"This restaurant has great potential. The decor is rustic and patriotic, which I really liked. The coffee was very good, but the baristas didn't seem to know much about the beans or their backstory. It seemed like a group of college kids were in charge and things were a bit chaotic. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I ordered was just okay. The bacon was not very good, but the cheese and bread were decent. Overall, I think this place still needs some improvement. I was hesitant to visit due to the negative reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The coffee was great, but the staff and food options need work. It was strange that they didn't have condiments available like salt, pepper, ketchup, or mustard. On the positive side, they are dog-friendly, which is a big plus."

"A few days ago, I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was fantastic. They have an amazing selection of teas and a great variety of tea accessories, including water kettles, cups, tea sets, and even disposable biodegradable tea bags. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the differences and some history about the various types of tea. I will definitely be coming back!"

"I have lived in Austin a little over a year now. I try to get out and about, seeing new places to drink and eat weekly. This was by far the worst service I have experienced to date. We were seated and nobody checked on us after that for almost a half hour. When someone finally did come, everything we asked or ordered came off as an absolute burden for the waiter/waitress to write down or answer. Each drink came with about a 20 minute gap or longer and when they were delivered it was with an uncalled for rudeness. I'm not sure if the few people working had a bad day or what, but it was honestly bizarre. Understaffed and not worth the money"

"Great place for bulk coffee and tea, plus basic and unique drinks. They have countless options for coffee beans, from single origin to blends and whatever roast you need. The tea options are fantastic, with dozens of options for black, green, herbal, and everything in between. You can buy a full pound of coffee beans for a very reasonable price, and you can get small bags of tea to try out something new with little risk. They also have brewing equipment for every technique.Their drip and cold brew coffee are great, as are their specialty drinks like the golden latte. Service is quick and friendly and very knowledgeable about tea and coffee options. Highly recommend!"

"I ordered from Uber Eats for the first time and I’ve found my new go-to spot for a healthy meal. Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the chocolate berry smoothie bowl, which I customized by adding extra of nearly everything, along with banana, blueberries, cinnamon, honey, and almonds. I’ve attached photos and a list of my customizations. To be fair, I was really craving something sweet, and this bowl delivered on all fronts. The mixed berry smoothie hidden underneath is also tasty, and all the fruit is fresh and delightful. The added extras took it to another level, in my opinion. I’m extremely satisfied!"

"This is a charming little cupcake shop featuring a lovely glass display filled with beautifully decorated cupcakes, priced at $3 to $4 each. I tried the red velvet cupcake, which looked homemade and enticing, but unfortunately, it was quite dry and lacked flavor. Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed, and I probably won't return. On a brighter note, they do offer a nice selection of mini cupcake variety packs that include their standard offerings. While seating is limited, there is ample parking available in the lot nearby."

"We visited this restaurant about a year ago and enjoyed fantastic pistachio milkshakes, full of blended pistachio goodness. However, our recent experience was incredibly disappointing. Instead of the creamy shake we remembered, we received a drink that felt more like a milkshake with a few whole pistachios tossed in. The straw struggled to accommodate them, almost like it was giving birth to nuts! I truly don't understand why they didn't blend the pistachios this time. It's baffling. Given this experience, I don’t think we’ll be coming back. The price for the shakes was also outrageous—almost $20 for two! It just adds to the disappointment."

"I really hate to give a bad review to a small business, but Shane 's Donuts was a disaster. It 's not the employees (who were super welcoming and friendly), it 's the product. Nobody wants depressing donuts, but that 's what I got here.Up early and headed to nearby Dinosaur National Park, we thought why not treat ourselves to a box of donuts. I like to support small local businesses, and Shane 's fit the bill. Tucked away in a plain Jane strip mall with no fancy sign or surroundings, I figured their donuts would speak for themselves. Well, the sure did and not in a good way.We couldn 't make up our minds and opted for a 6 pack so we could take a bite of each and have a variety. The donuts on display looked really tasty, and the store already had a few old timers having their daily breakfast sweet. You could tell they were regulars and locals, this isn 't a touristy place. We picked three different flavors of glazed donuts, then three different filled donuts.The donuts were good and tasted fresh and soft, but the oil was old and needed to be changed. That 's always strike one when you bite into a donut. The glazes were good but overly sweet, and the yeasty dough was light and fluffy. What a shame the old oil ruined the flavor. I 'm docking them two stars for this.What brings Shane 's Donuts down to the dreaded one star rating is that ALL THREE OF THE FILLED DONUTS were completely empty of filling! No cream or jelly in ANY of them. I was doubly disappointed because we paid extra for the specialty filled donuts, but none of them had filling inside. I guess somebody messed up, but the staff needs to pay more attention to quality control. I paid extra for AIR! See photos of my sad, empty donuts.Since we had a full day planned at the national park, I couldn 't turn around and complain or get the items replaced. By the time we got back to town, they had closed for the day, and we left early the next morning.I would avoid Shane 's Donuts, or at least take a bite of the filled ones before you leave the parking lot. I am super disappointed, and I won 't be returning to Shane 's when I visit Vernal again."

"One star feels generous.facts:Called for an order of 2 dozen cupcakes on Tuesday for Sunday pick up to celebrate employee bday on Monday). Since it was Mother’s Day I Offered to come in later since they would be busy. I was told to come at 5pm.My uncle arrived Sunday at 4:45 and Juan staff) told him that he already came yesterday Saturday and the cupcakes aren’t here. He told him that it was my 70 year old uncles fault. No mention of “I am sorry there is a mistake, let’s see what we have in stock”. He was told no refund. When I asked to speak to a manger Juan told me , go online to the website. He refused to leave a message.After several emails, phone calls no response from anyone and no refund.I have since have spoken to the woman who took the order and she told me that she wrote the wrong date.I assured her, the mistake is not an issue it was the defensive and accusatory response and refusal to refund . She called a manager to try to explain snd yet no refund.Horrible customer service and the cupcakes just mediocre. Do yourself a favor and go to sweet things!"
