"First, I tried to order over the phone. I only live about a mile away so I figured it would be done when I got there. They put me on hold and never came back on to get my order, After 12 minutes I hung up and just drove there. When I got there 4 employees working. I told manager about it. She complained to me. That she was training 3 people they're really busy. I told her I'll let owner know tomorrow. She said she would call him now. I guess she did or at least she acted like she was talking to him. She took my order. I waited and observed employee on grill. Unbelievable he was actually cooking I steak sandwich at a time. No kidding your backed up. My take. If he really was a trainee I would cut my losses now. To slow or just does not care. Manager should be working with him or getting rid of him. I will no longer do business with a shop that first does not respect customers cannot even take an order."

"I was still willing to patronize Capriotti's even though they have increased the price of a medium sub nearly 50% in the last five years or so, but this location repeatedly turns off their grill close to an HOUR before they are closed. They do this because the employees want to clock out at the exact time the restaurant closes. If you've ever worked in food service before, you know that this is not how a restaurant is supposed to operate. If they want to leave at that particular time so badly and it takes almost an hour to close the restaurant, then they need to update their closing time so it's an hour earlier. Lastly, I am not surprised to see that some of the five-star reviews are from their own employees, such as Karishma Patel- very unprofessional and honestly moronic to do so under your real name when it's so distinct."

"I've always had great sandwiches at Capriotti's, but my experience at the Sepulveda location was disappointing. This was my first and only visit to this particular spot. I ordered The Bobbie, a favorite of mine at other locations, but my experience was far from amazing. While eating the sandwich at home, I encountered sharp bone fragments from the turkey, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, there was a large, chewy piece of fatty skin that was difficult to deal with and made me gag while trying to remove it from my mouth. It was clear that whoever prepared the turkey did a poor job. Customers deserve better—no one wants bones or large pieces of fat in their sandwiches! People just want the turkey meat. Sepulveda team, please improve your sandwich-making skills!"

"I ordered a vegetarian turkey sandwich from this restaurant and was told it was vegan. I ended up throwing it away because I was unsure if the meat was actually vegan. It was likely only vegetarian. It seems that the staff here may not understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan. The other menu items are more suited for vegetarians rather than vegans."

"Unbelievably good! I found this shop while visiting their neighbor, CVS. Starving at midnight, I just wanted a quick, satisfying bite. As someone who strives to eat plant based, I was elated to see a vegetarian section on their menu board. Not just ordinary?veggie? fare, Capriotti?s listed creative plant based cheese ?steak? and ?turkey?. I ordered a small ?Cole?, no mayo, Russiandressing on the side. I wasn?t ready to order the $19.99 large. The friendly sandwich maker helped me, as if I was his sister,and granted my wish of spicy peppers on the side. He handed me my delicious sandwich with a warm smile, then he returned tocreating more, as I left the store happy with my experience. After a 20 minute journey back to my hotel, the sandwich traveledwell, carefully wrapped in plain newspaper style paper their store?s wax paper. I?m glad I asked for no mayo and the RussianOTS. The crunchy coleslaw adds enough dressing to perfectly flavor the ?turkey? French bread. The bread tastes fresh holdsthe fillings well. As it was late, I wasn?t expecting much. The sandwich maker was a super star and deserves specialrecognition. Constructive criticism: the person who took my order didn?t try to upsell me. No mention of adding a drink or sidewas used. Since I was starving, I probably would have added more to my order had he persuaded me. Now I regret only getting asmall sandwich. Btw, the peppers are HOT! I was expecting Subway?s soggy, boring peppers, but Capriotti?s peppers are kickingmy face in a good way."

"so disappointing if your favorite undershop is no longer. my man and I travel several times a year to oc maryland and this caprottis is a perfect half point to stop lunch. we have always been looking forward to their cheese steak subs, delicious with a warm, soft roll and many melted white cheddar cheese. it was a cut above her average cheese steak. we recommend friends and family stop there. Unfortunately, this caprottis seems to have made changes to the sandwich this past year. the brot is cold and not so soft, the meat is seasoned differently, not so good, and there is hardly any cheese so that the steak does not stick together. first we thought it was just a free day, maybe, but after four stops, it's obvious that they made changes to the sandwich. no longer something special, just another steak and cheese sub. we don't think we're going back."

"This was my first time going to Capriotti's, I love a good meatball sandwich, so guess what I had? Yep... a meatball sandwich. They have three sizes, so I ordered the medium. I didn't get any drinks or chips, just the sandwich. The lady behind the counter was very nice and took my order promptly. The sandwich maker was hard at work on an order ahead of mine then got right to my sandwich. It came up quickly and she called my name and wished me a good day. I went to a small table located right outside the doors and took a seat. I unwrapped the sandwich and took my first bite. First of all, visually, it was fine. It could have used a little more color. Just a little basil would add so much not only visually but would add a bit more flavor as well. Now the sandwich itself was good but not outstanding. The meatballs were tender and tasted good. The sauce was good but again, it was just missing something. The sandwich was good. It's not a meatball sandwich I will probably return for though. But, I will return because the service was really good and I want to try some of the other options on the menu. I did give one extra star for the service. "This was only my 2nd time getting Capriotti's and this location is not it. I'm pretty sure this location suffers from understaffing/being underpaid, which really affects the quality of the service and the location. Our table was very sticky whenwe sat down, the A/C was freezing on a 90° day, and the cashier didn't specify what we would get on the combo, so we ended upmissing items. Pay your workers better so they do better, end of story."

"I ordered a small cheesesteak sub with light lettuce, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and mayo. When I received my sandwich and opened it up to remove some of the lettuce, I discovered that there was hardly any meat on half of it. I went back to the counter to address the issue, but the staff looked at me like I was crazy, except for a nice guy who remade my sub. The new one was great, but honestly, I won't be eating there again. Every bite should include all the ingredients!"

"I decided to visit this restaurant based on my friend's recommendation, as she is a big fan of their food. She raved about the creative menu options and specifically enjoyed the coleslaw sandwich. However, I personally did not enjoy it as much. My friend thought the quality of the food was excellent, including the bread. "I absolutely love this place! I frequently order for work sessions, and my food always arrives on time and perfectly prepared. It's great for my last-minute orders. It also makes me feel appreciated that they recognize me and greet me warmly when I walk in. Everyone at my workplace raves about the sandwiches and salads, and the Bobbie is a favorite among my colleagues. "I tried to place an order at this restaurant when it opened at 9:30 AM but was turned away by an employee named Chelsea, who told me to come back in 30 minutes. I returned at 10:20 AM, and a kind gentleman asked if anyone had taken my order. When I said no, he requested Chelsea to assist me since he was busy preparing sandwiches. However, Chelsea instructed him to finish his sandwiches first, which meant I would have to wait longer, as he still had six more to make. During my second visit, Chelsea was in the seating area rather than behind the counter. Her behavior was unprofessional, and she clearly lacked customer service skills. I've been looking forward to eating at Capriotti's for months, and this experience has really disappointed me. I won't be returning anytime soon."
