"One of my lists that I should do since moving to the area was to find a way to the Mexican restaurant and I think my search is over. Mazatlan was in my target area and I and the children decided to review it. The reviews that left the cartridges seemed promising, so we wanted to experience the restaurant for ourselves. We were greeted by a nice Spanish speaking lady and she brought us to a beautiful table in the direction of the back corner of the restaurant. The area was not so busy and we had our beautiful little cozy private place, The decor was really nice, colorful, many colorful tiles and colors decorated the walls with this funny looking decor. We got some beautiful, freshly made tortilla chips along with fried bean dump and a salsa on the side. It was a pleasure to have 2 different things to immerse our chips. The chips were an immediate hit that didn't last long until we finished the bowl when the lady came back and asked us if we wanted more and we said yes. She knew we were enjoying the chips and it was nice to have before our entrees came out. For our drinks we went around with Horchatas and I tell you the Horchatas came in large plastic coke-labeled glasses. Great Horchatas. Wow! When the lady came back with our menus, the children were overwhelmed and excited to see many decisions from the menu. What really impressed my son was that he never saw Steak shrimp offered on the same plate (like a surfing and lawn) that was a pleasure to see. It was a hard decision to make, but he chose the Carnitas plate when he saw the photo on the lower corner of the menu. That's what my eye got and we both ordered the same thing. My daughters went to Chile Verde and Enchilladas. Our eyes even glowed wider when our plates came out of food, I mean LOTS!! They were made in round, ceramic bowl/dish and hot from the oven. My son enjoyed how creamy the fried beans were and I enjoyed the Carnitas meat nice, tender, but the bomb was the sauce that came with the meat it was a lemon Salsa Art Sauce that watched the Carnitas. You must immerse the meat in this!! My daughters enjoyed both their Enchiladas and Chile Verde all delicious. We were served so much food that we had no room for our appetizers. Of course, the highlight of dinner must be the left overs that we bring home and continue to enjoy for lunch of tomorrow. Friendly waiters, very attentive and always ask if you need more water and check for you. Great customer service and they feel at home, we really enjoyed our dinner tonight and what a great first impression!!"
