"I searched google for gluten free and found this place. 0 stars Starting with the parking lot signage is confusing as it used to be a fast food restaurant with a drive thru.But we were starving Husband had very dry biscuits (days old or out of a freezer bag) and gravy was definitely out of can. Gravy covered the hash browns it came with too so the plate looked like slop. Not very appetizing.I’m GF so I asked what was available they have bread. I ordered the breakfast sandwich at 17.99 plus $2 for gluten free bread. It came with potatoes that were not GF and had the texture of frozen then deep fried potatoes. Coated with MSG… which has gluten. The bacon on my sandwich was paper thin and microwaved and probably had Gluten in it too.Service was less that great if someone orders gluten free ask is it’s a preference or an allergy. Know your products and don’t serve them Gluten. Thankfully it’s not an allergy for me.The bathroom was smelled like portable bathroom.Basically extremely overpriced fast food at sit down restaurant prices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free"

"We had the private event room booked for my grandfathers 90th birthday about a month in advance. On the day of, we entered the restaurant and we're told there was another party that was booked for our same time and we were essentially forced to leave because the people in our party are elderly and cannot be in a shared space as it is loud and crowded. Hence why we booked the private room in the first place. Just be aware of you are trying to plan a party here..."

"The waitress was very friendly, but the restaurant itself didn't live up to expectations. I had read all the positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, my burger had an overwhelmingly gamey flavor and I couldn't finish it, so I sent it back. I wasn’t given the option to reorder. The conch fritters were burnt, but we picked off the charred bits and ate what we could since we were hungry and tired after walking all day. To top it off, we were never offered a drink refill, so we ended up sitting with empty glasses throughout our meal."

"The pizza is decent and they have a lot of different options for pizza. Some get pretty wacky like clam.I really really like their wings. The mango habanero I think was the one I always get. The popcorn chicken bites were pretty processed tasting though and I probably won’t get them again.The wait time is pretty long so I rarely go now sometimes 20 minutes for one slice and wings.The price for slices is pretty high but the wings price is decent but I probably won’t be going here very often now.I’d definitely suggest trying at least once though. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Parking: Busy paid street parking. Some side streets for free and paid. Kid-friendliness: Decent for kids but I’d probably take out."

"Who are the people giving this restaurant good reviews? We ordered chili and a grilled cheese sandwich. When we asked the waitress if the sandwich was made with Cheddar cheese or American (processed cheese), she consulted with the owner, who claimed it was Cheddar. When the sandwich arrived, it turned out to be made with Velveeta. It seems the owner or cook doesn't know the difference between real cheese and processed cheese, or they're being dishonest. In either case, that's simply unacceptable. I also ordered chicken wings, and they were rubbery and had a foul smell. If you're used to eating from a can, you might find this place acceptable, but I certainly do not."

"We got to Big Tom's relatively early for dinner and were seated right away. We hadn't been seated for more than a couple of minutes before a very pleasant server showed up to take our drink orders. The menu was bigger than we had expected, but not sobig as to be overwhelming. I ordered the poutine with the fried green tomato side and my husband ordered the burger. We've hadfried green tomatoes many times over the years from many different places. These were hands down the best we've ever had. Theyweren't bitter and were cooked perfectly. The batter was great and the sauce that came with them was great. I'd never hadpoutine before, but after reading several of the other reviews that mentioned it I had to try it. It was fantastic, the brisketends were lovely, cooked perfectly and whatever the sauce is that makes it poutine was really good. The sauce itself wasfantastic, it had just the right amount of savor. I'd suggest getting it with the steak fries instead of the crinkle ones, butit's going to be delicious with either. My husband's burger came out cooked perfectly. He'd asked to have an egg added and noonions the order came out correctly. We could see other diners from our booth and we didn't see any delays between when aparty was seated and when they were served. The place is clean, tidy and had a comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely begoing back."

"These guys always put together a great meal their pizzas are phenomenal. But if you really want to try him out get an order of their crazy cheese bread that is so good and that's if you're on a budget. You can add your own toppings to it and make it basically a pizza which is what we do but it's really good"

"Outstanding pizza, loaded and tasty. Picked up a 12 Classico. The box felt heavy from all the toppings. Truly loaded with toppings, and tasted great. It had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Vegetables were fresh (very important for onions). The crust was just right not too thin or thick, and cooked perfectly. Crunchy on the bottom, soft in the middle, and not burned. This beats all of the chain pizzas I have tried, and competes well with the best of the gourmet pizza joints. I'll be back."

"I returned for a second night and once again, the food was outstanding. This time, the entree portions were larger, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're visiting Edisto Beach, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The quality of the food here is exceptional. The fried green tomatoes served over grits were among the best appetizers I've ever had, and there's easily enough to share between two people. I did find the portion size of the main course to be a bit smaller than expected, but overall, I left feeling satisfied."

"We are currently on vacation and have enjoyed four delicious Chicken Fried Steak meals—it's that good! However, today I tried the corned beef hash, which tasted like it came from a can and was served in a very small portion. Everything else has been wonderful! I do have one suggestion: the pancakes are large, fluffy, and packed with blueberries, but it would be much better to have two servings of syrup and butter instead of just one."
