"Decided to go into the heights for a mini date night. One of us was craving some steak, so this seemed reasonable enough, and it was just that, reasonable.We called ahead to see how busy they were, it was dinner time on a Saturday night after all. They don't take reservations, but we were told they'd save a seat for us. When we arrived it was not remotely busy, and it is bar service now, no wait staff.Music started off super country but changed not long later with a few more better choices.Drinks menu is decent, but the first wine we tried tasted off, of that makes sense. They were very accommodating and swapped it out for us, which is appreciated. Now, that steak I mentioned earlier, not bad, not great. The mashed potatoes that came with it though, delicious. We also tried the personal pot pie, disappointing. I know it's a safe option, but it was missing seasoning, it was so plain. It was also dry, so not a great choice.Would I go back? Eh..."

"This was a really nice place ! As you wait too can check out their book store . Had so many different wonderful and colorful books. We sat at the bar so we wouldn’t have to wait . We had ebony as our waitress. She was very sweet . As you can see in the photos there are two pics of soup. Norge the same wild rice vegetable soup) but one is a cup and one is a bowl! If you get the bowl you’ll likely be full before you even get your entree. But the soup was delicious and flavorful ! I definitely recommend that. Then I ordered the shrimp and grits ! Absolutely delicious. I love how they has asparagus in it . Never had shrimp and grits with that in it. The shrimp were big it was a nice portion . My friend got the chicken and shrimp pasta . It was kind of spicy but good as well! We both ordered their orange Juice too and you definitely want to because it’s really fresh. It gets made right in front of your eyes with a machine they have at the bar . Literally squeezes the oranges My cousin ordered a burger . Didn’t get a chance to take a pic but it was good . Last but not least we topped it off with their desert . A banana pudding I think with ice cream. It was good we were stuffed ! Lol"

"The brunch at this restaurant is always exceptional. The service is outstanding. For the first time, I treated myself to their offerings and I’m glad I did. My son, who is 19, said the fries were the best he’s ever tasted. I ordered the French toast (the half portion is still quite generous) along with some extra crispy speck, and it's definitely my favorite dish from their brunch menu. Highly recommend!"

"During my first visit to Matamoras, I was uncertain about where to eat. I decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation from a clerk at the Best Western, and I was not disappointed. I chose to sit at the bar, where I enjoyed watching the World Series while I dined. The food was fantastic! The staff was friendly and attentive. Although my seat near the door was a bit drafty, I could have requested a table instead. The dish I had was penne pasta with red clam sauce—it was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this place."

"This pizza place truly embodies the spirit of New York-style thin crust pizza. The venue is a bit small, so we usually choose to order takeout, which is always a great option for comfort food. The pizza is at its best when it’s crispy, which is achieved by leaving it in the oven for a few extra minutes—resulting in perfection. Whether you like pepperoni, plain cheese, loaded toppings, or white cheese, everything is delicious. I haven't tried the Sicilian style yet, but their regular pies and slices are fantastic. The staff here are efficient and dedicated to doing things right."

"Very enjoyed this pizza and her sizzling garlic knot! I had a medium, cheese with Ham Mushroom. It could have been a little more well-done as I ordered extra Crispy, but crust was buttery and thin, sauce was an excellent marinara, and cheese was golden! Garlic Knots we are impressive! Will order again!"

"'I have eaten here quite a few times, as it is delicious and affordable. The service is friendly and attentive, and I have never experienced overcrowding or an unreasonable wait. Delivery is not as good as in person, so I suggest stopping in. I have only had their pizzas, and I almost always get it by the slice. It is wonderful and authentic NYC-style pizza. It 's also in a great location for anyone looking to get away from the typical tourism of NYC and experience a lot of neighborhood residential beauty and great parks. I would say if there is a downside that there is not much space to sit and eat inside. It 's more of a grab and go situation, but it is very easy to walk down the road and eat in the park. <br/ '"

"The really good reviews brought us to Eva. Service was friendly and excellent and the plates we ordered came a little at a time which was perfect so that we could eat the food while it was hot. The Crispy Calamari was light and crispy and delicious as was the flavorful Fried Cauliflower. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Togarashii Chicken but the Miso Congee porridge that accompanied it tasted like, well, like porridge with no miso flavor. The Spanish meatballs were nothing special and the brussels sprouts were disappointingly pulverized with a very soft texture and a little too sour for my taste. The drinks were very good and our Sticky Date Pudding was outstanding, possibly the best dish of all. My friend commented that the wine was served warm. I would say the food was good but nothing very special."

