"My dad and I breakfasted on the challah french toast, feta spinach omelette with home fries, and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the home fries here. The service was excellent, as the waitress was quick with our order and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The music in the background was cheerful and upbeat, but not too loud. We will be coming back!"

"The place is a good old Greek restaurant with which I grew up in my hometown. The food was super duper excellent! A little slow on the service, but I still value this restaurant high. The Spot Restaurant gives you the good old, cozy feeling. The food is excellent. The location on Upper Front Street is a beautiful place, just don't understand why they have these stupid traffic circles in Binghamton. Whoever thought about it really had her head up there shirt!"

"Breakfast Bonanza! We recently visited Towson Diner after not going for a while, and we decided it was time to give it another shot. There was a short wait to be seated due to the busy atmosphere, but it was absolutely worth it! We went for breakfast, and I must say, everything was fantastic. The Greek omelette was incredible, and the pancakes and waffles were equally delicious. We all shared bites of each other’s dishes, and I can confidently say everything was excellent. The service was outstanding as well. I would definitely return. And don't even get me started on their desserts—wow! I’ve already decided what I’m getting next time after confirming that all their baking is done on-site. I highly recommend it!"

"I am sick of going by the reviews and ratings provided by Google. The food here was horrible. And super expensive. I paid 67 for 3 breakfast meals and I'm expecting a really good meal. The eggs Benedict and Greek omelette were horrible. My California omelette was ok. The sugar and salt shaker were crusted and unable to and I had to unscrew them and pour the salt in my palm to sprinkle it on my food. The waitress didn't come by to refill my coffee to the very end. This diner is a basic diner with extremely high prices. I swear it's not worth going out anymore to eat. I can cook better than this in my sleep."

"Awesome $5.05 Breakfast Special. Two eggs OE, 4 strips of bacon, home fries, rye toast and coffee, yes coffee too. The folks here are very friendly and attentive. The order came out in less than 4 minutes, kudos to the kitchen. My server did the follow-up within 2 minutes of the order served. Oh, and the rye toast was high quality that stayed warm and soft the entire meal. Good coffee too."

"The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake. However, there was some confusion with our server. A young man initially helped us by seating us and taking our order, but later on a young woman took over. When we needed something, the first server would just point to the second server. This caused some issues with the service as neither checked on us frequently."

"The restaurant must be under new ownership or management. I hadn't visited in years because of previous bad experiences. However, I noticed it was more crowded on weekends and decided to give it another chance. This time, we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning soon and hope they maintain this level of quality. It's great to have a nearby spot for weekend breakfasts."

"I have ordered from this restaurant three times - once to dine in and twice for takeout. During my dine-in experience, the staff were mostly neutral, not particularly friendly but not rude either. They seemed professional in their customer service skills. I ordered breakfast and found the food to be bland but edible. When I ordered takeout, some of the staff seemed reluctant to have me enter the establishment, despite my appearance being clean and presentable. The breakfast orders for takeout were also bland but edible. I may consider trying their lunch menu in the future, but overall, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant due to the lackluster experience."

"Food and service 0/5 stars. It took 2 minutes for someone to greet and seat me after walking in. Waitress asks “all by yourself?” as I get into my seat. Then I change my mind and want it to go. I walk to a stand, young waitress here, and after waiting 15 seconds, I ask for to go.. because I didn’t want to wait 1 minute plus like last time.. I leave my $20 on the table, for a order of pancakes w bacon and my soda because I have to go somewhere urgently.. I come back 10 minutes later with my pancakes ready, but apparently I have to ask if I want butter, syrup, and a fork in my bag? Instead of you know.. already having these in the bag.. what do you save .15 cents by asking? Mind you I tipped without dining in, everything should have been in the bag.. I was in a rush so declined, and of course the pancakes tasted horrible, the bacon was fine. Mind you I didn’t complain or use sinful language because I’m a gentleman and assumed the waitresses are tired or dumb.: When I’m in the area (thankfully I hardly am) won’t be coming here again"

"Food was great. Customer service not so great. Walked in felt like I was back in the 1900s I didn't belong with the stairs I was given. I wasn't acknowledged by anyone, until the cook told the girl to give me a menu. I was ready to walk out but stayed ordered. Then when my food was done, it sat there once again the cook had to let them know it was done even though the woman at the register saw that it was done. Not sure if that's procedure but what really pissed me off, is when I went to pay for my food, I handed the woman my cash in her hand I had my hand out for my change she put it on the counter instead of my hand gave me a smirk. It was as if she didn't want to touch my black hand. I almost said something but my fiance just said it's not worth it. So I just left. So sad because the food was good but the service was racist."

"The manager attempted to make the waitress pay for our crabcake after a billing error. To set the stage, everything else was fine during our visit. However, there was a discrepancy with a charge on our receipt, which the waitress acknowledged herself. It wasn't a major issue, but we weren’t going to cover it at her expense. So, we approached the manager to address it. Unfortunately, he was unreasonable and refused to recognize the mistake, insisting that if we had an issue with the food, we should just say so. What really upset me was when the manager tried to have the waitress compensate us from her own pocket. She approached us with $10 out of her own money, which is already a stingy and unethical response to a charge that shouldn’t have existed. To then put the burden on the employee is simply appalling."
