"We experienced a bit of a wait to be served, but once the food arrived, it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. They accommodate dietary restrictions by offering non-dairy options for their teas such as oat milk and almond milk. The service was decent, but could have been better. We dined in for brunch and found the price per person to be between $20-30. The food was excellent, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was pleasant, scoring a 4 out of 5. "My daughter and I was lucky to find this gem offering a page in their menu for vegan options. We had missed out in the free breakfast at the hotel we were staying in Clark, NJ and left starving after check-out. We drove to a cafe in Rahway that indicated in a Google search that vegan options were available and a customer review stated they had tofu scramble. However, when we arrived they only had a couple of cookies and avocado toast for to choose from. We were so disappointed. We ran another Google search for Vegan Restaurants Near Me and we, both, decided on Brewed Awakening in Metuchen. We are so glad we did. The area was clean and safe. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. The Iced Chai and Matcha Lattes were THEE best we 've ever had. We chose the tofu scramble and Avo Chick as our options. Spicy Chorizo Chickpeas were the feature of the Avo Chick which we requested to have on the side due to our low tolerance for spicy. They were very tasty in low consumption (small bites at a time), if you 're not a big spicy food eater. The potatoes and tofu scramble mix was delicious with the added vegan cheese and avocado. We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of the food as we normally do. We would definitely return when visiting the area. Thank you!"

"Great homemade food and good people, with a good purpose (I asked, it wasn't offered). I hadn't checked reviews but had heard it was open late and thought it was a bar. There are many drinks offered, but is not a bar. Many teas, health drinks, smoothies are offered. The menu has many sandwiches, and also has vegetarian options and salads available too. For the readers consideration to the negative reviews:. I'm sure that money I spend at restaurants supports many various people's agendas. "Lucked out and got parking right in front on a Sunday. First I notice how wonderful the decor is here. The lights are so pretty. Easy to read menu in the board or you can check out the app first. I love family owned places. I tried the pistachio baklava andthe Mediterranean chicken wrap. My son had the omelette. Very good food at just the right temperature. Put your dishes in thecart they have located close to where you pick up your food."

"Several weeks ago I was passing through Nashville and had the opportunity to stop in. I had been in before but it had been awhile. This particular day I ordered my drink and sat in the shop and worked for several hours. During that time, I ordered several drinks which were full of great flavor and tasted amazing! I also purchased kits to take home… they are so easy to make and taste just like the drinks I ordered while there. I also witnessed excellent customer service. Since that time I’ve been back weekly. Each time I’ve been in I’ve ordered something different and each drink has been fabulous. "I stopped by the drive-thru to order a coffee that I had really enjoyed during my first visit to the restaurant, and I was excited to try it again. This time, I decided to stick with that same coffee. The staff member suggested trying the cherry blossom cold foam, which was popular, so I thought I’d give it a shot on top of my cold brew. However, when I tasted it at the window, I realized I didn’t like it at all. Unfortunately, the employee didn’t offer any help or suggestions to improve my drink; he just wished me a good day. As a result, I ended up spending money on a drink I couldn’t finish. I was really looking forward to enjoying my coffee this morning, but I left feeling disappointed. On a positive note, the Mexican corn-stuffed bagel ball I tried was fantastic! As someone who works in the service industry, I believe in treating others the way I’d like to be treated, which is why I don’t often write reviews."

"I moved to Norton a few years ago and instantly fell in love with Bagels Cream. The service is exceptional and they always make you feel so welcomed. I am addicted to the bagel sandwiches and frappes.They are the best I've ever had. Yaya knows me and my order when I walk in. She always greets me with a smile and is so pleasant to talk to. She goes above and beyond to ensure her customers are happy and satisfied. If they are out of something she will do whatever it takes toaccommodate me. "One star feels harsh, but all this place has is location and a nice wooden table. The iced coffee is always acidic. I have the worse heartburn after drinking their iced coffee. Sometimes it tastes like burnt popcorn and you have to add a ton of cream and sugar to make it drinkable. After dealing with mediocre iced coffee for years I switched to Americanos thinking a freshly pulled espresso shot would ameliorate any taste and inadequate coffee brewing skills and boy was I wrong. When you order a medium Americano you'll get 1 or 2 espresso shots in the coffee it tastes like milk with water. It's absurd to me that a coffee establishment can't brew nice light roasted iced coffee and now they can't pull an espresso shot?! That's why I give this coffee establishment 1 star. The lemon biscotti is decent, but all the other food is as taste less as the coffee. Train your staff to make coffee replace old coffee pull an espresso shot and dump it into dairy before 4 seconds so it doesn't taste like burnt dirt. I had such a disgusting, stale, and acidic coffee from Common Grounds that I had to leave work and go home and was physically ill. Common Grounds is overrated and unfortunately you get better service and product at local fast food coffee than Common Grounds."

"I went to Starbucks with my daughter because she wanted to try one of their drinks, and honestly, I didn't think I would like any of the options for some reason. I'm really grateful to her for encouraging me to try one because these drinks are delicious! I've been experimenting with different ones, and so far, I haven't been disappointed. It's a bit different from what I usually order, but I'm open to learning since it's all worth it. The only downside for me is the price, so I'll have to get used to treating myself maybe every other day."

"I really like Mary Lou's, especially this location. The employees are always chipper, always smiling, and they actually say thank you when the transaction is done. The store is well run, the coffee is great in my opinion better than Dunkin' donuts. The place is clean everything in order well managed and the outside area is clean kept up obviously by management. That is very important, I noticed a lot of establishments Do Not keep the outside area clean and free of debris."

"I stopped by this restaurant after visiting the Walmart next door because I was craving a drink. However, after trying their drinks, I ended up having to buy a bottle of water because everything was too sweet. They didn't offer an adjustable sugar level and as someone with a sweet tooth, even I found it too syrupy. If you're used to getting boba drinks from popular boba chains, you'll probably be disappointed here."

"Unfortunately, the establishment is closed now and may soon become a FitBrew. Located on the upper level of the Plaza of the Americas food court, close to the northwest entrance (Pearl at San Jacinto), it offered a great selection of coffees, teas, and snacks, all provided by friendly and attentive owners. This cozy spot was a reliable escape after a tough day in the city, offering more than just caffeine to lift your spirits. It was conveniently situated between the Arts District and Kyle Warren Park, as well as near the train and bus stations to the south. While the shop itself was small and lacked seating, the food court provided plenty of comfortable options."
