"This should be on the list of Chicago?s must try/eat/do. Such traditional feels and food is really good! The manager is so knowledgeable about the oysters and the food. The waiter was so warm and friendly. It checks every box for a perfect diningexperience! I had the lobster roll and it was delish. I like that they used toast and not a bun. The oysters! Oh my?. So sogood. I think I can just have the oysters for a meal? the key lime pie was nice, too. It didn?t have that over the top sour zingwhich I think makes it more enjoyable. If I ever come back to Chicago I will revisit."

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"The Tagliatelle had a flavorless bolognese. The Spaghetti Pomodoro was very bland. The squid ink pasta was okay. It had far more flavor than the other sauces. The salad was the absolute best thing I ate. The vegetables were cut perfectly and the vinaigrette was delicious. The crostini with the salad was equally delicious. There was no plastic ware included. They should also include Parmesan cheese"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"I really like this place it remind me somewhat of the cheesecake factory but in MTL.They don't take reservations for 2 ppl but when we went on a Saturday night we were able to get seated right away ehi h was nice because the place was already full. The place is really loud tho, they have a seating area, bar area and now for summer they have a pretty big patio, we sat inside the seating area it was abit annoying because there was alot of family's with there screaming children that we did not appreciate but the food is always so good here. Our waitress was nice, drinks are really not expensive here, all alcoholic drinks are about 10,50$ which is a very good price.I always get the maui salad when I go there and it's a refreshing and yummy all the time. I love that they mix the dressing in it already. They have some of the best salads here We also tried the spinach dip and it was really good....the only negative thing about the food was that the bread that came with the spinach dip was very hard. This place is perfect for big or small groups. It was mostly big groups celebrating something."

"I love the friendly staff there and I love the sushi that they provide. It’s a bit on the higher end but definitely worth every buck. The service was a tad bit slow on our food but I think they were just busy. Glad I made a reservation"

"Wonderful relaxed ambiance, romantic and great service. Offering general Mediteranean foods such as humus, we were more interested in the specifically Afghan dishes. Hubby adored the lamb shank with saffron rice. I found many vegetarian choices including Kudu (pumpkin w yoghurt available without meat), Sambosa (pastries with chick peas that remind me of British pasties, my favorite). The desserts were absolutely decadent. I had the mini chocolate cake and hubby had the custard flavored with cardamon and rosewater. Fantastic! I have already recommended Nora to 8 of my friends. We drove 1.5 hours to eat here but we will be back."

"I’m sorry I hadn’t returned sooner. Stellar lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon there is no better location in Easton for outdoor seating than Scossa. The food and service remain top notch and the Staff, so accommodating, patient and kind. The saffron fish soup is my absolute long time favorite and the pasta with a name I can’t pronounce in Gorgonzola and pear sauce? Best thing I ate in a very long time, absolutely delicious. In an ever changing world we are so fortunate in Easton to have such a wonderful, reliable and consistent restaurant to return to."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"If you want bad service in a filthy restaurant then this is the place to go. The burgers were pretty good, not monster as described but tasty. We quickly finished our drinks and were never offered another. We then ordered desert and the wait staff never cleared our dinner plates just pushed them aside. The sundae came half melted. We asked for boxes and the waiter did not come back for minutes so we had to eat desert around dirty dishes. For the price of the sundae I would have expected real whipping cream. Whipping cream tasted like it came from a can. The cushions were filthy, seats were covered with crumbs and column had a big smudge of ketchup. Heaters are in bad shape, warped and melted they look to be a fire hazard"

"If I could rate this place with negative eleven stars I would! I was completely disappointed and am considering placing a lawsuit against this hotel for the violations of the Americans with disabilities act (ADA). My friend that was accompanying meto my lunch reservation, Suffered an Epileptic seizure. Once we got upstairs to the floor of the rooftop garden restaurant, wepassed the restroom section and we did see a panel of receptionists and told them we had a reservation at noon at therestaurant. They told us not to worry. We entered the restroom and as I was trying to cool and comfort my friend, a Hispanicaverage-built, brown hair brown eyed early thirty 's woman used the restroom and starts to listen in to our conversation. When Imentioned it to my friend she should take a rinse from her neck down to feel better and look better for pictures she will betaking at our reservations she interjected and told us the showers are meant for hotel guests and spa clients. She also told uswe need to leave the restroom because we are taking too long and all these invisible guests will be interrupted by us. When Itold her we are dining with you guys she would not have any of it. She called security. Security then had me walk to thereservations desk to clarify and check my reservation. Once my reservation was in, I ensured my friend was well enough to walkover to the table. My friend was even given back the wrong change when she paid, plus she was charged for something she did notwant. Terrible service! Wild Horses could drag me to this restaurant or hotel Again!"

"Thought the food was really good! Our favorites included the arugula and prosciutto pizza, the rigatoni, and the pork. Service was on the slower side but our servers were definitely busy. I think the most disappointing aspect was the lack of recognition of the birthday we were celebrating. The restaurant had reached out to me for the birthday person’s name and other reviews had mentioned they made birthdays really special so we were really excited! We did not end up receiving personalized menus and none of the staff had mentioned a birthday."

"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."

"Our experience at Teak seems to have differed vastly from other reviewers. We were disappointed in most aspects of our dinner. The positives: most of the restaurant does appear to have great views, even after dark as there was a beautiful full moon reflecting on the water. Our appetizer was tasty (the brussel sprouts). And the staff was quick to move us to a different table when one of the diners at the table next to us continued to carry on a loud conversation using the speaker on her phone and it became bothersome. The less positive: the restaurant was nowhere near full yet we were moved to a table with a view of 3 TV 's (but fortunately without sound on) right next to a quite lively party of 6. Not the greatest atmosphere. My husband 's salmon was fine but my steak frites arrived barely room temperature and the parmesan fries were cold. Looked and tasted like inexpensive cafeteria food. The restaurant is large and open with extremely high ceilings which creates a mixed bag for the dining experience--nothing cozy about it but I can 't imagine the sound level if there were low ceilings. Possibly lunch would be a better choice here, so what 's lacking in the food quality is somewhat balanced by the view."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."
