"You could easily pass by this place for years (like I did) and assume it's just another bar serving standard bar food. But that's far from the truth. The food here is inventive, delicious, and clearly crafted with great care! Every visit I've made over the past few years has showcased creatively prepared dishes that are truly tasty. If you're in the area or planning to catch a game at The Garden, you absolutely need to stop by. The drinks and beer selection are also impressive, and our waitstaff has consistently been excellent. This spot is a hidden gem!"

"We had a wonderful dinner! I would give it 5 stars. We ordered the build-your-own pasta, along with the antipasto salad and garlic bread, and the portions were very generous! I'm really glad we chose to avoid all the chain restaurants and tourist traps. It’s definitely worth the drive, and I highly recommend that everyone tries it at least once to form their own opinions."

"I want to start this review with saying I 'm a former food safety auditor, so I probably see more than the normal customer. That being said, I saw multiple food violations just from sitting at our table in the at the bar area. We sat ourselves at a high-top table and waited a few minutes until we put in a drink order. It was a half hour until we were checked in on before we asked for our check. We saw what seemed to be the manager eat multiple food items with his bare hands and even feed servers before we were asked what we wanted to order in that half hour. He never washed his hands and went in&out of the kitchen frequently. They also had a rowdy group of regulars at the opposite end of the bar that were frequently going behind the bar to converse with the bartenders. If you aren 't a regular, I wouldn 't stop in. There 's a clear hierarchy of customers that takes place when you walk through the door. We waited so long that we went next door to get tacos and better service."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The portions are always generous, and I absolutely love the little cookies they include with takeout orders! My family has been catering from Stallone’s for Christmas for years, and even during the busy holiday season, our orders are always correct and the food never disappoints. Whenever I pick up catering, the young waitstaff often offer to help carry it to my car. If you're looking for a dish that feels heavenly, I highly recommend the eggplant parmesan; it's divine! The Italian feast for two is another favorite of mine, and the garlic rolls are simply delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting. They even sell their own balsamic dressing—it's so good that you'll want to resist the urge to drink it straight! The staff is always a pleasure to deal with, and if I ever have to wait, it's always worthwhile. This truly feels like a family restaurant; you get that cozy vibe the moment you walk in and it stays with you until you pay and leave. Stallone’s has become a staple for my family, whether it’s for celebrations, holidays, or just a casual lunch. I highly recommend it!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"Loved it here! It was dimly lit due to the candles and twinkly lights but it made it very romantic. The food was delicious and so was the wine. My fiancé wasn’t happy with the cook on his steak, so the owner came over and had a new one made to perfection for him! So the service is impeccable as well, definitely worth a visit!"

"I travel frequently for work and am an IHG Diamond Elite member. I recently dined at the sports bar and was surprised to see the owner behind the bar. He seemed to be confused when a customer left after looking at the menu on the table, leading him to assume they were paying in cash. The prices on the menu were much higher than what was listed on their website, and the selection was limited. I won't be returning to eat or stay at this hotel again. It's a shame, as the service could definitely use improvement. Perhaps the owner and his team need to reconsider their pricing and menu options."

"We love going to Chickie’s, we go often as we enjoy the food and watching Philly games on the giant screens. We often order the mussels but last night they were very gritty. It happens very rarely but it happened last night. The mussels were huge but 12 didn’t open and were inedible. We sat at one of the tables that doesn’t allow for good game watching so that was disappointing too. But we’ll go back!"

"We visited this restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and pleasant, and the food was of high quality. Every dish we ordered was fresh and delicious. We tried their pancakes and croissant sandwiches, which were made to order and did not disappoint. Some of us also enjoyed hot chocolate and chai tea lattes, which were both delicious. They offer a variety of freshly baked goods that are all worth trying. Overall, we found the prices to be reasonable for the quality of the food and service."

"After eating here a few times, I have concluded that the food is way too expensive for what you’re getting. The food had arrived cold. Not satisfied, not worth it.I ordered an omelette and it looks like they used a dozen eggs to make the omelette, which probably explains the price. I felt like I was served an egg cake, I couldn’t even finish it. Bacon was hard and cold.I will say that the macarons are delicious and they are the only reason I gave 2 stars. Box of 6 for $13… might just get them elsewhere.I really wanted to like this place, it looks so cute, the baked goods look delicious, and the location is perfect. However, they are lacking taste and are very overpriced."

"Fantastic food! You absolutely must try the turkey bacon club or the Cajun chicken pasta; you won’t be disappointed! The only downside is the parking situation and the slot machines. They allow people to 'reserve' machines by leaving a few cents on them and putting up a sign, but meanwhile, those individuals are just sitting at the bar drinking. During my 45-minute visit, 4 out of the 6 machines had reserved signs, and not a single one was being played. At one point, someone asked if they could use one of the machines, and the group at the bar responded that they were 'on' it."

"I got married nearby at Stamford Museum Nature Center at the end of September and I wanted to make sure we had breakfast and lunch taken care of for the bridal party. I called a few days ahead to put in orders for about 8 people and the owner Fafar was so enthusiastic to help out in any way with my wedding, it was so sweet! My dad picked up the food for us in two orders, and she was so helpful and kind to him. All my food had little notes for me to enjoy my day and everything we got was hot, fresh and delicious. Nothing better than food made with love, highly recommend."

"I enjoy the food when I was able to pick it up. Deliveries are sketchy. I ordered with my coworkers for breakfast. The driver was unable to locate the building 3 blocks over. I told him I was on the clock too and could not stand outside guiding him foras long as it was taking him. I told him I needed to go back and asked if I should cancel the order. He called me names and toldme to cancel the order. Focaccia?s refused to refund me and told me I needed to call the driver to cancel the order. I only gave1 star because 0 stars was not an option. The manager ?Ben? actually seemed to get less respectful with my speech impediment.Good food doesn?t come from nasty attitudes."

"We just had our wedding this past weekend at The Lighthouse Sound Restaurant. I can’t rave about this place enough. The venue is breathtaking. We got married in their gazebo that had a beautiful backdrop of the bay and Ocean City. The sunset there is also picture perfect! The inside is just as beautiful with huge chandeliers and a romantic fireplace. The wedding coordinator, Lauren, was so professional, very attentive, and helped me every step of the way with planning a wedding, especially through COVID. She really helped us plan and work through all the regulations to make our wedding perfect for myself and our guest. Her and the staff were truly amazing. The food was probably the best food I’ve had and I have had almost all of my guest say it was the best wedding they’ve attended. They’ve said the food was delicious and compliment the staff on their kindness and attentiveness. We definitely be coming back to visit this gorgeous place for lunch or dinner! They really made me and my husbands wedding so special! We can not wait to see our pictures!!"

"The experience was decent, though not extraordinary. The restaurant was quite loud and a bit chaotic, even though it wasn't very crowded. Our server was friendly and attentive, which was a plus. The prices seemed reasonable. We kept our order simple, but the Philly cheesesteak was rather mediocre and lacked flavor. As for the crab fries, they were underwhelming—just fries topped with Old Bay seasoning and an oddly flavored cheese sauce."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."
