"The cheese pizza I had was quite filling, but that’s where the positives end. The cheese had a rubbery texture, the sauce was insufficient and bland, and the dough was chewy, lacking both flavor and proper cooking. Overall, the pizza reminded me of the kind I endured in school, which I was eager to forget—definitely not a good sign. While pizza is generally an affordable meal option, these plain slices were over $3.50 each! For something so basic and unappealing, that's outrageous. There are countless places in and around NYC that offer much better pizza at lower prices. It's shocking how expensive this disappointing pizza is, especially given how many tourists and locals the restaurant attracts. The price for a whole pizza is somewhat reasonable, at least. Unfortunately, the worst part came shortly after finishing the pizza—I experienced a severe stomachache that felt like intense menstrual cramps for hours. I completely lost my appetite for dinner and only managed to eat some fruit, which was uncomfortable to do. It’s worth noting that I hadn’t eaten anything else beforehand, so the pizza was definitely the culprit. Who knows, maybe there was actual rubber or plastic in that cheese? I wouldn’t be shocked. The pizza on display also looked dry, overly thin, and of poor quality. Additionally, I’ve ordered from here before, and I can confirm that you cannot microwave this pizza. It cools down rapidly, so if you order more than one slice, reheating is almost a necessity. However, when you do, the pizza becomes even tougher and chewier (and tasteless) than before. Trust me, do NOT microwave this pizza. I’ve tried it and regretted ordering pizza entirely. I wouldn’t have bothered writing a review if it weren't for the stomachache—it truly was the last straw. This place will definitely be my last choice for takeout on the island from now on."

"If you do happen to have a less-than-perfect experience, remember that it can happen anywhere from time to time. However, the Peppers team has always been accommodating and, in my experience, has done their best to address any issues. That level of service is truly commendable. The restaurant has a lively ambiance, and their dining rooms are great for hosting large parties, available for rent to suit various occasions. The bar area is vibrant, while the dining area provides a quieter atmosphere for guests who prefer a more relaxed setting. The owner, Sal, is a fantastic individual. Through my parents, I've had the pleasure of getting to know him, and it’s clear he cares deeply about both his business and the community. I have nothing but positive things to say about Peppers!"

"The bar service at this restaurant was outstanding. Our group of six had a great experience with both the food and service. Nicole, our server, was wonderful - extremely friendly and engaging to talk to. We all enjoyed her presence. The manager also took the time to come and speak with us, explaining the plans that the new owners had for the restaurant moving forward. He was great as well. We will definitely be returning soon!"

"The food is always fresh and delicious. Everything is delicious and fresh..Don’t believe anyone that says the food was not right because they are lying. Those people is just picky. I have been getting their food for over 15 years and I know it’s longer than and have no complaints. They have a pizza that is soo huge and all their sizes you get big slices of pizza. They only take cash but its ok. The club sandwich is huge with enough bacon(everything is soo fresh). This place is definitely 10 stars five is too low for them. The people are soo nice always believe me. I will always come here. I had to do a review because I saw a bad one."

"This place has it all a wonderful Italian hometown atmosphere perfect service and great food The staff is so attentive they wait on your every need. The restaurant looks like an old village has the cutest wine bottles hanging around the ceiling in the windows they greeted my guest and I with a slice of cheese pizza to sample which is why we ordered the d'Angelo special pizza as an appetizer it comes with every topping Great way to start and wonderful leftovers when I got back home My friend order fried jumbo shrimp, and they were large came with Caprese tomatoes and a House salad and a side of fettuccine Alfredo I got the fruta de mare Full of seafood, shrimp, clams, muscles octopus in a rich red sauce The octopus was cooked perfectly, was not rubber had a great flavor was such a large portion was able to make two more meals out of it after I got home Had to have desert had the Cannolis with candied cherries on each end, and a drizzle of chocolate Crispy, crunchy and creamy what a way to end a meal cannot wait to go back They have a very nice private parking lot Lucky for us. They were open continuously serving all day. We did not get there till like 4 pm late lunch early dinner for us"

