"We had an amazing server in Steve who answered all of our questions with precise details and a tremendous sense of humor. The food was truly mind blowing. One of the tastiest Crostones I have ever had and my wife had delicious octopus. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked (medium rare) and so tasty, yet simple. Steve picked the perfect wine--a Negroamaro that was 12 years old. And it was extremely reasonable. Thank you to Steve and the entire staff of Gola for an extraordinary meal."

"The positives: The Grandma pizza is thin, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Parmesan pan pizza is rich and satisfying, with perfectly breaded chicken and a great balance of ingredients. The negatives: The BBQ chicken pizza is a soggy disaster. The chicken is not breaded, and instead of being drizzled on top, the BBQ sauce gets mixed into the cheese, making it watery. I wonder if the excessive amount of onions might be contributing to the sogginess. I’m so let down that I can't see myself ordering from there again anytime soon. Service: Delivery."

"Went with my 2 year old for dinner after daycare pick up and going back to daycare in an hour for a fall festival. Plenty of time for dinner. Only ordered ravioli in butter sauce and kids Kraft Mac and cheese. We got there around 5:20 and needed toleave by 6:10. We were lucky enough to be able to get our food delivered in to go boxes at 6:13, pay the check, and run out thedoor. We didn?t even get to eat dinner the whole time there. At 6:00 a small salad with no dressing was delivered so my daughterhad a couple croutons for dinner before the event. When we got home and I heated up our dinner, my ravioli I ordered with buttersauce had tomato sauce. It was still good, but I literally paid $36 for ravioli with sauce I didn?t order and Kraft Mac andcheese that I can get for $2 at the market. Wait staff was nice and apologetic, however we won?t be going back."

"So delicious. Friendly and fresh. Keep up the great work. My favorite pizza. Well I do like a Chicago deep dish but their Grandma pizza is pretty close just add sausage. Oh lets not forget the best garlic knots anywhere. Okay, I'm going to gush the Italian dressing I take home. So we eat there at least twice a week. Mostly take-out always hot and delicious. One of my favorites is chicken piccata extra sauce. The meatballs are heavenly. I mean their hot grinders huge. You can't miss the specials but you'll have to call. Very nice too that meals come with, salad, side of pasta (your choice of sauce) and bread. I highly recommend trying this amazing Italian restaurant we're thankful they've been around for many many years."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"I have been going to Frank’s since I was a kid when it opened in the early 80s. My friends and I used to love to get a slice and sit in the booths before they expanded and renovated. So many great memories!Now I live far away but spend the summers in PC. One of my favorite things to do is ordering from Frank’s. The lunch specials are amazing, and they always give wonderful garlic balls with the specials. And I just ordered a salad pizza with roasted red peppers. It was so amazing that I ordered the same thing the next day. Now I can’t wait to try the salad pizza with gorgonzola because their Gorgonzola salads are delicious. If you like supporting local establishments, Frank’s will not disappoint!Thanks for staying open all these years!!!!!"

"Earlier this week, we ordered a large plain pizza from Frank's, which has been our go-to spot despite being a bit further from home. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed this time. The pizza was surprisingly small! Did we receive a small pizza by mistake? It still cost us $16, but it barely felt like two regular slices, with the rest being nothing more than embarrassingly tiny pieces—slices that could hardly satisfy a small child. Plus, there was an excessive amount of crust! Were you short on sauce and cheese? It was also undercooked. We’ve been to the store for slices before and have never seen such a sad pie displayed on the counter. Usually, the slices are huge, and we even have leftovers to take home. We hope they can improve in the future because the pizza options near us are terrible, and we really liked this place before."

"This is my third visit here and the first two times were excellent. Historically, they have an incredible variety on the menu and unique dishes. It didn't seem like that this time. The place was busy. Our server was funny and animated, but had a hard time to keep on his tables. We asked about water, heat level and cocktail several times. The heating element never came, although it asked twice and was not far. The food was generous portions, but this visit was not so great. The Pesto Pasta dish had too much pesto and not much pasta. The roasted appetizer was average. The location is really nice next to vineyards in the garden. The interior is also well done. The tables are not clamped so that you have a personal space. The prices are fair. Since 2 or my 3 visits were excellent, I will try again."

