"eating here did not simply slip; it muted. if it wasn't for the charge of the salt on each individual what it would have been tasteless. server was slow and did not come back by much and said nothing about the untouched plates of 3 of us 6. He removed the Carnitas tacos after one of us had complained how bad they were. even you once excellent salsa is faster downhill than lindsey fromn. we have often eaten here and it is in the really great, but the previous time that we have noticed that the dings were tasted. this visit confirmed that various means are not good."

"The ambiance is great whether sitting on the patios with views of ghe city below or inside. Our rable wasnt ready when the four of us arrived because “ we have had dawdlers who have been here for mire than 2 hours) yet there were other tables available. So we were seated after about 15 min our was disorganized. She took one drink order and left without asking the rest of us what we wanted . The marguerites were delicious. I had ordered the shrimp tacos but requested they be prepared just like the mahi. Mahi tacos came out instead. When the shrimp replacement came out they were cold. Then when the bill arrived we were charged fir 2 fish tacos and a shrimp taco that had to be removed from the bill."

"I stand by my original review below but I thought I needed to update my experience. The GM contacted me and was very genuine in his concern about my review. Next time I'm in town I will be giving them another try. Hoping this was just an isolated issue. Try this place they deserve another chance. My original review: The good thing was that once we finally got seated the service was great and the salsa and chips were amazing. Now the rest of the experience was not great. We were told the wait would be an hour and a half to an hour 45. It was Tuesday night and not incredibly busy so we figured that was an over estimate. Lots of tables were open so the 2 of us figured we would wait. Lots of younger people came and walked right in, the only people that seemed to be waiting were older, meaning in their 50s or so. Like clockwork our table took an hour and 45 minutes. I think the hostess was just showing her authority. Nothing else made sense. The food was fast but average at best, but worth the wait. I had high hopes after the fantastic salsa but I was disappointed. My advice is you can skip this place, especially if there is a wait."

"Blanco is delicious! Every menu item I’ve tried I’ve liked. Queso, guac, mahi, shrimp, carne asada and grilled avocado dishes are all phenomenal. Tres leches for dessert! They also have a great restaurant week deal that was very fair value. I think drinks could be improved, I’ve tried the margaritas and sangrias and they are very sweet and weak, and the service has been slow most of the times I’ve been- even when it is not at all busy. Although it’s slow, the servers are nice/knowledgeable and food runners are around to help. Guessing the long wait time is more of a kitchen issue."

"Great food, nice selection of appetizers, especially their warm queso with ground beef is amazing and their mango ceviche is very good. I'm GF, they have several GF options and the waiters are very knowledgeable when it comes to GF. They make sure to follow your request and recommend substitutions. Drinks are really good, especially their margaritas. I loved their Strawberry Shandi drink, was good and refreshing. Highly recommend the place for lunch, happy hour and dinner"

"Our server went above and beyond, which was truly impressive. The food and drinks offered were diverse, and everyone in our group was very satisfied with their meals. I had the vegetarian enchiladas, which were delicious! One of the daughters enjoyed a salad, while another opted for the bowl with charcoal-grilled ingredients. Our party of six was completely satisfied with both the meal and the service. Thank you!"

"We had a fantastic experience on Thursday night. The atmosphere was lively, but the combination of background music and loud voices made it challenging to have a conversation at our table (we were seated indoors). The food was excellent, and we were especially impressed with the service provided by our server, Dante. We will definitely return, though we may prefer to dine outside when the weather permits, as it can be quite difficult to socialize indoors when the space is so crowded."

"The very poor service by our waiter was the worst of this dinner. Our party of 10 was pretty much ignored by our waiter. How many water refills??? None offered. The drinks are overpriced. I was stunned at the size of the glass of the Cadillac Margarita $18 loaded with ice really? you can't make a profit by providing a decent sized drink??? . Ordered the Asada tacos. The meat was burnt chef, please learn to sear the steak and salty. Huge disappointment. One person in our party had a piece of plastic wrap in his burrito. Kudos to the manager who handled it professionally. It took an hour for our food to arrive so at the 30 minute mark we had to cancel the desert for the 2 kids. and just asked for our check. I am through with this chain. Restaurants like this soon go out of business."

"From drinks to appetizers to entrées, everything is very good. I've never been able to save room for dessert at Blanco, as the dessert options aren't particularly exciting. We’ve dined at Blanco three times, and each time, we had an excellent experience. We always have a reservation and have never had to wait for a table, unlike some other restaurants. The service is prompt, and our food and drinks arrive quickly at the table. I won't recommend any specific dishes because everything we tried at Blanco was delicious. It’s a great option if you’re in the city or heading to an event at Bridgestone."

"We just had a wonderful dinner in Andale. That was our first visit, but definitely not our last one. It started with a greeting from one of the best hosts “day” I have ever met. This child goes to places!!! He was very attentive and made sure that we had more of the fresh homemade chips and salsa. Our waitress Marissa was also fabulous! We told her it was our first time and asked what she would recommend. She proposed the Mexican sandwich and the Topoco salad. Both dishes were excellent. Tony, the owner, came to see how we did it. It's nice to know that people appreciate your business. No need to go to Mexico City for a delicious dinner in Detroit. You need to try Andale in Commerce Twp. One of the best Mexican restaurants we ate."
