"I visited this place last year for lunch and the quality of the food WAS amazing. Today I went for dinner and I was so disappointed. I don’t understand if the administration changed but the food was really bad. I ordered beef shawarma and got fajitas. The meat was over cooked not tender. My friend got kafta and it was dried with no flavor. I paid $190, after adding 20% tips without knowing that they included 20% for service without even asking me or informing. So ended up tipping 40% without being aware. I’m not going back!"

"The staffing was lovely as a whole. Everybody greeted me and my guest the minute we walked in. The ambience of this place was amazing, and it was really warm and cozy inside. Low lights and more of an intimate setting (aside from the loud music the dj plays). My only recommendation (and gripe) regarding seating is making sure the tables are proportioned with the couches at a reasonable and comfortable size. If you’re not in an actual chair you’re seated on the couch or in the booth-like seating, you’re sitting extremely low, so you have to overextend in order to reach the table or sit up completely close to the table in order to reach anything. Its almost equivalent to a kid without a high chair trying to eat at a high table. Kind of uncomfortable and awkward. The food was subpar, at best. The pictures on Open table left a lot to be desired. I had the salmon which was absolutely flavorless. Even the lemon caper sauce they served with it, could not save it. My date had the lamb chops, and while they were very tender and the meat itself tasted great, they also lacked tremendously in seasoning. It was almost like they just cook the meats/seafoods with no seasoning or flavoring at all other than whatever taste it gives off in its natural state. Overall the food was the most disappointing cause I’ve seen such raving reviews. Yet, I’ve had way better food for less. There’s also about a gratuity included automatically. Did not mind that, as our server was cool attentive. But overall, the ambience is the best thing about this place. Very cute inside."

"Chef Z was extraordinarily personable and very friendly with us. Our first time in we were pleased to see how lovely the interior was. The food was fresh and flavorful!! One suggestion/wish was the mint tea actually came in traditional chi glasses pot of hot water like they do in the Mediterranean_ mine was in a western-style teacup. It had fresh mint so, yeah it worked. The gyro my husband had was lacking meat to filling ratio (dinners be warned) but tasty. My dish was super delicious. All in all, we will be back to discover and try other entries."

"The restaurant decor evoked an upscale feel, and was tasteful and eclectic. There was turkish music lightly playing creating a lovely mood. Great restaurant for date night! Went there this evening around 6:45 and it was very quiet. My boyfriend and I don't care for crowded, loud places, so this was perfect and intimate. We both ordered the chicken shish kebab, which comes with rice pilaf, potato wedges (I opted for no potato and he opted for french fries instead), broccoli,and tzatsiki sauce. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste was divine. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, the rice was fluffy and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. After dinner, we were offered Turkish tea which was perfect on the palate and a wonderful way to end the meal. Both the gentleman who directed us to our table and served us, as well as the woman who asked about our meal, were positively delightful. We will definitely be returning. What a great way to start the week!"

"I never post google reviews. this experience was completely unacceptable. I ordered via slice that was an option on their website. I received a text that the order was received and confirmed. at the entry it took 5 minutes to ask me something. I had to go to her, even though she saw me all the time. I let them know I had a pickup and she kept telling me I didn't. I had to show her my reception. When I raised my receipt, she literally went away and didn't come back. she went on to talk to others than to me. they had come the cook and ask me for my order that he found in 2 minutes. this was a 15-minute experience that my later made to other daily activities I had planned, which is why I set up for the collection. eating is subpar. never again."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"The food is good. We love the eggplant salad and the salad with Feta. I always order the ground beef and veal liver kebabs. Our server ordered the beef which has no flavor when we got it we sent it back. She insisted that we ordered the beef, and we can buy the ground beef. The owner must have told her to take it back. She took my husband's and after a while brought back 1 ground beef skewer. We asked why not both? She thought that my husband will eat my beef. She really needs to be trained for better customer service. The owner was kind, appologized and even treated us to a dessert. They did not charge us for the beef. Hopefully next time we won't have any server issues."

"Friday was the day, and Greek food was what I craved ! I've passed this restaurant many times driving on Eastern and never went inside. Boy, was I missing OUT! This restaurant aimed to please my tastes buds immediately! Their rotisserie garlic chicken instantly became my favorite with the first bite! Paired it with hummus , rice, and salad. Absolutely DEEEEE-LICIOUS !!!! I've had lots of Greek food before, but this place has easily made its way to my number one Greek restaurant in Henderson.The service was quick , and the waiter was friendly and clearly loved his job. I also ordered through delivery service, and the food was consistent with the taste. I've already ordered three times within two weeks!I've been spreading to love via word of mouth ever since!As always, I'll be back in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice!"

"The restaurant offers a decent price menu and while the service may be a bit slower than usual, it's one of the healthier options on Jamaica Ave. I occasionally order the buffalo chicken sluice, which a friend recommended, and it’s quite tasty. Be sure to grab a menu while you're there. As of 05/08/2018, I may be a bit late to the party, but this place is really thriving. Their new location is much larger, providing ample space for dining and better lighting. I ordered the buffalo chicken panini with a side of potato wedges, and it turned out to be a very satisfying meal. Additionally, their customer service is exceptional."

