"This is the first time I have ever been here with a bunch of people and this place is pretty fancy. It's got that old fashioned 1960s feel to it. It makes sense because it became a business since 1964 on Forest avenue in Staten Island. Then in the next year, Egger's added three more locations 1. Historic Richmond Town 2.Urby 3. Snug harbor. They also have a website explaining the history of Egger's. They don't only sell ice cream. They have candy too. The owner of that store told us the history of this place and how it came to be. They also have different flavors of ice cream. They had strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and much more. I asked if they had coconut and they did. It was coconut almond fudge with toppings such as crunchies, sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles. I tried their ice cream and it was good. It only cost $8 but I bet a cost way more or less. Maybe next time if I wanted something sweet,I'll get something from here. And don't worry they take cash and credit."

"I ordered a burger yesterday that cost over $6, and it was nowhere near what I expected for that price. It came with three mac and cheese bites on top, but the burger patty and cheese were of lower quality than what you’d find in a public school cafeteria. To top it off, there was just a tiny piece of bacon. I was really let down because their burgers always look so appetizing on their Facebook page. I also got a mini Blizzard, and while it’s fine that they put a lid on it, it was overfilled, causing it to spill out the sides and making it impossible to open without creating a huge mess. Overall, I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning."

"I visited DQ yesterday, and the staff was amazing! Both the food and service were excellent. The place was very clean, making for a wonderful experience. A huge bonus for those with service animals—I faced no issues at all, which isn't always true at other places. Thank you for a delightful dining experience!"
"I recently visited Dairy Queen, and my experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet I only received half of my order. I had ordered three Blizzards and two sundaes, but they were carelessly stacked on top of each other without a proper carrier. Only the sundaes came with lids, and when I asked for lids for my Blizzards, they just handed me the lids separately. Unfortunately, when I tried to put a lid on one of the Blizzards, the cup broke, spilling its contents all over my car. To make matters worse, when I tried to call the restaurant for help, they ignored all my calls. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience."

"We've really enjoyed the DQ (Treat) and the limited menu. The BBQs are fantastic! If anyone has complaints, they would be better off at a different DQ to address their issues with grease, grill, and floor cleanliness! While everyone wishes all DQs were open year-round, the limited hours make us appreciate them even more! (It's related to their contracts.) The dining area is very clean, both inside and outside. There are also picnic tables in the nearby park and several lovely spots around town to sit and enjoy your meal."

"I don't mind waiting a little longer for my food, but what doesn't make sense to me is that the soda machine at this restaurant only had 5 drink options, one of which was water and the rest were zero sugar. It was frustrating to pay for a soda and not have any variety to choose from. Shouldn't these machines be checked before the restaurant opens so that they are fully stocked and ready to go during busy times?"
"This isn't my first time dining here. I came specifically for the chicken sandwiches and stripe fries. However, when I got home (just six blocks away) and unpacked my order, I was extremely disappointed. Everything was ice cold except for the fish sandwich, which was unacceptable. I called and spoke with the manager, who handled the situation directly with me. They promptly replaced my food, and the new order was excellent—just what I typically expect from DQ. I appreciate the manager's efforts to make things right. I've had great experiences at DQ before, which is why I'm giving this review five stars despite the initial setback."
"I am relatively new to Dairy Queen (DQ). I first started going to the one on Route 9 South and have been pleased with their service and what I have purchased. The other day, I stopped off to pick up something in Harbor Freight in Hazlet and upon leaving, decided to stop in DQ which was a few doors down. I should have turned around and left because as soon as I entered, there was a strong smell that reminded me of paint thinner or some other noxious smell. However, since I was already there, I decided to purchase a strawberry shake. Did I mention that no one greeted me, and the man who finally came acted as if he was doing me a favor. I could barely hear or understand him because he spoke so low. Once he took my order and prepared it, I had to ask him for whip cream because he certainly did not ask me if I wanted any. Additionally, I felt it was my due since the shake was so expensive. I hurriedly paid and left the store before I fainted from the fumes. When I got in my car and took a good look at my shake, it was 3/4 full with a small dollop of whip cream on top, and besides that, really watery. On top of that, it tasted so horrible that I threw it out! This was my first and last time patronizing this Hazlet DQ establishment and I can promise that I will never do so again. As a final note, I really don't understand why the gentleman hasn't been removed from working behind the counter, or at the very least, be made to attend customer service classes."

"It is mid July and hot I walked over to my local Dairy Queen for some ice creme with my 3 month old in her stroller there’s a bunch of teenage kids working behind the counter doing nothing except 2 who were helping a customer I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to ask are you being helped and nothing the woman that decided to cut infront of me received assistance before me I went over and said well can I be helped cause I was standing here waiting before them mind you there’s still a people chatting in the back not helping anyone that could’ve helped but two employees told me they already are being helped basically too bad instead of anyone helping me after I said that ,one was an employee named dom who after I said I’m sitting here w a baby in the heat for ten minutes and wasn’t helped proceeded to tell me it’s not his job to make sure how the lines move somebody needs to tell dom it’s his job to ask people if they are being helped or tell anyone to ask the customers I was waiting for someone to ask me instead I got teenagers chatting ignoring me when I told him I was writing this in a review he said very on a very cocky manner go ahead I don’t care so here it is"

"As an employee of this facility (written) I can say that this is one of the best fast food restaurants I was in. Not only the employees are friendly and understand with the customers, but also with each other, for a healthy working environment. It is a perfect stop when you drive to the cabin or drive on the beautiful Paul Bunyan Trail."
"Dairy Queen used to have house right behind it first people owned from 1951 to 2014 new people 2014 till now its worth your time check it out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
"We watched 4 vehicles, in a matter of 15 minutes, leave the Dairy Queen drive through line. One vehicle was at the window waiting for food (they finally got it), the next vehicle had clearly placed an order and was behind the car at the window (they finally left). One of the two cars in front of us was at the speaker phone waiting to place an order but no one answered. The other car left out of frustration and a car drove up behind us, saw the line and also left. We decided to leave but wanted to see if anyone was even inside. A woman came to the window and told us she was sorry but there were only three staff, and they just couldn't keep up. When we looked inside the restaurant, no one seemed to be busy and/or bustling around to do anything. Now we wanted our chili dogs and blizzards, so we drove to the Forest Lake Dairy Queen and were in and out within 10 minutes. And the staff was friendly. The Wyoming Dairy Queen needs to take a lesson from the Forest Lake Dairy Queen, invest in some more staff and customer service training or just close. The drive through service has always been slow at this location but this was so ridiculous that it bordered on being funny."

"Today was my first visit to this restaurant, and I ordered a root beer float and a chicken sandwich with fries. I loved everything! The food wasn’t salty at all, which is perfect for me since I don’t add salt to my meals. Overall, it was a great experience!"

"Thank you, Ms. Lisa, for serving my boys, my sister, and me. You were a delight, and the food was delicious. Your service and kindness are truly appreciated. You and your staff are amazing for keeping the restaurant running. Without all of you, we wouldn't have enjoyed such a lovely meal. God bless you all!"
