"Good place for a family dinner, food is good but nothing fancy. Our server kept forgetting to bring things we ordered, took minutes to get our drinks. No plates or utensils were given, had to ask for it. Food was served in a weird order, had minutes to eat one salad, while appetizers and main course was served together minuter after we arrived. Felt a bit rushed to leave as our server asked if we’re done yet and if need boxes, while we were still eating. Don’t feel that I will visit this place again."

"My family and I visited the restaurant on New Year's Day in 2024 between 4-6pm. Our waitress and the rest of the wait staff were fantastic, and the food was excellent. However, the kitchen manager, who appeared to be a shorter, grey-haired gentleman, was incredibly obnoxious and irritating. He was constantly micromanaging his staff in the open kitchen, loudly reading off orders and demanding things immediately. It made for an unpleasant dining experience, especially considering the restaurant was not overly busy. I felt sorry for the staff who were clearly working hard and couldn't cook any faster than the kitchen equipment allowed. If the kitchen manager continues to harass his employees who are already doing their jobs, it's likely that many of them will quit."

"My SO declared, This is the best Bertucci 's we 've been to. The pizzas were cooked to perfection with a crisp crust. The Caesar salad was crunchy with a zesty, creamy dressing. We all agreed Isaiah was an excellent server. He brought warm rolls, olive oil, and butter immediately and the kids dug right in. He was patient while the family decided among the many toppings. We finally chose mushroom, eggplant, and artichokes on one and a combination of Sporkie and meatball on the other. The girls were impressed that Isaiah carried both large pizzas at the same time. He checked back several times to see if we needed more rolls, water, or napkins. Eating out with three young children can be unpredictable; we had a fun evening thanks to the casual atmosphere and friendly, attentive service."

"Waitress came over to take our drink order. How much was fine brought us bread and to dirty plates? Mention the plates to our waitress and told the store manager. Store manager was very apologetic. And said that he would Compass our appetizer. Which was fine. However, the plates they brought us for a appetizer. We're dirty as well. Dirty, as I said, you could see residual oil and they blamed it on the dishwasher. Pizza was undercooked. Didn't want to send it back because it just turned out to be a poor. Dining experience. Hi de Bertucci's all the time. However, this was the worst experience I've ever had. ."

"Flew 3,000 miles to try out the famed Bertucci’s and was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. Steve at the bar makes you feel like you’re at a five star restaurant while simultaneously at your Nonna’s dinner table at the same time. "Very good pizza right from the wood stove. Large slightly sweet crust, slightly carburized at the ends. I'd say they should cut their mushrooms thinner. The whole other vegetables were not cooked completely enough (like the pizza cooked so quickly in the oven). The marinara sauce (has it with ravioli that were full of fresh ricotta) they use is as bright red as you see and full of (I take on San Marzano) crumb tomatoes. Very high quality ingredients here. The sausage and pepper cream was incredible. These and many other foods, including roasted vegetables, are cooked in their oven. There's an incredible fired taste. The Happy Hour menu also has great selection at reasonable prices. Incredible specialties including 2 for 1 pizza on Monday and 2 for 1 pasta dishes on Tuesday! Very happy with Bertuccis."

"The owner travels across Europe to find unique wines that you won't find anywhere else. I tried a glass of an almost-extinct super dry white wine, Vietti Arneis, from Piedmont, and it was fantastic! I can't even begin to describe how amazing their complimentary garlic bread was. It’s made fresh and served so hot that we couldn’t even tear it apart for a video! Drizzled with garlic olive oil and herbs and stuffed with creamy mascarpone, it featured a crispy bottom and soft, fluffy brioche. Gussie's Sunday dinner is a steal at $39 and includes your choice of soup or salad (we had the delicious bean soup), Grandma Gussie’s signature lasagna, and house wine. The lasagna, made with fresh pasta and a white béchamel sauce, was soft and airy, filled with well-seasoned, perfectly browned meat. So good! We also tried the Tagliatelle Arrabiata, which was our server's recommendation. It had a nice kick from the chili and fresh tomato sauce, complemented by fresh tagliatelle. We added Italian sausage, which was smoky and seasoned beautifully. I’m already looking forward to coming back for their tiramisu! Gussie's is located right across from the Second City (we visited at 5:30 before our 7 PM show), at 227 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60610. Make sure to book a reservation on @exploretock. They generally open from 5 PM to 9 PM (til 10 PM on weekends) and are closed on Mondays."

