"Despite the pandemic causing a decrease in business, the restaurant remains well-maintained and the servers are friendly. The food is top-notch and I have never had a less than perfect meal here. My wife and I dined at the restaurant on Tuesday and I ordered the carne asada cooked to medium perfection. It was tender and delicious."

"How this place is still in business really baffles me. The salsa tasted like water, chicken strips smelled awful and tasted like fish, the service is non existent and when we told our server that we don't want the chicken because of the odor, she still charged us. The prices on the bill did not match the prices on the menu. They are in a lucky location being next to a hospital or else they would be long gone."

"I am a fan of the Mission Taco locations, and this one is nice because I often can take advantage of their late hours and late night Taco Happy hour after catching a movie with friends at the theater also located in the Streets of St. Charles. They offer modern Mexican inspired food, with vegan options such as the soft taco, made with Impossible burger, vegan cheese, lettuce, and tomato; as well as an Impossible burger based burrito. These are good options, and I appreciate them, although they used to have completely different tofu based options that I miss. (Vegan taco made with mofu tofu, fried onions, arugula and the New Years Resolution burrito with quinoa, beans, tofu). While it is disappointing that they changed their menu, the Impossible tacos are still decent and it's still a great place to hang out and have food/drinks with friends. I frequent this location, as well as others frequently."

"steve’s rib used to be my favorite for big bbq and good service. my burger and the side of the maise were hardly warm. no butter for the mais, so I asked the bartender for butter. minutes pass and taylor the barkeeper has spoken all the time with the only other customer at the bar. I went ahead and pulled my mais dish from my teller and to the bar dish, where she goes her empty. taylor goes shopping times and finally comes back with butter. I let him know that I am not doing the butter now, because my meal is ready and the mais is completely cold. he's throwing the mais out. no adjustment to the ticket or confirmation of insult. poor service along with moderate eating will sink this joint! don't waste your money. I'm not going back."

"How is this place still in business? Tonight, after the Giants game, our group wanted some appetizers and margaritas, so we decided to head back to Pleasanton instead of staying in the city. Their website said they were open until 10 PM, but when we arrived at 8:45 PM, there was only one group inside, and the doors were locked. When a staff member walked by, I tapped on the glass and asked if they were really closed. He responded with a cutting gesture. I understand the food is only average, but come on, at least do something right. If you’re closing early, the least you could do is update your website! We ended up going to Sultan Kebab, which has much better food, although they don’t serve margaritas. Step it up, Mexico Lindo, or consider selling to someone who will!"

"I’m on a quest to find the best chimichanga in Arizona, if not the world, and my quest led me to Master Taco in Tempe on Cinco de Mayo 2023.I was pleased to find that my bean and cheese chimi was cheaper than their meat-filled options. Sometimes places charge the same price regardless of the filling. I did ask if they could do a birria chimichanga (the menu said it comes with your choice of meat) but the cashier lady denied me that option. Bust.Regardless, I was quite tickled with my chimi when I opened up the to-go box. Inside was a very large chimichanga covered with cheese, with a plentiful amount of lettuce and diced tomato and fresh sour cream and guacamole.On my universal 13 point scale of chimichanga deliciousness, this chimi scored a very strong 11 out of 13. The tortilla was nicely fried, not super crispy, but not soggy, neither. The freshness of the veggies was great, although the lack of a traditional pico de gallo was a little bit of a bummer. I was definitely missing the crunch and bite of the white onion, and the absence of onion and cilantro meant there was a depth of flavor that was obviously lacking.If a tried and true pico was available, this chimi could easily be a 12 out of 13, and one of the best chimichangas in Arizona. I’ll definitely be back for another try, and I’ll post updates when I do. I’ll ask again about the birria option, and see if they have pico de gallo to complete this masterpiece."

"I had my doubts due to some recent reviews, but we decided to give this place a try, and we weren't disappointed. The drinks and salsa were fantastic, and while the food was a bit pricey, I think it was worth it. I ordered the Michelada, and it was exceptional with a nice kick—highly recommend it! The service was good; there weren't many people there when we visited, so I'm not sure how busy they usually get, but our waitress made an effort to check on us frequently."

"If I could give six stars to Mangos Mexican Cafe I would. The food is to die for. My wife had the two taco combo with soft tacos and shrimp. I had the crispy taco (shredded beef) and cheese enchilada combo. We swung into the Cafe after going to the Idea Museum with our two year old. And boy o' boy we can't wait to go back. Every single bite was out of this world. The service was amazing. But I can't say enough about the food. Literally the best Mexican food we've had outside of Mexico. We will be back and we will for sure tell anyone who will listen to go check out this amazing restaurant. We also ordered the chips and salsa and my son had the cheese quesadilla and I was so glad he was full of snacks because I got to eat that too. I'll have dreams of their cheese enchilada, it was amazing, a pure joy in every bite. Thank you Mangos Mexican Cafe, you have perfected your craft. Well done!"

"There 's nothing like the convenience of placing an order for delivery when you have a full day. I scrolled pass countless restaurants and at least 4 Yelp reviews of other Mexican restaurants before I ordered here. The biggest reason I ordered here were the flautas and that a combination plate with rice and beans were an option. So how did it taste? Flautas coming in hot is always something I appreciate. The options in the app were for a red sauce or green sauce, no sauce came. There was an option to remove the guacamole and the sour cream which I selected no to both on my order. The portion size was great, they remembered my extra pico I order but I 'm not a fan of sour cream or guacamole. If you 're in the mood for a Mexican diner this is not a bad option. You might need to call in to over communicate any specific requests."

"My husband ordered a carnitas burrito with no onions, but when the food arrived, it was loaded with onions. I returned the burrito to the cook and reminded him that my husband specifically asked for no onions. He acknowledged me, but when my husband picked it up again, it was still filled with onions and even cilantro. I communicated in Spanish, so it wasn't a language barrier issue. I had to go back a third time, and this time the cook appeared angry. He snatched the food and threw it in the trash. By this point, my husband was done with it and requested a refund. The cook, still upset, began cursing under his breath. This is not the way customers should be treated. I've been coming to this Campos Tacos for years, but unfortunately, the new staff lacks patience and listening skills. I'm sorry, but I won’t be returning. This was truly the worst experience ever."
