"Yummy! I haven't had Thai food in such a long time and after exploring the surrounding area, my fiancé and I decided to try this place out. Service is excellent. We were greeted at the front door and our waitress was delightful. We told her that we wanted spicy dishes and she recommend we get 3x the spice level. If you love spicy food, I highly recommend you try the curries with the highest spice level; it's creamy, mouthwatering delicious. We had the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry for our main dishes and the chicken satay as an appetizer. The Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my liking but the satay came with an insanely delicious peanut sauce. We ended up ordering more of the peanut sauce to eat with our main dishes. Prices are a tad bit steep for the area, but I guess this is the new norm. Highly recommend, till next time!"

"I tried Root through Eat24, so I can't really rate on the restaurant experience but I can say that their food is 3 stars from what I've had so far."

"Overall, I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The goat karahi was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. However, both the puri and meat samosa were quite greasy. The meat samosa appeared to be overcooked, resulting in a dry filling and excessive oil on the outside. The menu was extensive and impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. While I frequent Indian restaurants in the USA, I found this restaurant to be delicious but a bit too oily and heavy on the stomach."

"I have never paid so much for bad Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken is NOT sweet and sour chicken! It's more like BBQ smothered over cooked and fatty chicken. It even has peppers in it. My fried rice, which I had to order a full side of (at almost $7) bc they wouldn't substitute the white rice, was not even cooked all the way. The spring rolls were tiny and no different than the ones you can buy in the frozen section. My husband said the General Tso's Chicken was ehhh, same overcooked and fatty chicken with a different sauce. The Crab Rangoon is only 4 pieces... only 4! What a complete disappointment! And I paid over $50 for the jou of being disappointed"

"In terms of a Chinese food place, its amazing. I have been searching for the best sweet and sour chicken chinese fried chicken since New York. Anything fried is best fresh, the crab rangoons have good flavor and the egg rolls taste great but mostly like vegetable oil. The chicken tastes right. Some places add weird flavors but its done well here! I really liked the fried rice, its light, tastes correct, and fresh. The service is good and the woman who took my order today was very attentive, just make sure to speak up and know what you want beforehand. She brought my sweet and sour sauce to me after I left forgot it; thoughtful. I ordered Lunch special sweet and sour chicken with fried rice $8 , VERY GOOD VALUE! Will be coming back and recommending. Thank you :"

"I ordered the house fried rice and the crab wonton puffs. The wonton puffs were some of the best I've ever had—fresh, sweet, and simply delicious. Unfortunately, the fried rice didn’t quite meet the mark. It was rather bland; while it wasn't awful, I wouldn't want to order it again. It needed a lot of soy sauce to make it enjoyable, and the meat, in particular, was lacking in flavor. I’d rate the experience 4 stars solely for the puffs, which were truly fantastic."

"Wonderful food from some really nice people. My wife and I stopped for the recording in 2022 a few times and every visit was good. The place is clean, the greetings are pleasant and the food was first class. Compared to other restaurants that serve similar types of food, these guys have it down. The Thai curry was simply amazing. Medium is actually quite hot, but mild is not quite hot enough. The Chinese style food is really good, fresh vegetables and just tastes full and fresh."

"Red Wok is our favorite spot for satisfying our Asian food cravings. The service is consistently quick, the food is delicious, and the staff is always friendly. I absolutely love that they include vegetables and pineapple in their Sweet and Sour dishes, which is surprisingly hard to find in Kansas City. The portion sizes are generous—I always end up with leftovers—and the food is simply amazing. Whether we order delivery, takeout, or dine in, we always enjoy a tasty, quick, and enjoyable meal."

"A friend and I ordered to go we ordered several items, 2 entrees and 3 appetizers. We were completely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. When I called Thai garden they treated me as if I did not know what golden tofo is I explained I did, that I have several post with golden tofu from other local restaurants as well that I'm a chef, with true culinary art training. The woman argued about the tofu, Stating it supposed to be white (not golden tofu, golden tofu is fried and comes to rich golden color making a crisp outside to the the tender white tofu, aka bean curd). After I stated what golden tofu was I also explained it's not acceptable to have food laying in a 1inch of oil. The woman then asked me about the rest of the food. My friend ate 4 bites of her Chicken fried rice and got sick, I ate 2 bites of rice and got sick. I returned the food, and the lady gave me back $4.00 for the Golden tofu. Next time I won't return it I will just take food to health department and show them. I support local You would to think in a COVID time service would be better and food should most definitely be. Very disappointing that was both of our first time eating there. Never will again."

"I instantly fell in love with this restaurant when it opened in West Rome. Despite not being able to dine in for a few months due to COVID-19, I continued to order takeout from Golden Crown. The food is simply delicious! The environment is well-maintained and clean when I pick up my orders. It is now my favorite restaurant in the city and I will definitely be returning often."

"Chinese food is Chinese food, nothing to write home about as it all pretty much taste the same anywhere you go (unless it's a really really good upscale place). So I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special w/o breading. I did't know that meant white boiled chicken with ZERO seasoning and zero flavor, but I do now. I did to-go so I was in and out. That's it for service. Here's a picture of the new menu prices. I don't mind paying for a great meal, and often get frustrated when people get upset over the price of good food because they'd rather go cheap for **** food than spend a little extra for a meal well worth it!! I really think it should be the owners obligation to update prices for customers to see, not the customer. Had I known the price change I definitely would've went elsewhere."

"The Chinese fast food here is excellent. I had the roast pork for lunch and really enjoyed it. The sauce was light and flavorful, and the balance of pork to vegetables was just right. A family of five dined for around $25, excluding drinks. Highly recommended!"

"Have frequented this restaurant for years, the food is good, the staff and service too. Last night I ordered takeout for my daughters birthday, I picked four items from the menu online, that appears to be the restaurants website. My online total came to $50, paying at the restaurant, the total was $75. Hopefully they’ll update the correct pricing online, or create a current website."

"Step Up From the American Chinese Norm. I've had lunch here twice with my wife. Both times were well worth the money. I understand a lot of people want a huge pile of food to shove down their gullets and have more to feed the dog or have lunch another day. It doesn't need to be. The lunch special is a salad (unassuming iceberg with dressing and crispy topping that I would have licked the plate afterward if at home), appetizer, vegetable egg roll or crab rangoon, the main course and steamed or fried rice. Egg drop soup is good. No faults. Wife loved both the egg drop and hot and sour soup. The egg roll wasn't greasy, crispy outside, tender inside and the size was a perfect few bites for me. The mixed vegetables were done really well, cooked in a wine sauce I believe. I tried my wife's Yushang Egg Plant and it was very good, hot creamy eggplant in hot pepper sauce, Szechwan Braised String Beans are amazing. The garlic sauce is very pungent and full flavored and the beans cooked perfectly. And I tried my wife's Bean Curd in Brown Sauce. Probably the best tender bean curd with slightly crisp outside and beautiful brown sauce. Downfall, there were no black mushrooms in the dish. Overall, atmosphere is very nice and the service has been wonderful. Your glass is always full and they are ready and willing to bring out a pair of chopsticks"
