"Smile Cafe should be everyone's default takeout Thai spot in Philly. I love them. They've got it all--fresh, flavorful ingredients, quick turnaround, and plenty of strong Thai curry seasonings. It's run by this really adorable Thai family (support small businesses! . Take out only and closed on Sundays (which is SO sad . Portion sizes are fantastic, and the prices are some of the best in center city as well. My menu tips are the drunken noodles or the massaman curry. One awesome thing for vegetarians is that they will do fried tofu for any of the entrees, instead of that gross soft tofu preparation that is typical for other Thai places. I always have leftovers, and at the $12 price point, that's really stunning. They won't ask unprompted, but can make anything to your desired spice level (I love hot food , and if you ask for really spicy food, it will pack a KICK! Do not sleep on the lunch specials--it's basically two mini appetizers plus any entree you want for ten bucks. Perfect for a quick to go meal during a lunch break. Since they are to go only, take the lunch back to work or if you've got a little extra time, go to rittenhouse square or the river and enjoy. For the combination of kindness, quality, quick service, price, and portion sizes, Smile Cafe is tops when it comes to take out Thai in Philly."

"The distinct and delightful flavors of each dish stood out. The dim sum and Cantonese specialties, such as pan-fried noodles with a mix of meats, spicy shrimp dumplings, and Hong Kong-style sliced ribeye with Chinese broccoli, were all exceptional. None of the dishes were overly greasy, and everything tasted very fresh. Be sure to ask your server about the specials of the day and make reservations in advance!"

"Five of us ate here after work tonight. Overall we all enjoyed it with the only main problem being that our rice and noodles arrived a few minutes after our main courses and all could have been a bit hotter. Nevertheless we all agreed the prawn toast was the best we'd ever had. The interior of the restaurant could have done with improvement - no the place to go for a romantic evening but as it was an after work meal it didn't matter.It's the first Chinese we've tried in Toronto but I'd go back for that prawn toast any time."

"This trendy place for dim-sum is now one of our favorite. The restaurant is located in the historic Ghirardelli Square and has a classy Asian fusion vibe to it. The lighting in this place has a mix of natural light with ceiling lights that looks like a modern rendition of the traditional lanterns. If you pay attention, you will realize that these lanterns has names of popular dim-sum dishes written on them with contemporary pop calligraphy. The atmosphere is great! The food was excellent! Not only are they delicious, they are truly a treat for your eyes as well. This is probably the only dim-sum place that puts significant amount of thoughts into the presentation of the dishes, so they are highly instagramable. Although the taste is not really authentic dim-sum, they are savory and tasty and makes you keep wanting more. The staff is generally busy as it is usually very crowded, but there are enough of them running around that you can flag down someone if you need something. This is truly a one of a kind dim-sum experience. You got to try it!"

"I had so high expectations on twisted soul, and I was disappointed. we ordered the curry tofu and ruck tofu dishes and the grilled tofu steam bunks. (we love tofu the tofu in all three dressed had no taste or texture at all and tasted as if he had been marinated in the air and simply heated up. this is the kind of vegan food that gives veganism a bad name. I can't speak for the non-gift courts, but the people rave over them. it seems like a classic case of chefs who only a fraction of the effort in the vegan dishes that they do in the non-veg dishes. it did not feel like a good value for money, as the escaped were just a few pieces (bland) tofu in a huge bowl of rice. who wants to pay $12 for pure white rice?"

"This visit was my first time as they moved to the new location and everything from drinks to dinner to dessert remained consistent. Not to mention changed atmosphere, it definitely has a rather hip and modernized feeling. My friend and I sat at the bar and were quickly accommodated, although it was quite full and busy. Cocktails here are always simple and yet elegant and in place with seasonal changes. For dinner I had asked to be my green curry “as spicy as the kitchen can possibly do it” and to my pleasant surprise they really hear! (It is usually not served this way, I just love spices and expect my Thai curry to hurt when I eat it. Finally, for dessert I did not get the famous chocolate heel, but they had a gelato fruit basket that I was excited to see that it was hit with the same amount of attention to detail in the presentation, and of course it tasted great. The crunchiness of cookies used to make the basket was not too sweet but not bland, and paired well with the mixture of gelato and fresh fruit. The only thing I have is that they used regular eggplants instead of Thai eggplants. However, if you expect a totally authentic Thai food experience, then you are not in the right place. This restaurant is more of a fusion between Western and Thai dishes, as they also do steak."

