"I visited this restaurant with my husband and our two daughters, who are both under 8. The place was delightful and impeccably clean. They didn't charge us for our toddler, and they offer a special kids' price. Additionally, you can enjoy as many plain and flavored naans as you like. I believe this buffet is suitable for those who enjoy Indian cuisine but prefer milder flavors. Although I personally lean towards more robust spices, I still found the food options and preparations to be commendable. The highlight of our experience was definitely the customer service. The gentleman who was overseeing the restaurant on July 12 during lunch was exceptionally kind and attentive."

"I 'm always looking for a local place to get some good Indian food. The atmosphere is very modern and casual with several booths lining the walls and a few tables and chairs in the center. The current ordering process is a little different. A waitstaff will come to the table and take your order on a digital pad. From what I experienced, they want you to be ready to order everything you want at once. They don 't want to take your drink/appetizers order and come back for your main meal. The food is very good. They have a good variety of dishes but I feel like the prices are a little on the expensive side. $15 per dish is a bit steep for me. We ordered two goat dishes and asked for hot , I found the spice level was perfect. The only problem I had was that the bones were left in the meat. I felt like the majority of my dish was bones. There were perhaps 3 cubes of meat without bones, and the rest were slivers of meat on mostly bone. This directly impacts the portions of food that you get and feels like it was a waste to order this dish. Otherwise, I really liked the food. The staff are very friendly. I think, if you want Indian food in Lafayette and don 't want to pay as much as you would at Masalas, it 's a good place to try."

"Hard to find a place like this anywhere in NW Wis. Most of the time you can find simple bar food. Not so here. Casual but great food for a dining experience. White linen tablecloths and napkins. Okay wine list. Good service staff. A Che who cares what goes on the table. Justified prices. Worth seeing."

"The $18 buffet lunch at this restaurant is a great deal considering the high prices of individual dishes at most other places. The potato and garlic soup was especially fantastic, and the chicken gravy, mutton masala, and chili chicken were also delicious. The dessert was a hit as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very polite. Plus, there was free street parking for two hours. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend trying the Lamb Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Lunch per person costs between $10 and $20."

"I love going to Indian restaurants when they label the vegan items! This place does just that!!! Thank you!!! In the menu introduction there is devoted language to vegetarian food- yes! So, though not a veg place, if I want vegan Indian food in Bethesda I will come here. As for the people and the decor- lovely attentive people. The chef came to chat with me a couple times to see if I had questions or concerns and how the food tasted. Nice touch Chef Anil! All my vegan concerns were addressed, which is more than I can actually say for some other area vegetarian establishments that make me feel out of place! It's decor is new and fresh, not heavy or antiquated. While here, I felt that everything was made freshly. Nothing was cold or old in flavor. The mulligatawny soup was a piping hot delicious blended lentil soup that hit the spot to set the tone for the meal. Pakora are usually only mediocre at best, but these were like crispy deep fried battered spinach popcorn! Try it! The samosas had a hearty filling with more depth than most. The curries are good, but they always feel heavy- here though, they do not over salt like some other places. The one thing that didn't agree with my palate was the dosa. I liked that they are all vegan, but I think the one I picked maybe was not the right one, and, well, the dosa part was a bit bland. I also wish there was a vegan spinach entree on the menu, but I believe if I asked, the chef would've made it vegan!!! Overall, as an Indian restaurant with vegan options, it's a great choice. You can be confident that what you order will be vegan. Because it had meat, 4 cow max, but I can't say they're perfect- yet. As a new restaurant, with time, I may return and love the dosas and ask for spinach! Then maybe 4 cows will be met!"

"We just planned to go to this restaurant and never had an expectation to get great food. The moment we entered and got greetings was so great...we ordered the food again the expectation was nothing but once we started having food... Amazing, super and great are the right words to explain the food... We ate like anything and said thanks to the owner/manager for keeping the super taste without burning the belly. Keep it up . If you are reading this comment you must try the food here once for sure. You will love it."
"The large kid acts like an entitled child that has not worked a day in his life. The Chicken Tikka Masala used to be good. Now it's just Chicken with Campbell's tomato soup poured over it. Used to be a good restaurant now no good. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Really nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian foods. When you first walk in you get the feeling, that you entered a buffet style restaurant. But you soon realize it’s a full serve restaurant. There’s plenty of pictures showing the food, as well as a really good description of the entrees. Tandoori Chicken -marinated chicken cooked in a clay oven Chicken Tikka Masala -chicken cooked in delicious creamy sauce Chicken Tikka- good pieces of chicken and served with mint sauce. Goat Biryani- Traditional Indian dish made with seasoned long-grained rice layered with tender goat cooked in a thick gravy. I love, love, love this rice dish."

