"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"First of all, La Pergola been a go to restaurant in our town for my family. Second, my Dad had passed this passed Sunday. Anyone who has gone through a sudden passing of a loved one know your mind is going 1000 miles per hour. So I called La Pergola as I knew my Dad would want a celebration of life reception post is Funeral Mass service. Within two hours I had La Pergola booked and the owners set up the most wonderful reception for my dearly departed father and his entire family. The restaurant was perfectly located for us and the food was soooo good everybody raved. And my family has strong opinions. : From the family style served appetizers and salads, to a very nice choice of entrees', right through dessert, EVERYTHING was perfect! A perfect afternoon which allowed us to grieve, laugh and love the memories of my Dad. Thank you La Pergola for hosting this most special event in such a short time. "Not happy to have a mandatory service charge added to the bill which they then charged sales tax over. I am generally leaving more than these days but this turned me off. I mentioned it to a manager who told me the owner insists on this and then just turned and walked away. Don’t think we’ll be back the food was ok as was the service but the attitude was a big turn off"

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"Excellent about the details. Roommate and I are industry workers in the City so take that as it is, we are very forgiving but harder to impress I think. Portions are shockingly large and the food is top-notch. Simple and short menu, everything 's executed perfectly. Pricing is super reasonable, we shared 3 first/app courses, a pasta, and a dessert, and got a very tasty and well-priced bottle of wine (very reasonable, about a 2x markup from retail) and two afterdinner pours (1 fernet, 1 port), tab $205 before tip. Bread was amazing, and I took solid pasta leftovers home to our other roomie. We left pretty stuffed. Octopus with beans was absolutely delicious, smoky and earthy and tomato-y. Carpaccio was salty and rich and spicy from the arugula. Gnocchi was creamy and fresh with the peas green beans, could have used a tad more salt acid but not enough to make it unlovable. Pappardelle was perfectly executed and sticky toffee pudding was phenomenal. Space is perfect. So many nice touches that are so subtle to help everything go smoothly. Comfortable, casual-fancy, not too loud, very ... easy. Service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We felt welcomed and cared for, and the food was just divine. Qotn: this pasta......it tastes like...home. like home feels. Like grandma, and comfort, and happiness. Yep...that 's it."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"I love this place. Love the ambience and the food. I am not a pizza fan but really love pizzas here. Menu is really small but everything taste great. I took off a star because of two reasons. First the server was little annoying, asking to order assoon as we got the menu and then after every minute. Restaurant was half empty as I went for a lunch on a weekday. I didn?t havethis experience with other servers, this one may be still under training. I will give her this doubt. Second, more annoying is 20% gratuity is already added to the bill. I don?t mind tipping this percentage but forced charge doesn?t sit well. Location isgreat as it?s right in the middle of Santana Row. Parking is available at 5 mins walk in the parking garage at Santana Row."

"I have been to this restaurant several times and tonight's meal was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I were both so engrossed in our delicious food that we hardly spoke during the meal. I ordered the seafood linguini special and my partner had the chicken and mozzarella dish. We also enjoyed the tasty appetizers with flavorful broth topped with parmesan. Although we were too full for dessert, we plan to try the tiramisu next time we visit. The service was excellent as well. We can't wait to return!"

"Excellent ! We loved the food and drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler starter plate, mantoo, a vegetarian plate and beef kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were plentiful but not huge and had distinctive, balanced flavors. "This is a nice restaurant. Waiter service was good and efficient even though the restaurant was full. We had the three course meal tied to preferred seating for World of Colour. Dinner cost USD 59 per person, plus tax and tip. Starter was either house salad or soup of the day which was minestrone soup. I had the house salad which was tasty, and both sweet and sour. The sour taste was due to vinegar while the sweet taste was provided by sweet strawberries and a pink salad dressing. A few choices were available for the main course, but there was a USD 10 additional charge for steak. I had pan fried salmon for my main course which was tasty and cooked well. The boiled potatoes were also tasty and not too soft. However, the rocket salad did not go with the rest of the dish. It was slightly bitter. Dessert was tiramisu. There was no choice here. The tiramisu did not have any brandy in it, and was served with chocolate sauce and chocolate flakes plus a thick layer of chocolate powder, plus strawberry and a biscotti biscuit with hard icing a strange combination with tiramisu, but I enjoyed it. Shame about the lack of brandy which would have enhanced the taste of the tiramisu. Soda or tea was included in the price of the drink."

"Tarasque is a great place to try out and then go back over and over again. They serve a rotating menu that changes every so often (every week? so make sure to check out their Instagram to keep up to date with their freshest dishes. Of course they also serve some staple dishes, certain salads and pastas. While we were there we ordered the Gnudi with pearl onions and criminology mushrooms in basil cream sauce, Amberjack over herbed white beans and spinach in cream, zaatar spiced cucumber and basil salad, and a rigatoni with homemade sausage, onions, bell peppers, and pecorino. Let me tell you, there are some mighty fine chefs in Tarasque who know how to build great flavor with the local ingredients they’re working with. Everything is cooked very well so you get to experience good flavor, texture, and aroma. The whole team is hard at work at Tarasque, as the servers and cashiers are also great at their job. They are very accommodating and make sure that everything’s alright. You order at the front, and the cashiers there are well prepared to get you in the restaurant and get your bellies full."

"The food we had was delicious, and the service was acceptable. However, there was a significant issue: four of us each ordered an entree and shared two appetizers, yet there was barely enough space on our tiny table for the oversized plates they used. Strangely, the large plates weren't even filled with food; just a small amount was served on these ridiculously big dishes. I found myself having to balance a plate on my lap until we could clear some space by combining items and signaling a waiter to take away a plate, so we could enjoy our meal without feeling cramped. We were really looking forward to a nice evening out with friends away from the kids, and after spending $150, we left feeling quite disappointed. It seems like it would be a great place for just two people, but it wasn’t the right fit for our group. What a letdown for us."

"the lens soup was quite good and tasteful, beautiful and hot on a cold day. the bark sauce sounded good, but it was served warm, which seemed like they just warmed it. the brisket was served on a bed nierenbohnen, which was strange and simply not really supplement the meat. the cheesecake was good, but the vanilla flavor was a total surprise, and reminded me of the shopping at the grocery outlet for items that no one buys. I was definitiw underwhelmed, but fortunately the manager kept the service on curs. Unfortunately, this afternoon had bad outrage. I won't be back."
