"we have half dozens of oysters, all different species (two of the western cost, and 4 of the east coast.) all were amazing. then we tried the braided short ribs, with a zeasarsalat and the mac and cheese. the zeasar was exactly that, and the braided short ribs were fantastic. very tasty and delicate the mac and the cheese are perhaps the best I ever had. beautiful cheese mix that actually has a great taste, the dish was flat with a crispy crumb above, which means that I have some crispy in every bite. everything was delicious."

"Had a great dinner at Firefly. The mark of a great restrauant…. they don’t have a Mai Tai on the menu but they made one for my husband that was delicious and my purple haze was strong and devine! We were debating on the go-go bread for an app and N8 our waiter brought me out a taste of the Gorgonzola fondue to try because I do not like Gorgonzola cheese. That is a great waiter! He was attentive and gave great suggestions! The bartender, Nicko made the best cocktails, very flavorful and potent! Apps were the go-go bread and caprese- both so good, but I forgot to get pictures! Dinner was the flank steak special with mashed potatoes, broccolini and the Gorgonzola sauce for my husband- I think he almost licked the plate! I had the scallops with a pesto risotto and a balsamic drizzle. Along with a second cocktail- the lavender gin gimlet- all of it was soooooo good! We split a peanut butter pie for dessert, which like the rest of the meal was wonderful! Highly recommend Firefly- you won’t be disappointed!"

"Dec 2023 update. Ahi Tuna lettuce wrap was delicious and Buffalo wrap was good. Great service. Feb 2022 update. Menu much smaller now. They were also not serving a lot of items due to lack of cook staff. We had Salmon Salad which was ok and salmon was very under cooked and the Uptown Chopped, which again was just ok. Probably would not get them again but they have other items we would come back for. The atmosphere is great and the staff excellent. Menu is HUGE. We stopped for breakfast, lunch menu not serviced until 11. **** Mary was good but small $5). The Quesadilla looks great but meh, not much taste even after adding salsa, cholula and sour cream. The Mexican Omelet was really good, especially given I asked for onions sautéed. The home fries were delicious albeit cool. We sat at the bar and service was good. Jan 2020)"

"This restaurant is truly special. The wine list is unbelievable, with a standout being the Oublie from Booker that I loved. The staff decanted it with care and provided first-class service. The wine program here is excellent. It's a local spot where you can grab a burger at the bar, enjoy a relaxed date on the patio, or have one of the best steakhouse experiences of your life in the dining room. We tried the lamb chop lollipops and crab cakes as appetizers, both of which were exceptional. The crab cakes were made with large lumps of fresh crab, absolutely wonderful. For mains, I had the Snake River Wagyu ribeye which was one of the best steaks I've ever had, while my friend opted for the lobster for a bit of surf and turf. We ended the night with a baked apple dessert, the perfect finish to a delicious meal. This was my first time at Patty's Place, and I expected good food, but I was blown away by how truly spectacular it was. The staff and service were amazing, and I have no criticisms - just a warm, delicious, and comfortable evening of great food."

"Always wanted to try this place so we stopped in. There was a slight wait for no reason at all but we were seated after the host was done chatting with his buddy and grabbing his buddies to go order. Very irritating but we forged ahead. We were seated at a table for six when it was only two of us. Not a big deal. We placed our order and it took over an hour plus to get our food. Mind you, it wasn't busy and people who arrived way after us got their food before us. I'm no complainer so we patiently waited. We ordered a patty melt with fries, steak and eggs and two bloody Mary's. We didn't end up eating the food because by the time it got to us, we were ready to go. However, later that night when we ate it, the patty melt and fries were really good. The steak was super tough but everything else that came with the steak was good. Everything had good seasoning and the bloody Mary's were phenomenal! Our waitress was new and rung in our bloody Mary's wrong. She rung in a virgin for me and the Maria for my husband. Not sure where the virgin came from. The bartender quickly corrected it. However, with that mistake, it made me think she forgot to ring in the food and that's why it took eternity to get. She offered us a fruit bowl to hold us over. All in all, not the best experience and I doubt we'd return. However, the food was really good."

