"I've been here a few times. They really do have delicious pastries and bread, But I rated their service so low and took a star off for their food because I ordered to go off their website. I got a loaf of bread sliced, and a a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, but the loaf of bread was completely burnt on the bottom. Not just a little burnt. It was black burnt. It ruined the taste of the bread, and I understand that the ovens they cook the bread in is really hot and needs to be to get the outer crust, I don't think that's acceptable to sell to customers. I rated that on the service though because it was the person who made the choice to sell that black burnt bread because I was just picking it up."

"Amazing food but even more amazing people. I picked up my order and when I got home and opened my car door, my chicken parm sandwich threw itself onto the ground. The box exploded open and everything was ruined. I was so upset but I thought, maybe, just maybe, the people of Wealthy Street Bakery would take pity on me if I told them what happened. So I called, and Jim was very kind and understanding and said they'd remake it, no problem. I was so relieved and grateful. My husband loved the chicken parm (once I finally successfully acquired it), and my calzone was absolutely delicious. And of course all the pastries are 10/10. But knowing that they care about their customers and are willing to do something above and beyond when they're not really obligated to means they've got me for life. Oh, and as a side note, I very much appreciate that the staff is still wearing masks thank you for all the care in what you do, Wealthy Street Bakery crew."

"If the owner of this establishment reads my review, I have a message for them: "You need to watch the behavior of your staff and ensure the quality of the products you sell to customers." My husband and I have visited this bakery multiple times because we live just one minute away. Despite the rude attitude of the Armenian women working there, we tried to ignore it and just focus on getting what we wanted. However, today was different. I asked my husband to bring me a piece of berry tart, specifically telling him to make sure the berries were fresh because I suspected they sometimes give old slices instead of fresh ones. He brought back five pieces and I was looking forward to enjoying them with fresh berries. Unfortunately, what I received was far from fresh. The cream was not fresh at all, and to top it off, there was mold on the blackberries and rotten raspberries used as decoration. We were extremely disappointed and angry. When we returned to the bakery, the woman who sold us the rotten pieces simply rolled her eyes when she saw us parking the car to return them. She didn't even apologize but acted as if she was doing us a favor by exchanging the pieces for fresh ones. I usually don't write reviews, whether good or bad, but this time I felt compelled to warn others about the terrible attitude and quality of products at this bakery. It's a shame I didn't take a photo of the mold, but the most shocking part was seeing her put the rotten piece back on the shelf to sell again."

"I had never been to a frozen yogurt shop before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Despite not being a huge fan of yogurt, the variety of toppings made it taste like soft ice cream. I thoroughly enjoyed my combination of vanilla and milk chocolate yogurt with cookie, strawberry, cheesecake, and fudge toppings. It was delicious! I would definitely come back again. Additionally, they had a vegan yogurt option available, which was pineapple."

"I feel like every time I eat anything with lettuce in it from here I get some degree of food poisoning. Wash the lettuce/your hands better. The short haired cashier always has a terrible attitude. When I preorder something on the app and schedule it for a certain time, it is NEVER ready at the time. They always start working on putting together the order when I go to pick it up. Penn needs to kick this awful place out and get a better food option."

"One of my best places,sometimes I got to have my coffee with my husband and my kids because we are regular customer,the only thing that I didn't like I my last visit is the service it was so bad that I leave the shop I asked for small latter and the lady she leave me waiting more than 10 minutes also the was with other customers who come after me in addition to all of this she made my coffee hot I really didn't appreciate that but it ok I still like this place,my advice for the manager is to have more professional experience to work in his business"

"My first experience with Final Kourse Bakery has been a very pleasant one. I reached out via email to do a strawberry cake for my son's 8th birthday. I didn't really know how I wanted it and a Johnny really helped him figure it out with helpful suggestions. The cake was ready for pickup and I had no issues with that. Excellent customer service! The cake was beautiful! The image I used for TMNT came out perfectly and my son loved it! The cake was also delicious! The only negative I heard collectively was the strawberry cake was a little too sweet but everyone enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again. The adults still wanted to know where to go for their kids birthday cake! Thank you again Johnny! See you soon!"

