"My son and I were in town from Pa. for an ice hockey tournament and stopped in to get dinner. Had the honor of speak with the owner who was extremely friendly. He takes great pride in the food he serves and it shows through. The pizza was perfect, the dough was light and crispy! The sauce had great flavor and the cheese was just as good. Not an oil slick on top. No doubt the next time I'm in town I'll have to try the cheese steak. All the best to you all at Angelina's from the City of Brotherly Love!"

"Great food and service. My prime pork chop was cooked perfectly and the asparagus a little on the crunchy side but flavorful. My wife loved her Penne aka vodka and had plenty to take home. I also took half of my pork chop home and had it for lunch thenext day. Still tasty! The tiramisu and crème brûlée were both fresh and tasty. The meal, dessert and two drinks cost $104without tip. Pricey but worth it for the whole experience."

"I can’t say enough good things about Brandos… The food is absolutely delicious!! one of the best Italian restaurants locally. The ambience is great, noise level is low, and the desserts are amazing!!However, our experience last night was somewhat ruined by our waiter. Giuseppe. The temperature in the restaurant was so cold! I totally understand that restaurants run on the cold side (I was prepared with a jacket, as I always am) but this was UNCOMFORTABLY cold!! We mentioned it to him, and he kind of just shrugged at us, staying there was nothing that could be done. After that every time he came to the table, he made a remark about us being cold. Almost to the point that he was mocking us!! It was really very rude. And I did tell him that at the end. He made a joke of it and said he was trying to make us laugh, but in reality he was dismissing us and actually making fun of us! It was quite a rude experience from him!! Twice in the past month I have dined there and have had Vlad as our waiter. He was lovely and deserves a raise because he always goes above and beyond. The gentleman we had last night, Gieuseppe, well maybe it’s time for him to retire!!!"

"Awkward when one of your party (the host receives his meal a full minutes before the rest of the group. The server did not explain, so I had to ask. He said it was not his fault. There are "stations" for the different meals, and the lasagna station entree was ready but the piccata and marsala stations were behind. Bolognese station was late, too. Thanks for the explanation, but I felt awkward. It would have been better if we'd even seen the waiter between receiving our wine and the super-late-and-mistimed meal, but we did not. the food was hot, delicious and plentiful. It would have been nice to have had bread for the table, but did not figure out how this worked. was I supposed to order? In short, the service was really sub-par, the food was "over-par and bottom line, will be back for sure"

"Was here for dinner with my friends. It was 4 of us. They included 20% of gratuity without even asking. At first it was 22% and we were mad. Waiter told us that the owner makes them do this. Not sure if that’s true. He then went back and changed it to20%. It didn’t say anywhere on the menu about it. Gratuity is usually included for 6 people or more and normally is18% Needless to say, we’re never coming back here. Also service wasn’t exceptional. Food was good and quiet honestly wewould’ve probably tipped 20% or more anyway but the fact they did that was insane. I’ve been in Astoria for 7 years now andthis has never happened to me before."

"This was a very fun place near Drexel and UPenn, with a fun college vibe. There aren't many places like that which also serve good, sit down Italian food. Our server was quite good and the food came quickly. We made reservations through their website asit was for a Saturday prime time dinner. Appetizers/salads were a little pricy, but the entrees were quite reasonably pricedwith large portions. I wish we had space for dessert!"

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"Can you say, "dropped the ball" Normally love this place for good food, easy BYO, accessible location;...this weekend, not so much. Took a moderately large group for a birthday dinner...and it became pretty apparent the current staff can't handle the load. If you're going with people, and you're having pizza and salad, all good. BUT...if you have a larger group, and order an array of entrees, you could run into trouble. We did We had chicken entrees that had to be sent back twice as the chicken was still ****. If you know chicken, you know this is a bad thing. Even simpler things...a straightforward pasta dish for the birthday girl...took so long that all other entrees were out and eaten before she got hers The good news was that the server was great but it's really tough for a server to make up for a misfiring kitchen staff. Hopefully, it will get better.."

"Let me start by saying sadly there are no pics because this was dinner with my boss and fellow coworkers so I had to suppress the Yelper in me and not hold up the festivities by snapping photos of everyone's dish before they tucked in. The dishes looked good though yall! I loved the ambience at Toscana but it was really dark. You may need to use your camera flashlight and for that I did deduct a star. Other than that, service was on point and the meal was delicious. We started with appetizers for the table. Bruschetta, Arancini, Stuffed Mushrooms and Calamari. The Calamari included shrimp and zucchini which were nice additions. I chose the Sicilian Duck (duck a l'orange). It came with a nice crispy skin and pink center accompanied by asparagus and rosemary potatoes. The potatoes were a tad salty. Other dishes were the Terracotta Chicken that was reported to be moist and well seasoned, the Champagne Pear Sacchette which I sampled and found delightfully light and delicious and the steak on their weekly specials menu. We finished with assorted desserts. I shared a Crème Brûlée and the charred topping was perfect. Loved that. I highly recommend."

For the cost $120 for two people for a lunch and 2 drinks I can't see going back after being grossed out by the dirty plates and glasses. Also I did notice they had a pretty good whiskey selection including Jefferson Ocean. So pros and cons on this review. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. Not so much vegan friendly. Dietary restrictions: Not great if you're on keto. Parking: Parking was easy in the day and would assume it would be even better later as the offices clear out. "We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we signed up to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"The hostess was rude and unwelcoming, making for a really unpleasant experience. Despite having made a reservation two weeks in advance for a birthday dinner, we were seated at the bar. The beet salad was inedible, and my sister was not impressed with her special asparagus appetizer, describing it as unnecessary. On a positive note, my bucatini with tomatoes and basil was tasty, and my sister enjoyed the rigatoni vodka. However, my mother's friend was let down by the veal Milanese. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I rarely write reviews, as I dine out frequently, but we definitely should have chosen Basil Ts in Red Bank instead. So much for trying a new restaurant."
