"Today, we visited with friends for lunch after church, and while we were serving food to the children, an accident occurred where a drink was knocked over, spilling onto a grinder that needed to be cleaned. These things happen, and from our experience as former servers and restaurant owners ourselves, we know that most restaurants would handle such situations gracefully, often taking care of the damage without charging the customer.
However, we were surprised when we were charged for a replacement sandwich, and it took longer to arrive than our original order. This was quite frustrating, but we held off on leaving a bad review initially. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server, who we thought might be a manager, she just found it amusing that we were charged.
We left feeling let down by both the service and the response. We tried to express our concerns, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Unfortunately, because of this experience, it’s unlikely we will return. It's disappointing because we have three family members with restaurants all within a five-minute radius, and we were hoping to find a new favorite spot."
