"Even though they also serve animal products, they have a whole section of their menu devoted to vegan options with plenty of choices. The owner/chef used to be vegan, so they get it. Got to chat with them a bit while I enjoyed my food ; The VEGAN CORNBREAD was so good that I had to get more for the road (and it was still delicious and moist several hours later . Staff were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions and the food was delicious! Wish I lived nearby so I could go on the regular."

"I have never been to a WH that was so bad. my server was clearly in training and did a great!! Job. the supervisor was telling her to wipe tables so we could sit while she was making waffles for her tables. The supervisor was barking orders, and the other supervisor was putting items (stock) away.. my wife and i waited over 15 min just because no one would wipe the counter. There were 2 of us.. SAD. Service: Dine in"

"This is easily becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots. I got a breakfast burrito, cheese grits and a side of eggs. Everything was delicious, warm and cooked quickly/correctly. Grits can be very hit or miss in restaurants and these were perfect. Id like to mention I ordered at 6 am so Im very pleased with the quality of my food."

"To start, our waitress Ashleigh was amazing and super helpful so that's the ONLY reason why I'm giving 2 stars. To start the food was mid the whole time, cheap considering how much me and my fiancé ordered. Then as I finished my food, I watched an order gentleman with glasses in the kitchen BARE HAND every single food item that was being put out to be served. Touching bread, bacon, pickles, the paper order slips, everything. I've read other reviews and they give high praise, but I don't think any one has sat at the bar like I did to see this happen in front of me. Immediately the food was gross to me because I had no idea If he had touched mine and my fiancés, and then on top of that, I got a water refill and it had apiece of hair in it. I'm confused why he was exempt from wearing gloves when everyone else in the kitchen had gloves on. Again, it was cheap food for a reason. Will not be going back."

"I want to say thank you for making my wife's birthday celebration so memorable. The scallops, soft shell crab, and shrimp snapper soup were absolutely delicious! This was our first outing together since I beat cancer, so it was a truly special evening. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and we would highly recommend trying the broiled scallops. Overall, a perfect dining experience. Thank you!"

"Coffee was cold, eggs were so over done they had a brown crust. Whatever seasoning they put on the home fries is strong and ruined the taste of the other items on the plate. I was one of the first customers of the day, but my waitress never made it by to ask how my breakfast was. I had to stop someone to get the check."

"Came for coffee and cinnamon buns…coffee was fine, can’t go wrong, pastries were clearly heated in the microwave, came stuck to the plate surrounded by sugary sauce and were essentially stale. We both had two bites and left the rest. Waitress cleared them away without asking if all was OK. Bill was $15 and we only had $20 so we still left a $5 tip because that’s what’s expected. Won’t be going back…. Nothing at all to suggest we should give it a second chance."

"This was my first time here. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. I heard so much about the place from colleagues but I never took the time to visit. I decided to go for lunch. Seafood Rice, has pieces of of blue crab that were over cooked. Random crumbs of crab shell through out the rice made it very difficult to enjoy. Overcooked shrimp and chunks of fake crab meat just killed the dish for me. The side of Mac and cheese was definitely old maybe made a couple days before. The cashier was a bit rude to my wife, so much so that she didn’t even want to order anymore. I kind of knew it wasn’t going to turn out good before I paid for anything, so this is probably my bad. Cashier paid more attention to her phone than anything else. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be returning, let alone recommend this particular location to anyone else."

"I do not like driving in the dark but I tend to wake up super early. So instead of worrying about hitting a deer at highway speed, I pulled into this Waffle House and dawdled over breakfast.The restaurant was cold enough that I could consider it freezing. Enough so that I had to pop back out to the van and get my hoodie. Ouch.Great service from Rianna who was unable to solve the temperature issue but was otherwise very helpful with taking my order and ensuring that my coffee cup was never empty. Hash brown bowl with ham and eggs and cheese. Quite filling and I could see it being made from my seat.I miss the Waffle House salsa and wish they'd bring that back. Until then, I have my own portable hot sauce.Vegetarian options: Try the hash browns with peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms. I do cook, but it’s just not the same without the dancing, the music, the games, the coquito, and a community of people simply enjoying life together. "Delicious meal—everything was fantastic! The chicken rolls were well-seasoned but a tad spicy. The fish was incredible, especially with the peppers and onions—it really enhanced the flavor. The shrimp were also amazing! My husband devoured his Fried Turkey Wing Dinner (he did share a small bite with me, but you know how men can be) and they were superb—not dry at all, which can sometimes happen with turkey wings. Our delivery guy, Dasher, was great! He was such a sweet guy and the drinks were refreshing. We would definitely order again!"

"Discovered through a food app and man, was I disappointed. Took me 3 times of chances to just give up. The first time was good, entree was tasty. Sides were a bit spoiled but for the price and service, it was passable. That second and third time, COMPLETELY different type of service! Food was NOT what was ordered on the app! And I truly feel like they couldn't have cared less about my complaint. Being black and supporting black owned businesses doesn't always work out I guess."
