"This was my first time eating at S bar. I sat outside under heaters and was very comfortable; inside was tooooo loud. Angela served us and was delightful. The edamame was great- the mixed sashimi portion was tasty, displayed beautifully but the pieces were quite small. Overall a gem of a place."

"My daughters and I were very excited to eat here heard wonderful reviews but we very disappointed. Maybe it was just a one time thing but we were not impressed at all. Our server was unfriendly and not attentive. It was not crowded at all because our reservation was at 2:00 pm so maybe she was just having a bad day? The dumplings were good but not amazing, the Korean Chicken sliders were good but there wasn't much chicken, and the miso glazed salmon was very fishy. My dad is in the seafood business so I definitely know good seafood and that salmon was barely edible. The best thing we had was the stir fry which was maybe an 8 out of 10. I guess we just expected more. I never write bad reviews but I'm hoping if someone from ChoLan reads this, they will try to make the food just as good at 2:00 pm as they do at 8:00 pm."

"We showed up at 6:50 for a 7:00 pm rezi. We thought we would check in and grab a drink while we waited. Not sure if they had a bunch of buss people not show up but the host looked to be too busy running around clearing and setting tables to even bother checking the host station. We stood there waiting until after 7:00 before the host finally looked over to see a fairly large backup forming. When we told him our reservation time he just told us it would be about a twenty minute wait and went back to setting tables. Considering the fact that there were a bunch of tables open....we were more than a bit surprised. All of the above said.... They sat us at our table about 10 minutes late, but the friendly bartenders helped to take the edge off of what was looking to be a bad experience. The food was amazing (have the beef cheeks!! and so was the waiter....Hence the 5 stars for service. I was leaning toward blaming the host for the poor beginning, but over flowing wastebaskets in the restrooms, un-bussed tables on the patio seating probably indicates poor management. Go for the food... be prepared for a wait."

"I went up to the rooftop of pier 17 and went to the Green, assuming it was a high-class bar, everything was decorated cool, very good music, excellent place, I was siting at the bar and ask for a drink and barman wants to serve it in plastic cups!!! Where has it been seen that a top bar is going to serve you in a plastic cup? LOW category, please, just as I sat down I got up and left. These things also happen in Manhattan. all that glitters is not gold..... bad experience of very low category … – show"

"the budda bar is a great restaurant with excellent Asian fusion eating, but has some problems. Last month my credit card was compromised by a waiter there. tried to test something when the card worked. I was alerted by bank and card was canceled ten minutes later, but in future I only use cash here. also these time tablecloths were not ironed and looked sloppy. fix these things, and this restaurant will be great."