"We had a group of 10 to feed, and China prepared our meals in just 15 minutes—such impressive speed! I could see the kitchen from my seat and watched as each dish was cooked in the wok, arriving at our table steaming hot and fresh. We will definitely be ordering from here again before we leave."

"I noticed a neighboring table enjoying bowls of Pho, which looked appetizing, but I decided to go for the rice paper rolls and Banh Mi (baguette) instead. I opted for the prawn and pork, as well as the soft shell crab, rice paper rolls. Served cold with fresh ingredients straight from the fridge, the rolls were accompanied by a plum sauce condiment. They were decent and definitely worth a try. As I enjoyed my meal, the music of Keane and "Video killed the radio star" played in the background, adding to the overall dining experience. When my Banh Mi with beef and lemongrass arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find the baguette warm and toasty, a nice touch. The first bite into the crunchy baguette was delightful, with a hint of chili adding a nice kick. The beef was cooked well and overall, the dish was satisfying. With the rice paper rolls priced at $8 and the Banh Mi at $9, I found the food to be reasonably priced and of good quality. I had a pleasant dining experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant for a value-for-money meal. Next time, I plan on trying the Pho on a cold winter's day."

"Today we celebrated my daughter's graduation luncheon. The five star chefs prepared fresh and delicious foods, and our guests loved the venue and could not stop raving about the taste and quality of the dishes. We received numerous positive compliments and texts from our guests after the event letting us know how much they enjoyed everything. It's evident Miyos infuses fresh ingredients with garden fresh hand cut vegetables, therefore, you will not find this quality and level of quality customer service elsewhere in the area. When it came time to plan the menu, Michelle recommended several dishes and asked me to trust her which turned out to be the best decision for me. When you decide to plan your next event with Michelle, she communicates with you before, during, and after your event while keeping you posted about the meal and time for my guests to arrive. We had enough food for our guests to get second servings and take leftovers home. Be sure to get the rock shrimp appetizer. Overall, I could not have been more elated and pleased with my decision to use Miyos for my daughter's graduation luncheon. Of all the places that contacted me about their venue and food, no one communicated to the level of Michelle and provided 5 star customer service. During our celebration, Michelle and her husband were accommodating and didn't hover over us. Thank you to the chefs and Michelle, for making this one of the most amazing celebratory days for our family."

"A true Asian gem right in Norwalk that you would normally only find in flushing Queens or while traveling in Asia. We scored a table nice and early on a chilly Sunday afternoon and didn't really know what to expect. My Wife I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to China Japan eating our way as we navigated into the Hokkaido district of Japan to snowboard. We ordered quite a few dishes for starters we tried the Dan Dan noodles, while not the typical super spicy burn your taste buds off these noodles were so delicious flavorful apparently these noodles are made w sesame seeds as the owners are considerate of those w peanut allergies they were scrumptious. We also had the spring rolls with chili dipping sauce they were super tasty and perfectly cooked. The pork dumplings with szechuan chili sauce were not super spicy they were delicious, fresh and tasty. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which really brought me back to the Ramen I've eaten so much of while on various trips to snowboard in the northern region of Japan it was soooo good. My Wife had the braised beef fan. It was basically beef in a perfectly made, brown gravy with potatoes, rice and vegetables. We couldn't finish it so we took some home just like every thing else it was delicious. We absolutely had to try the fried buns for desert and we were glad we did it was so good, the little buns were Puffy, hot and soft to bite into with the perfect dipping sauce that wasn't too sweet. They were like little tasty hot edible pillows made with love. Do yourself a favor and go try this place out the owners were so sweet to us they were attentive, polite and you could really tell they cared about the customer we talked about food, whisky, and travel. We know they'll be days where it's gonna be hard to get a table because everything is so amazing and more importantly the owners truly rock and really deserve success."
