"This was my husband 's birthday dinner. When I made the reservation, I noted this. We arrived a few minutes before our time were seated immediately. I did notice the table was in the middle of the room would not have been my choice for a special occasion. The server arrived quickly, introduced herself was polite. We ordered drinks appetizers. The dirty martini old fashioned were delicious! The fried crawfish was fine, nothing spectacular. My husband ordered a half dozen chargrilled oysters, they were small and there were only five. I jokingly said to our server that the kitchen can 't seem to count, at first she misunderstood said , lucky you, enjoy as if we had gotten one. She said she would bring another one. She never did. The food was like the crawfish, fine but nothing spectacular. I had the crab cake Benedict which was barely warm and my husband had the Catfish Boudreaux. I was very disappointed that my husband 's birthday was not acknowledged. I thought at least the host and/ or server would mention that we were celebrating a special occasion. Overall, it wasn 't awful and I 'll probably come back for brunch. Seems like the bar was the only area that was on point this Wednesday night."