"Herb and Beet is a hidden gem. It's easy to miss this place when driving along Sawdust Road- but this restaurant has received high ratings among Houston and local food critics alike! I had never considered salad a comfort food until eating here. The in-house smoked chicken and bacon that topped my cobb salad combined with the creamy smashed avocado and dressing mixed in was nothing short of sublime. I have visited a handful of times since discovering this restaurant-and each time was impressed with the food and service. They have smoked meat plates with sides for those who are not the salad- eating type. On my recent visit, is discovered they now have a happy hour from 3-6pm with drink and food specials. Planning my next trip now!"

"Love this place! I do agree with some of the other reviews the non chocolate desserts have no taste at all, the frosting you get MIGHT help. The cookies, brownie bites, cinnamon role cake and they currently have a cookie crunch cupcake has the most flavor ?? Will try the tea cake and biscuits next if I can ever make it there early in the AM. They are pretty pricey but for the piece of mind I'll have because of the clean ingredients I get it! Loved my SpongeBob Birthday cake, it was smaller than I thought for $72, it was chocolate so tasted great! I wish they had as much stuff as I see at their Florida or other locations. Seems like they don't do as much and they often run out of a lot of customer favs early in the day."

"I've visited this place over 10 times. Often, the pastries are stale, so be ready for disappointment, and the staff isn't always upfront about it (they should just sell the old pastries at a discount to avoid confusion). That said, when the pastries are fresh, they taste great. Unfortunately, you never know what you're going to get. The prices are generally very reasonable, but I've only tried the pastries. They do have a nice selection if you have a sweet tooth. Would I come back? Only in desperate times."

"We made a reservation with MICHAEL several months in advance to cater our wedding. We stayed in touch throughout the months to confirm all the details. However, the day before the wedding, he informed us that he would not be able to cater the event. On the day of the wedding, at around 12:00pm, he cancelled on us and refused to issue a refund. We had paid him in full months ago, so we were extremely disappointed and frustrated by his last-minute cancellation. We had high hopes for Michael, but he ended up ruining our wedding and causing us to lose a lot of money. Learn from my mistake and choose a more reliable caterer. God bless."

"It all started when I had to place a last minute order in. It was just 3 days before my daughters birthday and I inquired through email. Not only were they quick with a response they helped me stay within my budget and through the whole 3 days of email communication they made sure the cake was ready for pickup on Sunday and I was impressed! My girls loved the cake(confetti with strawberry butter creme filling) . It was very beautiful and sweet! First birthday in California and this business was on top with working with me. When I couldn’t make it to the shop to pay upfront before they closed they were convenient with their invoice online! Just a great experience and no disappointment what so ever! From reaching out to them on the 7th to sending my husband for pick up on the 10th it was all a 5 star experience! I’ll forever do business with this bake shop ! Much love!"

"Dora’s was at the top of our list for a gluten free burger on our trip to Miami. Although not actually close to Miami downtown, we made the 20 minute trip to come for a burger.The place is very small with limited seating. The photos online make it look huge.Most of the items for sale to take away are frozen. Which I get, as it’s tough to keep freshly baked gluten free items fresh.However it was disappointing that we couldn’t order quite a few of the fried items on their dine-in menu.We opted for burgers. Which we good for a gluten free burger. They were a normal burger size, which never happens in other gluten free restaurants. Normally the baked goods are half the normal size.The bread was the highlight of the burger. However not overly impressed with the burger meat patty. It seemed like a mass produced one that you can buy frozen. For the cost of the burger, compared to other places, it could’ve been a lot better.I would also have expected to see more baked goods fresh on display due to the name “bakery”. But I guess offering frozen to take home is a more cost effective method for a niche market."
