"As a native of San Antonio, Texas, I'm quite familiar with Mexican cuisine, having grown up with it. I honestly can't understand why there are positive reviews for this restaurant. The food was among the most mediocre Mexican fare I've ever experienced. They even had CARROTS in their salsa—what is that all about? The rice was a mushy lump that you had to cut through, and the refried beans were a cold, watery mess. Our waiter kept asking if we wanted takeaway boxes, but we declined. To top it all off, our meal cost $26 for me and $30 for my friend, which feels outrageous for such flavorless food."
