"I made reservations here for Valentine's day and everything was perfect! Their service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and with each dish it was cool how they talked about the food and explained some of the tastes and flavors just before we began eating. And they get huge props for accommodating my dietary restrictions and modifying almost every item on their menu to something I could eat! (5/5) Osetra caviar I normally hate caviar, but this one was really good! It's cured so it's a bit salty (4/5) Sauteed baby abalone Pretty good, although it doesn't quite compare to ones I've had in the past. That said, one doesn't eat abalone often, so I think the bar for abalone is pretty high (5/5) Warm lobster salad Wow! The lobster was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Also I thought the charred avocado was interesting; they blowtorch the avocado to give it a slightly tougher texture on the outside, mirroring the lobster (4/5) Braised Lamb Ragu The lamb was exploding with spices and flavor, although it was a tad dry inside. The pappardelle was perfectly al dente (4/5) Black Cherry Sorbet Pretty good, the puffed black rice was a bit hard (one of the pieces was like a rock) but the sorbet was flavorful without being too strong (5/5) Hokkaido A5 Wagyu This was the star of the show. Have you ever had steak that melts in your mouth like butter?? The only problem with this dish is that there were only 2 slices of steak! I wish there were 3! (5/5) Spicy Kiss Passion Fruit Juice They made a modification and gave me a small shot of spicy, fizzy passion fruit juice. The chili had a lot of heat but actually went well with the sourness and fizz of the juice. I would never have though of making passion fruit spicy, but it was pretty tasty (4/5) Cubed fruit stack I don't know what to call this since they also did an entirely separate fruit dessert for me, but it was essentially a Rubik's cube made of watermelon, kiwi, and strawberry, topped with a dark chocolate covered strawberry. (5/5) House made meringue I also don't normally like meringue, but this was like candy and tasted amazing! Thanks Viognier for a wonderful evening and accommodating my dietary needs, everything was solid!"

"I was so excited to return to this restaurant. I left a glowing 5 star review last time. This visit was anything but desirable. Drinks were fabulous as always. The restaurant has a fantastic wine and bourbon menu. Our server was Slade. He was less than friendly. He indicated they had a new chef and boy, I wish the last one would come back. They have changed the menu. They removed the steak tartare, which was my favorite. However, they added some new options. We tried the whipped goat cheese fondue, which I cannot recommend. It had an odd greasy layer that never mixed, and had little flavor. (If you want good goat cheese, go to Porcini's for their app). The wedge salad was pretty good, though it pales in comparison to the ones at Ruth's Chris and Jeff Ruby's. The shrimp cocktail was so so. The shrimp was very large, but the cocktail sauce and horseradish left something to be desired. It's not like St. Elmo's if that's what you're hoping for. Everything went downhill from this point. We ordered a porterhouse and a 10 oz filet, both medium. Both came to us charred and raw in the center. My baked potato was not hot enough to melt the butter. The sweet potato puree (awful by the way), was lukewarm at best. We asked for both to be reheated. By the time our steaks were returned to us, all the other sides were ordered were ice cold. (Carrots, asparagus, and Brussels sprouts). We both ate a few bites of our steaks. They just weren't good. There was a major lapse of time between apps and the 1st steaks, so by the 2nd serving of the same steaks, we were kinda over it. The manager never came by to address the matter. We didn't request one, but it seems to me that when a customer has just paid a six hundred and fifty dollar bill including two hundred dollars worth of inedible steaks, you might stop by to see if you can make things right. Based on this visit, I am cancelling my upcoming reservation for a birthday party. We won't be back."

"Sometimes it's about being on the scene. Super flashy. The city centre is covered in it. Then there are the other times if you would rather enjoy time and space with those you seem important. If you do not want throgs of ppl anywhere and able to enjoy a meal of quality and tantalizing creativity. Also make sure that you get the applesitter, even if it is to go, trust me, you will be elated if you enjoy it later. Also the simple one is excellent here, also the bacon and eggs get excellent brands and add the chimichurri potatoes for an additional kick! If you are looking for more lunch than breakfast, don't you look further than their 1111 signature Burger Come here?? All I had here was absolutely huge. This hidden jewel has to be disappointed. I first tried her brunch and had the shrimp and grits. The geese are so creamy and are paired with a tantalizing etouffée and perfectly fresh and tasty tiger shrimps. Let me just say magnifique #ChefKiss. Next on the #TableTour, The Everything Biscuit. This playful Rift is a reimagined coating of Bagel-Lox... but better because it made a devine homemade cookies with love. The biscuit offers the ideal vehicle to create a sandwich from everything. It's all you wanted and love a turn you didn't expect. It was still warm enough to enjoy their roof, perfect with the acidic east cocktail, an excellent drink for a roof. #TableTour 2 During our next visit we started the night with a lush common plate of cal salad with bacon. It was enough to share generously under 3ppl. We enjoyed a special dry aged bone rib eye? with bourbon glazed mushrooms? and these magnificent chimurri potatoes. And although we were too full for dessert, we enjoyed a round of bull young (an exquisite hard to find Bourbon) to catch a phenomenal meal. The price is reflected in both the quality and the amount of food you experience. Any bite is absolute????"
