"We were seated toward the back, and our server was attentive initially, but once our orders were delivered, she became practically absent. I kept it simple with an egg breakfast accompanied by some meat and potatoes, while the second order was biscuits and gravy. The coffee was hot and fresh, and Diet Coke was the other drink we ordered.
The food was served promptly, and the eggs were surprisingly good, but it’s hard to mess up breakfast. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were terrible. The biscuits, which seemed homemade, were raw on the inside, and the gravy had little flavor. Since our server didn’t return until fifteen minutes after we were served, I didn’t even have the chance to voice my complaint. There were no offers for coffee or soda refills either.
Honestly, the place is showing its age, and with so many dining options in the area, I will be crossing this diner off my list of places to visit."
