"The Fresh Brothers restaurant in Marina Del Rey offers ample free parking in the lot and a generous amount of seating for those who wish to dine in. They have a Coca Cola freestyle touch-screen machine for soft drinks, and I opted for the AHA 50-50 split between plain and lemon flavors. The friendly staff member, Marc, mentioned that AHA sodas are their most popular. The personal 7” pizza comes with 4 slices and is meant for one person. For those who are lactose intolerant, they offer Daiya vegan mozzarella cheese as a substitute on any pizza. The cauliflower gluten-free crust and vegan cheese were so well-executed that they nearly fooled me into thinking they were the real deal! The BBQ Chicken pizza features grilled chicken breasts with a sweet BBQ sauce and raw red onions that are baked. The cauliflower crust contains a small amount of cheese, while the other gluten-free crust is fully vegan. The Vegan Cobb Salad includes crisp romaine lettuce, farro and red rice ancient grains, fresh Hass avocado chunks, crispy chickpeas, roasted cherry tomatoes, artichokes, and red beets, served with a white balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The farro serves as a tasty bacon alternative, and though I missed the egg, this salad is a fantastic option for vegans or those looking to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet."
