat obese) female manager was assigned. She was quite opposite from him. I never saw her being friendly to the customers or workers. She was rather looking upset and grumpy every time I ate at the restaurant. I witnessed a few times this woman manager was making aggressive, toxic comments to her workers. My friends whom I used to go there with noticed that, too. We also saw her drinking glasses of wine during her working hours. As soon as she became the manager, things started to change negatively. My favorite bartender whom I knew for years resigned due to the manager's abusive attitude, and the competent chef was let go. I stopped seeing the pianist who provided pleasant music. I used to talk with the staff there, so I was aware of what went on. I realized how such pleasant dining experience can turn into a more gloomy, negative one. The good food was no longer tasting good without friendly staff. So I stopped going there. They may have a different manager now hopefully, but I highly recommend the owner of this restaurant train the manager more thoroughly especially being a hospitality industry. It can hurt the business. I guess it already has because they lost myself and my friends as customers. I also heard some other people stopped going there as well for the same reasons."
