Hall has been on our list of places to try for quite some time, and we finally visited a few days ago. Unfortunately, our experience fell short mainly due to the service. We were the only customers in the restaurant and opted to sit at the bar. The bartender didn't make any effort to welcome us and largely ignored us after we placed our orders. Initially, we thought he might just be having a rough day, but he seemed to perk up and act more friendly whenever other staff members were around. This made us feel unwelcome throughout our time there. Given that cocktails here are priced over $20, we were expecting attentive service, especially at the bar.
On a positive note, the food was enjoyable; we tried the classic burgers. However, the restaurant does not inquire about how you would like your meat cooked. My boyfriend’s burger came out medium, while mine was medium well (I had ordered medium rare). There are plenty of great burger spots in the area, so we don’t plan on returning to Hall."
