"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"I was quite surprised to see this restaurant with a 4-star review. My experience was far from what I had expected. I attended a dinner party with 6 guests and started with the meatballs, which were lacking in substance. The texture was dry and the sauce seemed like a plain spaghetti sauce. The bruschetta followed, with soggy toast but tasty mozzarella, tomato, and basil. I wasn't a fan of the calamari's shape, but the breading was decent. The Caesar salad was good, but the main entree lacked originality. The teriyaki sauce tasted store-bought, and the salmon was overcooked despite my request for medium doneness. The black rice was undercooked in some parts and dried out in others. As an Asian person, I could tell that the ingredients were not cooked properly. The green beans side dish was tasty, though. I decided to skip dessert out of fear of more disappointment and left for another restaurant. I was very displeased with the slow service, dirty silverware, and mediocre atmosphere. I would rate the food and service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3 as well."

"Went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is friendly and service quick and excellent. I got the beef gyro, delicious and reasonably priced. The orzo soup amazing! My favorite was the way they make their fries, hot and crispy and enough for a whole meal I went back today and got a delicious corned beef Ruben. Today I noticed they have beautiful pastries including cheese cake and baklava. Can't wait to try their breakfast and dinner items!"

"I placed an advanced order for three people through Uber Eats. A couple of hours before the deadline, I made changes to my order, switching my soda to a diet root beer and removing the mac 'n cheese bites. They replaced the soda as requested, but kept the mac 'n cheese bites without charging me. It was strange, but I didn't mind getting free mac 'n cheese bites. However, the chicken sandwich I ordered, called the Edsel, was disappointing. It was extremely greasy, to the point where I could see my reflection in the bun. I had to constantly wipe my hands with a napkin because it was so messy. The sandwich was soggy and lacked any flavor. I felt like I could have made a better chicken sandwich myself, even though I'm not very skilled in the kitchen. If all of their sandwiches and burgers are like this, then I won't be returning to this diner."

"This place truly exceeded my expectations! The blend of restaurant dining and healthy food is wonderfully balanced here. We tried the salmon crepe, which was a solid 5 stars. I’d suggest adding avocado to it. The chili cheese fries were a bit too salty for my taste, so I would give them 3 stars. However, the chicken salad was our absolute favorite! The portions are huge, and it’s not just plain lettuce; it features a proper salad mix with various ingredients and generous amounts of freshly grilled chicken. We're definitely planning to come back!"

"im a local. grew up around the corner. i came back into town a little while back and spent the worst 70$ with tip i ever spent at a local place where the locals go. it was the dreaded sunday early afternoon shift there, and when they served my chickenbacon ranch large pie at my door i was excited. i ignored the ungrateful look on the delivery boys face with my 20% tip but wheni opened the box to the wretched chicken pie it looked like the half man locked away in the observation room eating out of a dogbowl from the end of The Fly with Jeff Goldblum. truly putrid. pie looked D.O.A., the wings were tire fire burnt, not Crisp ,and...i know, who am i? you dont need me! well, i dont need you either, and probably will cost you the $70 i spent along theline with this review, FOR SURE!"

I have recently stopped and ordered the daily special (similar breasthoagie with circumcisions) and asked them to cut it into the half and wrap the other half for me home. I sat down to wait, and the man who commanded me brought it to me when it was done, told me that they would keep the other half warm until I was ready to go, and then brought condiments to my table. "I'm a top 10 local reviewer on Google, and normally I wouldn't write a review for a delivery order, but I felt compelled to do so tonight. After a tough day at work, I didn't have the energy to cook. I had a craving for stuffed pizza, but I couldn't find any of my favorite spots in the city. I often end up with a pizza piled with cheese and topped with tomato slices, which isn't what I wanted. So, I decided to order from here and requested a stuffed pizza filled only with cheese, without the typical chunks of tomato. To my surprise, not only did they deliver a pizza without a tomato base, but it honestly turned out to be the third-best stuffed pizza I've ever had. If you get the chance, you should definitely try it. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy here, except for the Italian salad, but I think that was just because of the dressing, which wasn't to my taste. It's a lovely local establishment with fantastic food and great service. You won't regret giving it a try!"

"we have ordered from them several times. this time it SUCKED on jan 22!! they did not include the sides that were suppose to come with our order. nor did they include dressings or sauces that were suppose to come with our sides salads. I called Casa Mias to let them know and the guy who took my order also answered and just said ok didn't offer to make it right or provide some money back. after he said ok he hung up on me. I then called them back about hanging up on me and of course they immediately put me on hold. I guess the losers recognized my number and didn't want to hear what I had to say. they have gone down hill with food and service and won't order from there again! if you want good food and service go somewhere else don't order from them!!!"

"I absolutely love this restaurant. First off, it is located in the cutest area with a view of the (not-so very filled) river. But none the less, fantastic view and very nicely decorated. The service: I cannot say enough nice things. I have never had a bad waiter or waitress; honestly. They must take serious time to train their employees because these people are the best! And they all help each other out; like one big family. Everyone truly seems to enjoy working there. I've been there many times and I have had the following servers; Amy, Jeannie, Lori, Itzel, and Tyler and have been helped by so many more! "I was walking w/friends trying to find a Spanish restaurant on Lincoln and I took the bad idea of eat at this restaurant. The hostess didn't have the proper knowledge of the menu items and they offered a 2-4-1 drink that was to forget since they don't have real alcohol in them (no license). The food was edible but not good at all. They bring the first course which was a garlic shrimp overcooked and salty, the main arrived without forks on the table, it was a churrasco de entrana (poor quality meat and tasteless). Tiramisu ok, never come back."

"This restaurant offers the best pizza and steaks in the area. As an Italian family from South Philly, we have high standards for these foods, but we were blown away by the delicious pizza we ordered. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was tangy, and there was just the right amount of cheese. The cheese steak was also perfect, with finely chopped meat, lots of cheese throughout, all on a crusty roll. "I ordered food from this restaurant but there was a mix-up with my address right from the start. I had to repeat it five times to the person taking my order. After an hour, the driver called saying he was outside, but when I went out, he was nowhere to be found. It turns out he was at an address 10 minutes away. I tried calling the restaurant to explain the situation, but the person I spoke to couldn't seem to get the address right. After waiting for two hours, I had to cancel my order and get a refund. It's disappointing because I used to like this place, but the service seems to be going downhill."