"It was a good day here today. Sometimes the people can be quite testy. Only reason why I came was my buddy insisted since it had been a while for him. Our waitress 'Naglez ' was so sweet and helpful. She picked my entree and always came back with an awesome smile. I literally gave an additional 1/2 star because of her. There were not many people there since it was 3pm. The place is huge including a garden for summertime dining. It has several rooms to add whenever the place gets crowded the other rooms open up. My friend since he wanted to be here is a vegan. He ordered Tahiti and falafel. The think was creamy as butter and went well with the huge amount of bread they placed in the table. The bread was warm and ready. The falafel with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and you can taste the freshness. The salad has much vinegar..it wasn 't bad for me but I can see how someone else may have a problem. Naglez ordered the sea bass for me after a brief conversation and it was well prepared. The extra acidity (again I like that) was good. My son even liked it when I brought it home. We made sure Naglez got a nice tip for making us feel welcome. The price is right here and deserving of more visits."

"The food was very dry with no flavor. The hummus wasn't good, the salad that came with the dinner was mainly only lettuce. Gave tons of flavorless rice!! Chicken was just laying on top of the rice no sewers. Salad dressing wasn't good. Had a sweet taste like a thousand island dressing. No garlic butter or addl anything.. waste of money!! Very disappointing.."

They are not properly trained to wait for all diners at the tale to finish their appetizers before crowding the table with the entree. "We've been ordering from NY Grill for about eight months now, and we've never had a disappointing meal. We've tried their gyros, fried shrimp with rice (the sauce on the rice is fantastic), cheeseburgers, cheese fries, and a variety of other dishes, all of which have been incredibly tasty. Their spices and cooking techniques are exceptional. The staff we've interacted with are consistently friendly and willing to answer any questions. From a senior's perspective, NY Grill truly stands out. We always have our food delivered, and it arrives within 30 minutes of placing the order, so it’s always nice and hot."

"Not sure what is going on but we have dined here several times over the past couple of years and for the first time we had an awful experience. I asked for a coke and was served water, not coke. I ordered a chicken shwarma but was served a chicken kabob sandwich. When I pointed out the error the server told me that that was what I ordered. I should have called the manager but decided to just eat the kabob. Big mistake. It was absolutely tasteless, no seasoning, not even salt. Not sure what the sauce was. It should have been a cucumber yogurt but was a tasteless white runny mess. There were a few chunks of chicken with a lot of lettuce, certainly not worth what I paid. To be fair, the manager apologized but did not offer any compensation, not even a dessert or coffee. We will not go back. Parking: Right in front"

"My husband and I had a great experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was very relaxed and welcoming. It wasn’t too loud but had a great energy. The decor of the restaurant was very colorful and exquisite. We ordered the fried squid to start. I ordered the beef shish kabob and a latte. My husband ordered the roasted short ribs with a side of french fries and an Americano for his beverage. Everything tasted great! The short ribs were cooked in the kitchen but were then brought out on a cart and were torched in front of us. The presentation was fun and entertaining! The service was exceptional, our server was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a perfect dining experience and we will definitely be returning."

"The food was not only delicious but also abundant and quite unique (I’ve never had Uzbek cuisine before!). We started with some pita served with a thick yogurt dip, which was delightful. The pita was perfectly toasted. We went for the appetizer sampler and a pickle sampler, which felt like a great way to begin our meal! All three dips were fantastic, served with the same wonderfully crispy pita. The pickle platter featured a fresh and diverse assortment of pickled vegetables. We also ordered some Uzbek bread to share, which had a bagel-like exterior and a fluffy, soft interior. For my main course, I had the Gampan, while my friend chose the Shrimp Jiz-Biz. Both dishes were excellent in their own ways; the shrimp dish was spicier (but not overwhelming), while the Gampan was more intricately spiced. We couldn’t resist trying the kunefe for dessert, and it was a perfect combination of crispy and creamy, not overly sweet but just sweet enough. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and how many leftovers we brought home. I highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"This is by far Authentic as it get!!! White House Tajine is #1 with all re right spices and everything is freshly made right then. My son is in town and I wanted to treat him to a good moroccian restaurant. I didn’t want to go far and so I found this one online. We loved all of our dishes. Mr. Mohamed, make you feel so welcoming, as if you been there before. I went to Morocco with my children as a summer break because they were homeschooled but 3 month turned in 2 years. I met some wonderful people I could never forget. It felt like home so my son and I knew what to order. All the food was soo tasty as if we were back home in Morocco. "This place was terrible. They only had 3 white wine choices for a Beer and WINE Garden. And, they were all sweet swill. The food was equally bad they were out of 3 of the things we initially ordered from the menu. And, the food we did get had clearly come right out of the freezer tasteless and tough, but priced as if it were the best cuisine in town. I went there based on the 5 star Open Table rating. Now, I 'm hesitant to use that rating system ever again."
