"We were greeted at the door by someone who told us they didn 't have a booster seat for our 3yr old after I had already called and inquired about it and was told they did. The person just stood there staring at me saying I 'm sorry , and didn 't offer to seat us.Finally, I had to ask, Are you going to seat us or what. Once we were seated, the food was ok. Our waffles were burned a bit, but it was ok. It just wasn 't a good start to my Mother 's Day."

"We loved the breakfast menu here, including the great selection of adult beverages! Our waitress was on point, our food arrived quickly and everything was as ordered. We also took home a pack of pumpkin waffles! Great food and excellent service. We had a beautiful view of the bridge even though it was a gloomy day. The manager even stopped by to see how we were doing. We would definitely return when we get back to Cincinnati."

"The food is excellent and never disappoints. I'll keep returning for the food, thank you! Server was stiff and awkward but that was specific to this man and may not be your experience. Checkout was a bit of a fiasco as we paid the wrong bill, never noticed because of the awkward hand-held devices they use to pay at the table, had to have the first transaction refunded, and had to pay again once the server realized the issue. In the course of it all I also missed out on $13+ of rewards that were associated with my account. Great food but that experience made this a disappointing visit. I'm sure we'll still return though."

"We scheduled a reservation for 9:30 on Sunday. We did this so we have a table. Lately if we try to go on Sunday we can't get a table without a reservation. This time even though we had a reservation they did not have a table for us and wanted us to share a table with another party. What is the point of scheduling a reservation? Then we noticed that the table next to us had their dogs at the table. This is the second time this week we were at this location and people had their dogs in the restaurant. This was not a service dog, no identification, just a pet. When we asked the server when they started letting dogs in the reservation she said an untrained staff who was handling the front desk let them in without asking. It doesn't matter if we like the food it's getting too frustrating to try and eat here anymore."

"I randomly decided to walk the Roebling and ended up at ToB. I was surprised to see that they offered all-you-can-eat mussels and frites, along with 1/2 off a bottle of wine on Thursdays. I decided to go for that deal, but unfortunately, the mussels were very gritty. It seemed like they hadn't properly soaked them in freshwater to expel the sand. Additionally, the server forgot to bring the fries with the mussels. When we asked for them, he ended up charging for the mussels and fries separately, making the total closer to $30 instead of the $23 we were expecting. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it was annoying enough that I don't plan to rush back anytime soon."

"I dined at this restaurant while visiting from Columbus and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the meatballs, which were fantastic. The sauce they were served in was so delicious that I even dipped my fries in it. The sauce for the fries was also very tasty, with a mild flavor. My mom ordered the chicken and waffles. I also tried a hot mocha, and as someone who only enjoys coffee when it has a chocolatey flavor, I can say that it was the best coffee drink I've ever had. The portions were quite generous, and even though I had planned on ordering dessert, I was too full to eat more. The pricing was reasonable, the food was excellent, and I adored the decor of the restaurant. I hope they consider opening a location in Columbus! If there was one nearby, I would definitely stop in frequently for coffee or desserts."

"My husband and I ate at Taste of Belgium Over- The-Rhine on a Saturday morning. We arrived shortly after 9 thinking we could just get a seat at a table/booth, however, they had reservations booked until noon, so be sure to reserve a seat before you go. There were seats available at the bar and not many people were there so we sat at the bar. One of the most popular dishes is the chicken and waffle so I ordered one along with a veggie omelet. The veggie omelet comes with your choice of fries, fruit or salad. My husband ate the chicken and biscuit smothered in gravy with extra gravy (because he loves sauce). The food was beautifully prepared and equally delicious! There was nice music playing in the background and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. We will visit again in the future with reservations of course. If you haven't eaten here yet, rsvp soon."

"This location of TOB missed all marks except for our service. We love TOB at Rookwood and OTR, but this one was a completely different experience. We made a reservation for 5pm for 6 people. We arrived and the place was nearly empty. We were there until around 6:30 and it was the same empty. Our server was attentive and good, but our food was a different story. 4 of us got their signature chicken and waffle. The chicken was much thinner than usual and the salad tasted like someone dumped a bottle of salt on the salad. None of us could eat our salads it was like eating pure salt. Thankfully when brought to our server’s attention, she did replace our salads and brought different dressings. The burger one person got was completely tasteless. Amongst all this, the music overhead was very loud and kept going in and out. It would play for 30 seconds or so and then just stop, then after 1 minute or so blare back on. It became very annoying so we brought it to our server’s attention and she did have them turn it off. I just can’t understand why none of the employees thought to turn it off we sat and listened to it for at least 45 minutes thinking it might get better or stay on or turn off completely. Final statement is we won’t be back to this location. Our server was great no blame to her, but the rest food, ambiance, noise all were disappointing."