"The food is delicious with a wide menu selection. I have been coming here for over 6 years and it was always a friendly place when Cristos was in charge. Unfortunately, my experience tonight with my sibling was not the same. My sister's meal was incorrect, and the waitress was very rude when she informed him that she had ordered her salad without feta and onion. Another waitress brought out the corrected meal but was also extremely rude. There were too many rude comments and arguments with us and other customers. I do not want to come back here after this experience. I know Cristos would be disappointed. It is disappointing to be treated so poorly in a restaurant that I used to love so much. This is the second time in the last month that these waitresses have been rude to us. Good food is important, but the atmosphere is also crucial to make it a great place to dine."

"Lots of places in the area to Choose from..... Pizza I ordered was a margarita it was surprisingly good. I did not get a pic bc I was starving sorry. I wish I had bc it is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered a small which could feel 2 ppl My main issue was with delivery and my wings:(see photo). The wings were supposed to be extra wet and BBQ.... the fact that 1 3 aren't even covered is pretty sad. I asked about ranch and the man informed me they were 1oz ramekins and so I asked for extra... they were 3.5oz ramekins so paid extra for something because they store didn't give to correct info which is written on the container: . (what a waste of money and the store should know it's products.)The delivery took about and hour had issues with the driver leaving the food contactless. I was staying at a hotel and just asked they leave the food at the front desk and they still had issues... I had informed the front desk of my delivery and they were expecting it but the driver called me several times trying to get me to come and get it.They Didn't leave a receipt (which I asked for) or napkins which I also asked for. With covid going on and money being tight for a lot of people it just felt like a waste of money. I would recommend elsewhere."

"Paesanos River Walk did not disappoint! The food was delicious. The waiter was excellent! They didn't seem to mind that two of our diners were running late. There were 10 of us. We ordered drinks appetizers and waited for their arrival before ordering. The Eggplant, Spaghetti Meatballs, Shrimp Paesanos were delicious. We will certainly be back on our next trip to San Antonio Riverwalk. A true Italian restaurant!"

"I absolutely adore deep dish pizza, but have never been able to find a vegan version until now! After 11 years of searching, I finally stumbled upon a place that serves deep dish Sicilian pizza. It is hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted. The crust has just the right amount of crispiness and the cheese is out of this world. My boyfriend and I are completely obsessed with it. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a must-try! We are willing to drive over an hour just to indulge in this delicious pizza whenever we have the chance. "Very poor tone deaf customer serviceOrdered a full house supreme pizza requesting no mushrooms.While im waiting I see employees crowd around my open box pizza noticing that they forgot to not include mushrooms. The lady running the register gets called over and she proceeds to remove the mushrooms from my pizza barehanded. No gloves no nothing. Closes the box and hands me the pizza stone face acting like she didn't just do that.Another time I called and ordered Honey Old Bay Wings. The lady who took the order over the phone spoke very poor english. I get there to pick up my order to discover that they got it wrong and made dry old bay wings. "We understand things are difficult in restaurants, but there were issues with our dinner. Our server was polite, but did not follow up with us during the meal and missed a drink order from one in our group. Second, this was a special occasion, a 91st birthday, and our mother grew up in the neighborhood so this place is special to her. When our meals arrived, our mother's dish did not. She had to wait another 10 minutes before she was served. We politely requested that the meal be taken off the bill, but that request was denied. We were offered drinks and dessert, but we weren't there to drink and had birthday cake waiting. We finally agreed to take-home dessert and received stale cannolis as compensation. The Chateau, after all these years, should be ashamed."

"UPDATE: Corrected food just arrived. A Goodfellows Wrap. Sorry I didn't go to bed with my son. Chicken is chewy and tasteless. Their stuff is normally very good. Not tonight. I think the Parlin location has gotten us for the last time.This place has so many great items. The prices are kind of high, but it's quality food. However, we live less than a mile from the restaurant and delivery can either be hot or right. Today is my birthday and they screwed up my order.