"However, the dining experience inside is quite disappointing. It feels like I'm eating in a break room at a workplace, which gives off a rather neglected vibe. If you choose to order for pickup, be prepared to wait—my food has taken as long as 45 minutes, usually around an hour. Even when I ordered on a Wednesday afternoon at around 4 PM, when they weren't busy, it still took that long. The service is... okay. It's not terrible, but the wait times and quality consistency are concerning. I still order from here occasionally, but it's more of a rare treat. The food is good, but they really need more staff, improved service, a complete interior renovation, and faster food preparation times. Ideally, they should aim for an average of 15-25 minutes, but I've seen it take 40-45 minutes during peak times on Fridays and Saturdays. Waiting 45 minutes for one dish as a single diner feels excessive. I've personally experienced waits of over an hour when I've been their only dine-in customer. While I haven't faced the 90-minute to 2-hour wait times mentioned in other reviews, I can see how that might happen for larger takeout orders. I do recommend trying them— the food is definitely tasty—but there are other options nearby. If you have a car, restaurants like Utsav, Godavari, Dhaba Whala, and Kumar's are all within a 15-minute drive, and their takeaway orders generally take no longer than 30-35 minutes, even on busy nights."

"I went to this restaurant after a concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options on their menu. The restaurant was bustling with customers, and I was impressed to find out that they are open until 1am. I tried the veggie fried rice, which I would rate an 8/10, as well as the mixed veggie pakora, which I would rate a 9/10. The sauces that came with the pakora were also delicious, earning an 8/10 rating. The tomato soup and naan bread both exceeded my expectations, with perfect 10/10 ratings. Overall, it was a fantastic meal that left me feeling satisfied and nourished. I will definitely be returning next time I attend a concert at Shoreline Amphitheater."

"Do not dine here for Denver Restaurant Week. They tried to serve us a different menu. We showed the the one on the Denver Restaurant Week web site. The server argued with us a long time but finally relented to serve the correct menu. EXCEPT, the restaurant week menu offered a free bottle of wine. The server refused to serve it to us in the restaurant. Again a long argument ensued and all that she would do is give us a warm bottle of white wine that could be opened at the table. After the first course came out, it took 10 minutes to get any silverware and napkins. When you consider that almost every page of their menu features expensive alcoholic drink options, I suppose their strategy was to force us to pay extra for drinks! We will not be going back."

"This restaurant is truly exceptional, with food that delights every single taste bud. I hosted my sister's graduation party here, and not a single guest had a complaint. The food exceeded all expectations, and the customer service was absolutely remarkable. Whether you're planning a party or just looking for a place to enjoy lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed. The management maintained excellent communication with us throughout the process. I visited several restaurants before choosing this one for our event, and reflecting on that decision, I can confidently say it was the best choice I've ever made for both the quality and the value."

"We recently found out about this restaurant and since then we never miss a chance to eat there. We do not live in the Seattle area but frequently visit Seattle. We time our trips so that we get to Issaquah when the restaurant is open and eat lunch there on our way to and from Seattle. And in addition, we also order food to go. The food is excellent, unbelievably tasty and reminds us so much of Kerala. Service is awesome and the staff are very friendly. Thank you Maurya for the super delicious food."

"We (party of 5) essentially had the place to ourselves on a Thursday evening so we felt super safe dining indoors. The place was recommended by my friend who used to dine at Big Suchir 's original location (inside a grocery store). They have your standard menu items as far as Indian restaurants go but there 's a secret menu item that this place is known for (must try). The Bajra na rotla (pearl millet roti) is served with jaggery, ghee, garlic chutney and a plethora other sides in a metal tray. Here are the other accompaniments (described from my POV): Baingan Bharta mashed eggplant with onions, peppers, tomatoes, spices, etc. Tomato Dal tomato base soup with crunchy noodles Kadhi milk based soup made of chickpea flour, curd and jaggery Khichedi spicy lentils and rice Chaas yogurt drink (lassi) The flavors, all very distinct, work well together. It 's also very filling! Expect that it will take some time (30 min) to get your food as these items are made fresh. There aren 't too many places that do this meal well from what I understand so it 's worth the trip if you 're adventurous."

"This restaurant has been a staple for a long time and still maintains a cozy, family-owned atmosphere. The establishment was very clean, and the service was outstanding. We visited for the lunch buffet, and at just $15 per person, the authentic food is unbeatable. My favorites included the goat curry, palak, paneer tikka masala, and kheer for dessert. There was plenty of parking available in the plaza. I have also been here for dinner, and the freshly prepared food was even better at that time. I highly recommend this place!"

"We arrived about 15 minutes after the restaurant opened, so they were still in the middle of their preparations, but we were seated promptly. My husband and I ordered samosas as an appetizer, along with garlic naan and a main dish each, since it had been a long time since we had enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine. The presentation of the food was stunning, and it came with four different sauces. I wish I could have asked the waitress about each sauce, but she was busy setting up the dining area. The food was absolutely fantastic and kept us satisfied for the rest of the day, even with us taking home quite a bit as leftovers."
