"As someone who isn’t from the STL area, finding good Saint Louis-style Chinese food has been a challenge since I moved here. Most places serve dishes that are overly sweet. Emperor China, however, offers the first genuinely tasty American Chinese food I’ve had in about three years. I ordered black pepper chicken and pork lo mein—my usual test dishes when trying a new place—and for the first time, the flavors were truly savory and well-balanced. If the quality on their menu stays consistent, Emperor China will definitely become my new favorite restaurant."
