"Last two times I ate the Brisket and the Steak. I was very disappointed at her. Both times the meat was dry and chewing. I suggest you stick to the Deli plates or the burgers. Even when I ordered a diet coke, I was told they were out. How to run a restaurant from one of the most popular soft drinks. After dinner, the waiter brought the dessert dish. I chose a Danish. What a surprise that was also dried out. The only plus for the whole evening was or wait. He was very attentive and offered to inform the chef about the problems I had."

"Terrible, Petty, Unprofessional, Rude, Cheap, and Miserable. If I could give negative Stars, I would. I wouldn 't send my worst enemy to this place. They also run a satellite cafeteria in my office building at the Omni Building in Uniondale. The guy working behind the breakfast sandwhich counters is the embodiment of the word MISERABLE. He is so rude, you feel like you 're bothering him when you say Good morning, how are you? If you ask for a side of hot sauce forget about it he 'll slam the hot sauce on the counter afterwards. The old lady that works the register is probably the WORST part of this place. She disgusts me. I regularly come here and so do many of my colleagues, since it 's downstairs, on busy days it is convenient. One day I ordered a breakfast wrap $9.00 , which in general, has more wrap than egg protein. When i get to the register, I kindly mention to the register lady that I forgot to grab ketchup packets and that I would be grabbing them after paying for my wrap, and exiting through the entrance which is no uncommon . This lady then has the AUDACITY, to tell me not to take too much ketchup. Idk what to say at this point. I pause in amazement. Then i ask Why? and she goes on to tell me that last time i took way too much ketchup and that they yes THEYYY! are not ok with that and said something after seeing me. WHO ARE THEY?... The audacity to call me out and shame me on taking like 5 ketchup packets 1 WEEK PRIOR, when my office and the other offices in the building literally contribute thousands upon thousands of dollars annually to this business for terrible tasting food, the worst hours of operations and BURNT coffee. I am more than happy to pay even .25 cents per ketchup packet. Charge me. But to tell me that LAST TIME, i took too many ketchup packets. Are you serious? This is the worst business I have ever in 27 years on EARTH been to. This is one of many incidents that have occurred between the Stewart Ave location and the Omni cafeteria and my colleagues. Terrible people and less than mediocre food. If you are considering going here, please consider fasting instead."

"Used Garden Gourmet for an employee celebration (300) and it was a huge success. The sandwiches were displayed beautifully and absolutely delicious. Everyone was impressed with how fresh everything was. Nice portions and excellent variety. Dessert trays were a big hit. We have a very picky crowd with diverse cultures/diets. All were pleased. Highly recommend them."

"Normally a good experience at bagel Chalet but on two occasions now what I ordered is not what I received. Judging by the reviews this seems to be common. It does not encourage me to come back anymore. I very clearly gave my order for a hero. I asked for extra cheese and mayo on the side. What I received was one slice of cheese and the sandwhich drenched in mayo with a cup of mayo on the side. What sense does this make? Also my food was served on a dirty tray. Classy. The sandwhich was so unenjoyable that I tossed it. I know the order was taken correctly because I saw the paper it was written on. I was even charged extra for the extra cheese."

"They seem like really nice people but I have to say they are absolutely gouging their customers! A bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel is $7.49 and that’s their CASH price. Not sure I am allowed to mention competitors on here so I won’t give out the name but a comparable if not better bagel shop right down the road on main street is $5.79 for their same exact sandwich. That’s a 30% difference. And that’s not the only comparison. Literally every other deli I’ve purchased the same exact sandwich for in the area is considerably less. This is not a typo they are gouging $7.49 for a bacon egg and cheese! You know what’s the worst? When a business owner complains that prices of things are up so they have to make their profit. I get that. I own a business as well. But when your competitors at 30% less than you then you can’t use that excuse anymore. When eggs were super expensive stores raised prices. Totally get that. When the price goes down you are supposed to help your customers out and adjust them back, not continue to take advantage of them and fatten your wallets! It’s simply unacceptable and I will not be going back.Update: The sandwich does come with a coffee or Small OJ but most of their competitors do also! What if you don’t drink coffee or OJ? Do you get a discount? Cmon that’s just an excuse to drive up the price. In one instance there is a place that does not include coffee or juice but you can purchase for a discount of $1 so it’s still cheaper than your prices. There’s nothing to argue here , you are overpriced. Period. As far as complaining directly, would that change anything lol. This is not personal so stop taking it personally. you seem like a really good guy just admit that you are expensive."

"Our first time visiting New York together we tried this place and stood outside in line for about an hour and half. It was worth it! Naturally, we had to stop again. This time we got there at the perfect time, as there was no line. However, after weordered the line had already formed out the door! I would advise ordering online if you're planning to be there at any rushtimes. They have a huge variety of sandwiches and cream cheese options, but I love the bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagelsandwich. I had asked for mustard this time, but didn't realize it was deli mustard and I hate horseradish. However, it was verymild and actually a really great addition to my sandwich!!! (Note: be sure to ask that your bagel be toasted) There is almostno seating and it was about $18 just for two bagel breakfast sandwiches, but so worth it! I love this place and will continue tomake it a usual stop whenever I'm in NYC!"

"I purchased a Too Good to Go order which is supposed to be $15 worth of food for $4.99. I was handed a bag containing a tuna sandwich. When I asked where the rest of the food was, the woman behind the register shrugged her shoulders. When I gave her back the sandwich and requested a refund she said you got what you paid for . and I should see the owner who will be in tomorrow . The two other female employees behind the counter were smirking . One of them yelled at my wife have the day you deserve as we left. I am a business owner myself and have never been disrespected by such rude employees like these in my life. I still have not received a refund."

"I visited another restaurant that tries to charge $3 for a $0.99 Arizona iced tea. The staff was rude, and the food wasn't even that good. I won't be returning. I paid $14 for two iced teas, which should have been $0.99 each, and two bagels—one with cream cheese and one with butter. At other bagel places, you can get two egg sandwiches and a drink for that price. I recommend going to Better Bagel or Seaford Bagel instead; they're less expensive and offer much better quality and service."

"This is one of my new fav breakfast spots. I ordered 2 Eggs and Meat Cheese on a Roll with a hashbrown, it was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back for another soon. Iced Coffee was great and also fresh!"
