"This spot is excellent. We got two apps, two entrees and a couple glasses of wine. Service was excellent even though it was one guy running the whole dining room and bar. Mushroom risotto with pistachios crumbled over top as a garnish blew my mind/ that’s how I’m making my mushroom risotto from now on. Carbonara was excellent, a little creamier than I make at home, but in fact better than what I make at home, so I’m smiling. This place is great if you love food and neighborhood vibes. I cannot wait to go back!"

"Great dinner again. Second dinner this week at Chatham House, when we arrived restaurant was very busy. We ordered a drink at the bar while we waited for a table only took about ten minutes to be seated not bad for south Florida dining on a weekend We brought a friend with us who had never been here before. We all enjoyed our dinners very much. Service was excellent and paced just right. If you’re looking for a rushed dinner you won’t find it here It is nice to be able to relax between courses and have conversations Food was excellent service was excellent and we will definitely return on our next visit to the area"

Authentic flavors and a perfect atmosphere for gatherings and special dinners. The wine selection features both Italian and local Washington options. This restaurant has been a beloved part of the community for 30 years! it's authentic Italian flavors and freshly-made from scratch. Came here with my wife and my daughter for a special date, the special of the day Halibut w/ mango salsa was delicious, the bistecca di pepe (12oz ribeye) was made to perfection. My daughter loved their pasta so much as well. The carpaccio di manzo was a winner for sure Service is top notch and staff are very experienced with their food menu options. Definitely gave us the fine dining upscale Italian restaurant experience"

"First time. I would try Branca again, but not running back. Complimentary bread yummy. Service great. Lasagna delish. Pizza was a bit soggy in the center so could not pick up a slice until the tip was cut off with a knife/fork. Ceasar salad was too light on the dressing, almost indiscernable. Fried calamari very good. Lighting was too dim. Had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu otherwise it was a strain. I saw another person a few tables over do the same. Did not get dessert."

"The food was well prepared and served hot as it should. The lentil soup was excellent though a little spicer than I had expected. Nonetheless it was very enjoyable; especially as it was accompanied by a tasty focaccia bread with a nice crunchy crust and soft pillowy inside. My entree of a seafood selection over a properly prepared al dente pasta was quite tasty though a bit spicer than I prefer. The seafood selection was heavily tilted toward calamari and very little fish. No matter it was tasty. The staff were very friendly and made our visit a pure delight."

"Pasta dishes were very good, the pizza was just ok we were excited about the reviews of the 5 star pizza but for us it was more like 3 stars. The desserts were amazing. The wait staff was ok nothing to rave about and the ambiance needed a reboot. But not bad of your stuck in north beach and don’t know where to eat. We are going to try the mission one and see if it’s any better."

"As for the food, everything was enjoyable, but a few dishes truly stood out. The complimentary bread was fantastic, just as all the reviews mentioned. We shared the Calamari Fritti ($16.99), which was lightly breaded and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Spaghetti with Meatballs ($16.99), the Pollo Michelangelo ($17.99), and the Manager's Special Trio that included Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccini Alfredo, and Lasagna for $23.99. You can also add a House Salad or Minestrone Soup for just $1.99 with any entrée. To finish our meal, we shared a delicious Tiramisu for $6.99. We brought our own bottle of wine, and the corkage fee was only $10, with no limit on the number of bottles per table, which was great. We also tried their Sangiovese for $26, which I found to be quite reasonably priced. Overall, we enjoyed a cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and tasty food. We’ll definitely be returning!"

"The atmosphere is the reason you come here. There's beautiful live music which isn't too loud or overbearing. The ambience is perfect for a date, family, or friends to enjoy themselves, talk, and enjoy a meal and/or drinks. My biggest issue was the food. The menu sounds great. However, I did order the pizza, which every Italian restaurant should perfect. When I picked up the first slice, the whole thing flopped down and all the ingredients slipped off. I could see water puddling into the middle of the pan. I did try it regardless, and there was no flavor. Unacceptable for an Italian restaurant. This could have happened because of last call and they possibly rushed it out. I did enjoy the music and wine selection. And the service was exemplary. Our server did make a continued effort to offer me a new pizza or some other entree. I will probably stick with the drinks at this place, as paying $20+ for a small pizza or pasta is not worth it for me. I would definitely come again."

