"Nuovo was a first for my wife and I. We were celebrating our 2nd anniversary. When we came in we were not really sure where to go and when we finally got to the greeters area there was no one there. My wife and I were standing there wondering if we’d be seated or if we were going to pick a table ourselves, we even contemplated on leaving and walking down to another restaurant down the street. About 10 minutes of awkward standing and a greeter helped us to our table. Our waitress was really nice and attentive despite her being new there. The food was great! The calamari however was a bit small for the price but overall the price of everything else was fair. We even got a complimentary salad. My wife and I had a good experience except for the beginning of it. Not too noisy and not too upscale either (we overdressed). I wish, for it being a reservation for an anniversary, that we were seated with a view to the street but that just comes down to preference."
