"It took 30 minutes for anyone to come to our table—even for a drink order or chips and salsa. Finally, a server came over, but it seemed like no one was assigned to our table, so he took it upon himself to assist us. We ordered our drinks and chips and salsa, placed our food order, and then proceeded to wait another 40 minutes.
As the parade was approaching, I became anxious to wrap things up, especially for my 2-year-old son. After over an hour without food, we ended up snacking on chips and decided to get our dinner to go. There was no apology, no discount, nothing offered to make up for the wait. Meanwhile, other tables around us were being served promptly.
Despite our requests to either cancel our order or have it packaged to go, there was no sense of urgency or consideration from the staff. Eventually, they brought out our food after more than an hour, but it was on plates even though we had already indicated we wanted it to go. I’m just now eating the meal I never received last night, and to top it off, I’m missing the enchilada. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time."