"Customer service was HORRIBLE ! The guy at the front end with medium brown hair I believe his name is JOE was absolutely RUDE and appeared to be under the influence. When complained to the manager he didn’t even let me finish my complaint he literally said “ yeah I know talk to the guy in the front” which was JOE. Thankfully another customer saw what was happening and said something in my favor. Shortly after that as I’m leaving I see the guy JOE out on the side smoking. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I think the staff is a reflection of the manager which is careless for customer service and the way he handles customers complaints. If you want to have a nice night out DO NOT GO HERE FOR THAT!"

"Nice parking lot off Chelmsford center, easy to get to. The atmosphere looked nice with a larger wood fired stove and lots of acalible seats. The service was fast as our order was ready on time. The pizza toppings looked a bit thin, as was the cheese on the pizza. The crust was the major focus of the pizza. I prefer places with more toppings and cheese. The spaghetti dinner was OK, I had the meat sauce. I found it less tasty than competition, and the meat sauce was more tomato flavored. But I would not get the spaghetti again. I had planned to eat a Hawaiian pizza. It was on the menu a few days ago when I planned to take it out. But upon ordering, it was not available. Overall, I was not impressed. This was the second time I ate here, but it has been a lot of time since my last visit, and now I know why as I did no prefer this style of pizza. The Tucson wings were the best item we ordered. They were hot and crispy with just enough spice. I would get the wings again. Oh and the dinner rolls were also very yummy with oil to dip your bread into."

"I just had a wonderful late lunch at Bertuccis with Marie as our Server. The place was pretty empty. Marie paid plenty attention to our needs. She said what I was planning on ordering was delicious so I got it and she was correct. I’ve never eaten here before but I will be back for sure. From the bread on the table with the oil, to the salads and pasta dishes, everything was wonderful. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was very clean. I just had such a great experience with Marie as our server. I can’t wait to come back and have lunch (or dinner) here again."

"Where to start...? Kitchen service was slow, took 45 minutes to get our meals. One of our party ordered a calzone with sausage, bacon and pepperoni but received a vegetable calzone instead. I never received silverware or a napkin. Meal was overpriced, $115 for six people for lunch. Should have gone to Unos!"

"Had a family reunion here at Bertucci's in Peabody the beginning of February in the private room. The event coordinator, Susan was extremely helpful and flexible which made it it very easy for us to plan. Although a bit short staffed on that Saturday night our waitress Tracy could not have been more accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. "Terrible. Assistant manager was unbelievably rude and condescending. Understandably they were short staffed but she was so stressed that she was ineffective and grating. The other staff tried their best to make up for her poor behavior. After an hour of waiting , we asked for a timeline and she told us our order just went in. Ten minutes later, she and staff brought someone else’s order . When we told her it wasn’t ours, she rolled her eyes. When the food finally came it was mediocre. Not a big issue with the waiting it was her behavior that was abhorrent. Won’t go there again. Will do take out for their rolls."

"My son organized a big birthday dinner for me at Theresa's based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food, but he was too preoccupied with the party to notice. My daughter-in-law, who only eats salads, did have a decent one that evening. She usually chooses where we celebrate Easter, and the location changes each year. I'm not sure why she picked Theresa's this time, but I just attend as their guest. On Easter Sunday, there were no specialty salads; instead, we had a fixed menu, which was frankly unappetizing—everything was subpar. We definitely won't be returning. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the marinara sauce for dipping. They should be embarrassed to serve such a disappointing selection of dishes!"

"I used to eat at Bertucci's often when I was a student at MIT, in the late 80s. I recently visited Cambridge and wanted to walk down the memory lane, so we dined at Bertucci's. The experience was disappointing. The interior looked neglected and dingy. There were many dirty tables, and the floor looked discolored and filthy. I ordered a sausage/pepper calzone; it was barely warm inside, and the dough was undercooked... disaster. I will not be returning. I do miss the old Bertucci's... what a shame."

"We had a group of 14 and the restaurant took great care of us. The waitress was fantastic! The pizza, mac and cheese, and shrimp fettuccine were all wonderful. However, four people were disappointed with the chicken parmesan due to the chicken and pasta being overcooked. So, I’d suggest steering clear of that dish. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place!"
