"This restaurant offered surprisingly delicious food, but I wasn't a fan of how they made a chocolate shake by simply adding chocolate syrup to vanilla ice cream, which was clearly the case here. The menu was extensive, making it difficult for me to decide what to order. The decor was charming, fitting the theme of a 50s diner, although the country music playing over the speakers didn't quite match the atmosphere they were trying to create. One thing to note is that the restroom is located on the gas station side, which you have to access separately. When I visited, all the blinds were closed, making the place feel a bit too dim. While they could improve on cleanliness, I will definitely return for the excellent food—just avoid the iced tea. It’s best to skip that."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Management was very attentive to our requests. They originally put us (2 people) at a very small table. When I mentioned it, the manager immediately brought over another table and put it next to ours. Great customer service. I had one complaint or a suggestion. Maybe the person assigned to clear the tables should wait a few minutes before snatching the dishes and flatware off of the table. I felt like I was being rushed. I swear I had not finished chewing my ravioli and the guy came over to clear the table, including taking my fires that me and guest were still eating. But overall, I gave the whole experience a 5 out of 5. We will be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I 've been wanting to try Toulouse forever! My husband and I came here for a date night on a Thursday evening. I ordered a lobster roll and he had the beef bourginon, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed! My only nitpicky thing about my lobster rollwas that there was too much coleslaw on top but otherwise, still tasted great. We decided to skip appetizers but they give youwarm sliced bread with butter, which was good too. The butter had extra salt, which I liked but I know some people might not sojust a head 's up there. For dessert, we shared the apple tart. It was slightly burnt on the edges but not bad at all! We sat inthe climate-controlled patio area (I use air quotes because it is sealed off so you 're not actually outside). The seats inthat area were light and cool to sit on."

"When I relocated here just a year ago, my sister recommended this restaurant to me. I decided to give Johnny Pamcakes a try, and I loved it! They offer quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food. However, I did notice one downside: the server had a food tray held up to her face, causing her hair to brush against the customers' meals. That’s not acceptable in food service."

"As for the food, I have enjoyed everything I've tried here. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The breakfast California quesadilla is fantastic, filled with scrambled eggs, avocado, mushrooms, cheese, and tomato, served on a flour tortilla with pico de gallo, sour cream, and fresh fruit on the side. I order mine without bacon and it is still delicious! The Eggs Benedict is also a must-try. They offer a "beach bod" section on their menu with low-calorie and vegan options. Don't forget to pair your brunch with a coffee, mimosa, or juice - or all three!"

"Morris county is home to some of the best diners in NJ, including, but not limited to, the Jefferson diner (which appeared on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives), the Hibernia diner, the Morristown Diner, the Randolph diner, the Roxbury diner, the Whippany diner, and Paul’s family diner. My personal favorite is the Budd Lake diner. It’s full of old school charm and the new owners, who happen to be my neighbors down the block from where I live, have got it running better than ever. I’ve had just about everything under the sun at this place from breakfast skillets, to burgers, to pasta, and even a really well executed cowboy steak with crab stuffed mushrooms. The food here is excellent and the hospitality is even better. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat in the Hackettstown-Mount Olive area."

"We had a wonderful meal here! My friend's Eggs Benedict (medium, with ham) was absolutely perfect. I had the green chili burrito for breakfast, and while it wasn't exactly green chili, the paprika was surprisingly tender. It was a first for me to see paprika instead of Anaheim peppers! I also loved the etched metal artworks in the restaurant. The food was clean and delicious, and our server, Zoe, was superb. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"I visited this restaurant hoping for a hearty breakfast, but my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a somewhat unfriendly person, who turned out to be the owner. We sat ourselves as instructed and waited at least five minutes for a menu. During this time, the owner spent about ten minutes chatting with regular customers at a nearby table while we waited to place our order. I was particularly eager for coffee, but it took quite a while to get anything. There was also a concerning situation outside, where a possibly homeless individual with a dog lingered nearby. When they eventually moved on, it was hard to ignore the urine-stained area where we had chosen to eat outside. A note to anyone considering this restaurant: dining indoors might be a better option. As for the food, it was disappointing; much of it seemed undercooked, yet it was smothered in cheese sauce. Ultimately, we left feeling unsatisfied and hungry."

"We showed up on time for our reservation. We waited over half an hour and weren't seated. What's the point of making a reservation? To make things worse, when reserving a table, this restaurant requires you enter a credit card, presumably to charge you if you don't show up or show up late. But when they are so late that if forces you to go somewhere else, they don't offer any compensation or even an apology. Won't ever go back. (While we were waiting, another party was seated and then 15 minutes went by before a waiter showed up to their table, and another table got their food and it was wrong and had to be sent back."

"They offer a spacious outdoor seating area adorned with plants, giving it a pleasant atmosphere rather than just a parking lot. "My husband enjoyed his one-egg breakfast, praising the bacon for being cooked just the way he likes it. I took on Cahill's famous cinnamon roll and ended up devouring the whole thing! While it had a bit more frosting than I prefer, I couldn’t resist savoring every last bite. Trust me, even if you take one to go, you must experience this indulgent delight! Though our time in Danville was short, I can confidently say that Cahill's is a hidden gem!"