"I had an amazing experience ordering catering from Da Nonna Rosa for my baby shower. The service was exceptional and they were very accommodating with my requests. "Another pizza Friday in the books. Checked out Peppi's Pizza in Langhorne. As usual got a large chicken Parm pizza. This was a great thin pie. Sauce and cheese were great. Cheese had a lot of flavor and the Parm comes through here. Sauce was sweet. Doughalso had good flavor. Even the crust was good. Like taking a bite out of a fresh baked loaf of bread. Bottom was lightlytoasted. The small chicken chunks were well seasoned and modestly spread onto the pie. Felt like there could've been more but itwas quality. Overall I'd give this pie and 8.3. Good spot."

"Bacari is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. I dine here as often as possible and it never disappoints. 'G is awesome! He always makes sure everyone is taken care of and enjoying their experience. The hostess was great! She was friendly, welcoming and really set the tone of the dinner. Our server, can 't remember her name (she had blond hair with bangs), was awesome! She made great drink and food recommendations, was super personable and an overall great server! "Update: ordered again for this year's lunch-still AWESOME! We used Tommy’s for a Christmas lunch at work for 25 employees. Everyone was happy with their choices-the food arrived on-time, fresh and hot, with generous portions. "Veronica was our server, and she did an excellent job. She had a great sense of humor and made our evening enjoyable. The food was good, but it didn't quite meet expectations given the price. I ordered the lamb chops, which were tasty, but there weren’t enough pieces. The presentation was nice, and the dish seemed intriguing at first. However, it turned out to be mainly carrots, along with about six thin slices of what I think were also carrots. As I was eating, I was hoping to discover something delicious and exciting, but all I found was another slice of potato. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted fine, but for the price, I expected more. I might consider returning just to try the appetizers. The table next to us ordered the fried calamari, which smelled really good. However, I don’t think I’ll be eating there again."

"I'm not exactly sure when or how it happened, but I had bookmarked Toto's a while back. When I was in the area recently and looking for a place to meet up with friends, I searched on Yelp and came across Toto's. I'm really glad I did. Toto's is a fast-paced, no-frills pizza spot located off El Camino. There is a small parking lot in the back, but it fills up quickly. If you're lucky, you may find street parking nearby. Once inside, it's best to grab a table while others in your group place their orders at the counter. Drinks are available to the left of where you order, and when your food is ready, they will call out your number. The restaurant can get quite loud, so be sure to listen for your number. The portions here are substantial, with a large pizza being truly large and an extra-large easily feeding a whole family. We ordered two large pizzas - one with pepperoni, salami, and sausage, which was a bit salty but delicious, and the other with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, a simple combination that I love. Both pizzas had a chewy crust and were loaded with toppings. Toto's is popular, especially on weekends, and it's no wonder why. The pizza is tasty, the service is great, and the atmosphere is lively. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again."

"literally the best customer service you can get. my family of 8 visited last weekend to celebrate my birthday. some of our food came out a little late. the manager, run, came by to know that she would compose the meal that was too late. not only did she take care of the meal, but also the child desert and provided free wine. my family was very impressed by the quality of the meal, but the attention to the customers. that was their first visit to pomo. our server (unfortunately remember its names) was also fantastic. we will definitely come back. highly recommended."

"My bestie and I have a monthly “Ladies Who lunch” meet up. This month we selected Fred’s Barneys. We adored it! The service, the food and the atmosphere were perfection. I had the lobster roll and my friend had the chicken caesar salad. The ingredients were very fresh and delicious. A diner at the next table strongly recommended that we try the pomme frites. We did. We split an order and it was divine. Every plate that I saw coming into the dining room looked scrumptious. We are going to put this restaurant back on our rotation –which for us is the ultimate compliment."

"This place is the real deal! All joking aside I found this place to be very interesting. It's more or less standard house of pizza fare (plus burgers) but sort of elevated in a way. The chicken strips for instance are not frozen and shipped like most places, but battered in house with some proprietary blend. The mozzarella sticks similarly had a very good fry and breading and a great cheese stretch. My only criticism is please fix the marinara sauce. It was on the thin side, no delicious chunks of tomato and it didn't really stick to the mozzarella sticks. People like thick hearty marinara sauce!"