"Wow! This year, I decided to order Thanksgiving dinner from Prego, a restaurant my family has been visiting for 30 years. They truly delivered! We received beef lasagna for eight, Caesar salad, creamy mac and cheese, bread, dipping sauce, and breadcrumbs (which we call Modiga) — all beautifully packaged and ready to be reheated on Thanksgiving Day. A huge thank you to all the hard-working, friendly, and helpful employees who assisted me. This experience exceeded my expectations! Thank you, thank you!"

"Dessert is very nice, waitress is awesome, the wedding soup was great, portions large, people are friendly, but, dinner I tried to eat it but, the pasta was way overcooked mush, the veal saltimbocca was nothing but cheese and parsley was chewy, i sent it back, still charged. I asked before I ordered it do you have fresh sage for it.. there was no sage and just not Italian meal. "Their taco salad is really good. I’ve only had it once I’ve visited twice to get it again and unfortunately they don’t sell it anymore. It is still on there menus online so make sure you call before going. Also very expensive but worth it the chef is amazing."

"There are not a lot of choices in Sea Isle NJ on a Tuesday in winter. La Fontana is open all year and I expected mediocre food- was totally impressed by the quality and taste of the food! Our server was very accommodating and pleasant! We have eaten there In season many times and love it just as much off season! A true favorite!"

"Food was very tasty. Lasagna and veal parmesan were excellent. Service was ok, but poor communication created issues. For example, I know DC is very expensive, but I was charged $5.50 for a small, skinny glass of iced tea. When I got a refill, I was charged another $5.50. The no refill policy was not in the menu or communicated to me. When I received the bill, I was surprised and asked about the charge. The server apologized and went to speak with the owner/manager, who loudly told the server that there were no refills even on fountain drinks. Ultimately the server made it right, but the owner/manager certainly did not. Also had very loud Italian opera playing. OK if that’s your thing, but it wasn’t mine."

"Nice terrace. Pastas are good: they're not amazing, but they're not bad either. Good wine list and atmosphere. Servers are attentive. Crescent street is filled with many terraces, some are hit and miss. In the summer it seems very touristy. There is a pizza and pasta happy hour in the afternoon with pizza or pasta for $10. The main problem with the dishes is that the servings are large and lack diversity. For example, the risotto was delicious... but it was a massive bowl... too much. It would have been better to have less risotto and a bit of diversity like grilled vegetables or salad or meat or something else to add variety to the dish. Before every meal they bring a baguette of bread with olive oil. it is delicious, but it means that no matter what you order, this place is very heavy on the carbs... bread, pasta, pizza, rice, etc. Still... it's a reliable sure bet if you're not sure where to eat."

"very expensive restaurant for the listed foods. they are also one of the restaurants they want to be taxed on the Californian state, which is not part of what they ate. I have operated several hotels and tips are never calculated on state tac order. maybe California would wake up a day and decide to collect the tips that restaurants were collected in their name. Not what I would call audit fun. the service was sketched, I had the benedict for brunch that was $19 without a kartoffel side. ham was thin with flea mouse. sauce about limonistics. eggs were cooked properly. restaurant is part of a hotel that has not been made visible on the website."

"6:15 reservations and a show at 8pm. After we were seated, it took 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table to take a drink order. After we got our drinks, the waiter took our appetizer and salad order. We put our dinner order in at the same time because we were going to a show and figured it would save time. We got our appetizer and salad in a timely manner. 30 minutes later we had to ask the waiter to check on our meal as it was getting late. He came back with our meal and it was cold. Now it’s 7:35pm They offered to heat it up but we now had 15 minutes to get to our show so we asked for the check. A classy place would have comped the 2 drinks and appetizer and salad. Not here. $50 bill and off to the show starving. So disappointed!!!"

"I first had Made in Italy about 6 months ago, and have been there 6 times since, including having my wedding reception dinner in their speakeasy. I have at least sampled all of their pasta dishes and a few of their chicken dishes and can say that I enjoyedthem all. The Vesuvio, Spaghetti Carbonara, Chicken Manicotti, and Gnocchi were my favorite options, and their desserts arefantastic too! Great place for a date, and their speakeasy is a really good room for a small private event. Our reception had 16people and the size of the room was perfect."