"I'm not sure what that other review is talking about. The owner's of this restaurant are fantastic people. Perhaps the most hospitable and generous people I've met. The restaurant is clean in fact I watch the bussing staff clean each table with bleach soaked clothes and wipe all the salt shakers, etc. down each and every time. It's a wonderful place to go for breakfast or lunch."

"This is my second time here at this location. The 1st time we took a to go home order after dinning in. We were charged for fresh strawberries which we diidnt receive. Today my 1st cup of coffee had a piece of hair floating in it. The waitress quickly replaced it with an apology. 1/3rd into my veggie omelett and I started eating something crunchy. The consitency of what I thought was an egg shell. When I showed it to waitress, I was told by I assume the manager that they use egg cartoons. So now I'm horrified of what I could have possible be chewing on. They offered to replace it, but I was completly turned off. For my inconvience I was offered a senior discoumt of $2.67. The math is not adding up to the experience."

"We had a group of 8 and it’s not easy to have a table of 8 with how the restaurant is set up. But they did their best to make sure we were sitting at tables right next to each other! Each one of us enjoyed our drinks and meals. And the Christmas decor was absolutely beautiful. My one negative is they do pack them in, and it is very loud in the dining area. All in all I would highly recommend this place!"

"We have been dining at Weathervane for many years. I will say that my most recent experience was not up to par although I am certainly willing to give the restauarant another try at some point. We drive in from Raleigh to dine there and we expect more than we received this past visit. We feel that the staff was the biggest difference this time around. The hostess was unfriendly and ignored a question I asked her. Our waitress was very nice but did not serve us well. I attribute that completely to her other tables upstairs while we were seated downstairs. It would have been a lot for any server to handle. The family seated next to us was annoying due to their two young children holding the reins and being rather noisy. This, of course, does not reflect directly on the restaurant but was just one of a series of unfortunate events."

"Out of town visitors and 1st time at Rosini's largely based on reviews. Our entrees Alfredo pasta with chicken Pesto stuffed Salmon) came with a side salad that we upgraded to Caesar 2) and Mini Wedge 4) meals and salads excellent and worth extra . Ambiance adequate and seemed like a local clientele enjoying their meals. Minor gripes waiter seemed too rushed: it shouldn't take >5 minutes to get fresh ground pepper on salads; at less than halfway through meal, we weren't ready to be asked for to go boxes and I resent suggested tip amounts that include the state sales tax in the total."

"Been coming to Galileo’s 5 plus years. Like the special meal deal with bottle of wine. Like the free glass of beer or wine coupon (this year free chesszy fries with bacon was also a PLUS). The Lasagna is a favorite. Wonderful large shrimp in the Alfredo dish, the vegetarian pasta dish was good (had vegetarian in our family group). You get the feeling of being in someone’s home. Kathy Z is a good and friendly waitress. We definitely willl continue coming back with family and friends."

"I absolutely love going to this place on Sundays in the late morning/early afternoon. They're open until 2:00 on Sundays for breakfast and lunch and they have a good variety of options whether you're craving a breakfast item a lunch item vegetarian or meat there is something for everyone. I like their espresso bar and their cocktails taste delicious. I don't usually go with the traditional items on their regular menu. I typically take advantage of their specials because they're unique and tasty. Their tomato bisque and grilled cheese is definitely worth a try! I know it sounds simplistic but they do it really well. Warm inviting staff environment and food."

"I wish I could say something positive but minutes before our reservation someone called me and canceled. He said he had just lost his entire staff. (If thatâs the case theyâve got bigger problems than a one-star review) Iâve heard great things about this place and was really looking forward to trying it but I guess if you make a reservation have a backup plan. Iâve worked in the restaurant industry for a long time and I get staffing issues, especially now, but if you really lost your whole staff you wouldnât be open and posting on Facebook as of yesterday. Pretty disappointed"