"My Dasher was amazing! He followed my instructions flawlessly and was very friendly and charming. The delivery was incredibly fast! The Chicken Parmesan was delicious, and the fries were the best I've had in a long time – crispy and cooked perfectly. I used to live in Wall, but now I'm in assisted living in Ocean Grove, so I'm really happy I can order from my favorite restaurant through DoorDash. I will definitely be ordering again! "Excellent service and fantastic food! I took my cousins who were visiting from out of town on a city tour and chose to treat them to some Italian cuisine at Carmine's. "Needed a place for a 60th Birthday party . The price was very affordable and the space for 50 people was perfect . We had our own private room which was so nice . The food is excellent , delicious and fresh, but the service was exceptional . I can’t say enough, the staff was very attentive and friendly and flexible . I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a party and or just wants a nice place to have lunch or dinner . It’s a hidden gem in a small shopping center parking is great and very convenient . I was so happy with my choice I recommend Passione to everyone looking for a great place to have a nice Italian dinner with great cocktails also !!!!!!"

"The service, atmosphere, performers, and owners are awesome! The food was good, but I have had better food for the price we paid. . The limoncello cake was the bomb! The stuffed mushrooms were small and greasy and the calamari would be better if hand battered in house. The only serious critique I have is the entertainment fee charged per person. This was not specified on Open Table when I made the reservation nor the did I see it anywhere obviously stated on the website. The music was great, and we love supporting musicians, but paying on top of our food bill was a bit much. A suggestion: if you have dinner reservations and spend over a specified amount, the entertainment fee can be cut in half or removed"

"Fettuccine Alfredo add Chicken was the best I have had in my life. We will come here every time we come to NYC. Affordable for big families as plates cam be shared. My kids are picky eaters and loved it! The shrimp scampi was good but we added linguine for 12.00 more and while the shrimp was great the pasta didn't have as much flavor. I wish we would have added shrimp to the fettuccine Alfredo. Next time we will order 2 or 3 platters of that with different meats. It was amazing. Baked Ziti with meat sauce was good too. Next time I will ask for extra ricotta but it was still really good. The server was really nice and he made conversation with us all and it made for a great experience. We WILL VISIT AGAIN AND AGAIN."

"Let me start off by saying..There isn't many better options to have Italian food in NY and that includes NYC..The service, the food the atmosphere is impeccable. The chicken scarpariello is the best i have ever had. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, sliced thin potatoes, fresh sausage, mushroom onion along with a rich sauce that is out of this WORLD. I also get a side of pasta with garlic and oil as well. Their grandma slice is GREAT. the sauce, the crust and the cheese are all cooked flawlessly. Angelo the owner is such a welcoming and pleasant guy. Our server Wilda was amazing and attentive. I can't wait to go back!"

"Our waitress, Tina, was superb!! I can’t say enough about her. She was pleasant, attentive and good eye to eye contact when she spoke to us. Very positive. Our table ordered appetizers. Our entrees were the filet mignon and a “special” which was the Chilean Sea Bass. The filets were cooked to a perfect temperature (medium rare and medium). You could SEE the slight differences. (I used to cook at the grill in a steak house). My Sea Bass was awesome. Cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful champagne sauce. A terrific dining experience!"

"Excellent! I am vegan and our waitress Amanda checked every item I was considering to make sure it was vegan friendly. I had the pasta with marinara and roasted portobello mushrooms. Very good! "Today’s food review is for the pizza. I was told that it had just came out. However the pizza was cold, soggy and greasy. I’ve been told while pies here are good. However if you’re in need of a slice. Go to coiner pizza instead or Sarah’s pizza. If the employee knew that it had not recently came out he should have heated it. I mean it was gross.i order here frequently and the worst I can’t stand is an employee who lies to make a sale. Owner take notice. This is how customers are lost. I should have gone back for a refund."