"I recall this place opening not too long ago, so I was eager to try it out and see how the place was doing. One thing I do love about a cafe is the aspect of all day breakfast, and Sweet Basil provides such! The menu has TONS of options so you are sure tofind something you can enjoy. The staff are very friendly and the environment is very home-like and clean. One thing you arecertain of getting here are excellent sized portions of food, you are not going to leave hungry! The food is very satisfying andthe ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Overall a great experience! HOWEVER. I do wish to add a side note. While I wasvisiting, seated at the table next to me was a man who claimed to be the owner. He had a lady guest with him and the duo hadordered at least five or six full plates of food, their entire table was loaded with food! They merely poked at the food, laughed, chatted, and just left, leaving all of the nearly untouched food to just be picked up by the waitresses and thrownaway. Sure, you may be the owner, but it takes a certain level of arrogance and disrespect to just have your staff work hard tomake all of that food to merely impress someone just to throw it all away. It could have been taken come, or just have it boxedup and hand it to one of the hungry panhandlers out there. With so many hungry people, food costs rising, and familiesstruggling, it takes a certain level of I 'm too important to care to remotely justify this owner 's wasteful actions."

"New style Italian, but with most of your favorites offered. Pop's For Italian is really good, often really rich, Italian dining. Garlic Bread this is serious business. Everything about this is right. Tons of garlic, perfectly baked dough, perfect amount of salt. Tried a couple of the spreads, but the bread was way better all by itself. Calamari nicely done! No rubber rings in the batch. Super crunchy batter with great seasoning. Wild Mushroom Fettuccine creamy yet earthy. Delicious and so rich you probably won't be able to finish it in one sitting. Trout Risotto delicious. Served with a couple of asparagus stalks. Kinda small serving of the trout itself. Nana's Gnocchi creamy buttery sauce with Blu Cheese and Italian sausage. Probably the best thing on the menu. Atmosphere They have a giant Statue Of Liberty on display; which seems odd because Lady Liberty was a gift from the French... Service very attentive. No ice in the water or in the refills. No lemon wedges or sugar offered with the Ice Tea. Highly Recommend"

"I came across this delightful little place by chance, and I've completely fallen for it! I can’t stop thinking about their burgers. I've been there three consecutive nights, trying a different burger each time, and every one has been fantastic. This cozy bar-restaurant consistently serves up mouthwatering meat creations that are simply incredible. They have a range of options, including Wagyu, Bison, Angus, turkey, and bean burgers, all of which are superb. The truffle dishes are also a highlight. If you’re in search of delicious food in a warm and inviting bar setting, this is the place to be. The service is excellent, and the charming dog-themed artwork adds a lovely touch to the ambiance. I wish I could give them more stars, and I highly recommend you check it out!"

"Myke's Cafe is truly a hidden gem in the valley. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this place or making the journey. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Rafael and talking to him about his creations of exceptional food experiences. I visited on a packed Sunday and tried the Snicker burger, which consisted of a hamburger patty with Snickers bacon, cheese, speck, greener apple honey habanero aioli (the burger was heavenly with a perfect combination of ingredients). I also tried the Berrylemonicious pancakes, which were delicious buttermilk pancakes with a hint of lemon (not too sweet, which I loved). Myke's Cafe offers a wide selection of pancakes, burgers, and Mexican cuisine, as well as serving Intelligentsia coffee for coffee lovers and alcoholic beverages. There is street parking and a parking space at the back, but as the place is getting busier, there might be a wait for a table - but it is definitely worth it!"

"I went to this restaurant with a friend who was visiting from out of town; we were looking for a karaoke spot that wasn't too late and conveniently located near where she was staying. The service was a bit slow, but that seems to be common these days. Our server was polite and attentive, which is why I gave it 2 stars. Unfortunately, my Turkey club sandwich was dry and the garlic fries were unpleasant. The garlic seemed old and was carelessly thrown onto the fries, giving them a brownish tint. My plate and sandwich were both covered in a cold, unappetizing garlic goop. My husband's eggs were overcooked, his hashbrowns were undercooked, almost like mashed potatoes in the middle, and his toast was burnt. Needless to say, we won't be returning. I usually believe in giving places a second chance, but the quality of the food, particularly the old-looking garlic, was a major turn-off. Hopefully, they improve their cooking because the service from our server was actually quite good."
